Who would have thought an optometry wouldn't sell eye solution to walk-in customers? My eyes were really dry after working in a lab, so I stopped in hoping to buy eye drops or contact lens solution. Anything would have been fine. I've always been able to buy these at other optometry offices, but here I was told the stack of solutions I saw in the back was for patients only. It was a huge stack. Who the heck does not want to make extra cash by selling eye products? You're an optometry for goodness sakes. What bothered me more than the policy was how I felt the moment I walked in. The interaction felt uncomfortable. It was almost like I was being judged for having my sunglasses on. So... I am so grateful that everyone here was very nice and helpful, I don't know why, but I always feels like people are serious at the optometrist, but not here! I walked in and was greeted by a kind lady at the reception desk. Went through the first patient chat and since I was paying out of pocket, I think I skipped a lot of paper work. Got my eye test and then waited for the doc to take me in. Dr.Wu helped me I believe and she was very helpful, I didn't realize how badly I needed glasses but after everything she took me to another kind lady, I forgot her name but honestly every one was kind! Anywho, she helped me pick the right glasses, got the ones I wanted, paid and waited about two weeks? Got them and they work just great! You get 52 Saturdays in a year: this business stole one of mine before I even became a customer. I made an appointment for mid day Saturday, received text 3 confirmations. Showed up only to be greeted by a locked door and a "sorry we are closed for emergency maintenance sign". If you can have THREE confirmation texts sent you should also have the ability to send cancelation texts. I planned my day around this and now have to take more time to find another practice. If you are considering this practice know that you can make an appointment, have it confirmed, but can't be sure they will be open when you show up. read more

I loved the old staff and luckily my eye doc and the gentleman who does the fittings are still there ... but the new folks customer service is a bit stiff and robotic. On top of that the "ai" answering service is absolutely terrible. If I have a quick question I don't see the need to provide all my personal information... and even after all that the human answering the phone didn't even know who she was talking to anyway! LOL. And what's with scanning my drivers license at my appointment? The woman asked "to see" my license,... but then the next thing I know it's being scanned. I would not have agreed to that had they asked. The old Eye styles felt like family. My wife, son, and myself have been loyal customers of Eyestyles for many years, and we've always loved that Eyestyles carried brands not found in other stores, and that the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, after the most recent purchase, we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I ordered a pair of Mykita Xander, and because it is handmade in Germany, took a long, long time to arrive. That's all well and good, as it was explained to me when I placed the order. Along with the frame, I also ordered lenses, of course. This time, however, I opted for Transitions lenses - the kind that darkens in the sun. The staff helping us was friendly and helpful, as always, and wrote down my order on a photocopy of my prescription. My wife and I, both distinctly remembered that we were quoted $75 for those self-darkening lenses. The order came to nearly $500, but I gladly paid because I loved the idea of not needing to carry around an extra pair of sunglasses anymore. Fast forward a few weeks, and I get a call to pick up my glasses. It was an overcast day and I didn't think twice why my new glasses didn't really darken as I tried them on. The next day was the typical sunny SoCal and I was unpleasantly surprised that my supposedly "Transitions" lenses did not transition at all. I called Eyestyles and after a few minutes of record searching, the staff who helped me in the first place explained that my new glasses just have the normal, clear polycarbonate lenses because she never charged me for Transitions lenses. Imagine my surprise! The only thought in my mind was, "what the heck did I paid for then?" I checked my "printed" receipt and it was true, Transitions lenses were NOT listed on it. To finally get those lenses, I needed to cough up another $75 AND wait another few weeks! Well, guess I'll need to pack my sunglasses for my Florida vacation. To everyone who reads this review, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a photo of your purchase order, so that if you ran into the same problem I did, you'd have something to back up your claim. Remember, kids, you ain't got no proof, if you ain't got no picture! Thanks for reading this long, drawn out review, but I feel that if I were to give anyone a 1-Star rating, I'd need to justify it with the whole backstory. read more

I've been coming here for years. Dr Christensen figured out I had a stigmatism so my vision has been so much better than before. I have seen a couple of the other Drs and they have been great too.
