My husband's disability took him to a wheelchair while he was in his 50's. Getting him in and out of the vehicle became more difficult so the staff readily agreed to come out to our van to fix his eyeglasses when they need adjustment (which is probably every 2-3 months!) Recently, Kayla has been the "runner" and has taken care of his glasses. She didn't mind the extra effort and was so sweet to both of us while she did the repair. Empire knows how to add the personal touch and we highly recommend them!

You said "she", I'm a patient of Chris McDaniel. But I understand that you feel things have changed. They have. And like you, I don't understand it, can't put a finger on it, can't verify a motive. You said, "seemed quite rigid and strange to not be accommodating". Okay we agree, something's awry. But, from my viewpoint, it's still a fun place with the artful displays, the inspired wall paintings, an optometrist who knows sign language, medical competency, etc. Perhaps you'll rethink leaving.
