Great experience here! Everyone was very friendly and prompt! Was called back right on time for my appointment by the doctor, so no waiting around at all. Everything here was high tech and it made it such a nice experience. No more poof test where I jump and hit my forehead on the bar. They have a new device that makes it so much easier and no poof. Plus, they had a new machine for high tech pictures of the eye (costs extra, but worth it to me!), meaning no more dialated eyes and weird sunglasses for the drive home. So much good information in the picture that Dr. Goble went over with me in depth at an understandable level. I also found out I have a freckle on my eye from that picture, so definitely thought it was a cool experience to get to look at my own eyes like that! I also needed to order new contacts, and they broke down pricing for me and checked out possible rebates for the brand I use, so super helpful all around. Dr. Goble was extremely thorough in explaining what he was doing and what was going on with my eyes. There was a large selection of frames. This is an excellent practice! Dr. Goble is friendly, engaging and has an effective way of describing the condition of your eyes. Instead of the old way of dilating your eyes to see inside, he has a machine that takes digital pictures. This allows him to discuss any findings with you and point them out on a monitor. Probably more important for busy people is that there is not the waiting and discomfort of dilating your eyes and then not being able to see clearly until the dilation goes away hours later. What a time saver! The purchase of new glasses was a breeze with a wide selection of frames from which to choose. I'm definitely going back when it's time for my annual visit! read more

I was looking for a same day appointment and I found this place on Google. I called and they scheduled an appointment within an hour of calling. I arrived for my eye exam and was greeted by the friendly receptionist at the front. Dr.Goble was very professional and friendly during the eye exam. He answered any questions that I had. They were never pushy in selling me anything. I decided to see if they could match a price at another shop I go to for lenses and they beat it. I went in the next day without an appointment, I gave them my frames and they had them ready in an hour. I was very impressed. Even though I didn't have another appointment, Dr.Goble did make time to ensure that I was satisfied with my lenses. World class service. I visited as a new patient for a second opinion on my gas permeable lens prescription. My nearsighted vision was so diminished I could barely see or read and my writing was full of typos because I couldn't focus on anything up close. I had eye strain, headaches, and was often dizzy. I was worried my vision was rapidly declining. Dr. Goble took my concerns seriously, did some research (educated me as well), and updated my prescription. Success! Giving a shout out to this optometry clinic. We're vacationing here from out of town and this morning one of the nose pads broke off from my glasses. I tried wearing them without it and it just hurt too much. Eyes in the park was just on the corner of where we were staying so I stopped by to see if they could help me. Their shop opens at 10am today but when they saw me waiting outside they let me in few min before 10. The staff that helped me out was very friendly. He took my glasses and said he may have something that'll will work. Within a couple min, he returned my glasses back fixed. They didn't charge me anything for the part/repair. Will not be going back there.. Dr. Goble started off nice, after opening his own practice (first met him at "For Eyes" on Southport.. but unfortunately the way he treated us yesterday played a huge role in our decision ton look for another optometrist. We made an appointment to inquire about the new prescription drops., which he immediately told me and my husband that he will not prescribe, they are "not practical" , and we should research another doctor who can prescribe them. He did not explain why or how this prescription could impact us... He was really annoyed and very rudely told us : "if I knew you only came in for this.. I would not have wasted 1 hour of appointments and kept that for people who really needed the appointment" ..I could not believe my ears... Really.. "Wasted an appointment time?? " ..what doctor tells his patient this?? We have been his patients for more than 3 years.. Well, "Not very practical" I guess to go back to a rude doctor.. they are so many others hopefully less rude !! read more

Dr. Goble was great! I was due for my annual checkup and needed to order new contacts. I didn't have a regular optometrist in Chicago, so I looked around for a bit that was in-network for my vision insurance. Eyes in The Park was right around the corner, so I figured I would give it a shot. I went on their website and selected a time and date. A few hours later, I was sent a questionnaire via email, which was easy enough to fill out. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was great. Dr. Goble saw me right away. In the exam he explained everything he was doing, and why he was doing them. Very professional, and greatly appreciated. He answered all of my questions - very knowledgeable. He was able to get me set up with new contacts, and was able to get everything ordered. I have an astigmatism, and he did his best to fit the lens that is the correct shape. He let me know the return policy just in case the lenses didn't fit perfectly. Overall, great experience. Professional, timely, courteous, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. read more

Unbelievable how good this place is. Definitely the best eye doctor experience I've ever had, by far. First of all I had a really long day, definitely did not look forward to going to the eye doctor. But my experience here changed my mood completely. Receptionists were very friendly. I only caught the name of one (Lilly), both were really nice. I had zero wait time which is unheard of for me. I'm used to waiting an hour or two before being seen. Dr. Grant is amazing. The technology here made this a completely painless experience. They don't blow air into your eyes or dilate your pupils. He's so great at explaining everything. You can tell he is a really great doctor because of how he explains things, and also how he treats patients. He's very kind and understanding. Dr Megan Allen is wonderful! I highly recommend her. First of all, the clinic's overall customer service was great, and it's clear that they are taking COVID precautions very seriously. I took my two daughters (ages 3 and 5) for their very first eye exam and was so pleased to not have to wait at all for our appointments and we were the only people inside other than Dr Allen and the receptionist. Everything had been thoroughly sanitized before we came in. We all wore masks and I felt very safe. Dr Allen was truly so great with my girls. They were both very nervous before we came in, but she made them feel very calm, was silly and explained clearly what she was doing when examining them. But she was also very thorough- making sure she got to all parts of the exam even when the youngest was starting feeling a little shy.
