My husband and 3 kids stopped in there yesterday to buy fishing…read morelicense and some bait but the old woman at the counter rudely stated that it was free fishing weekend that ended at midnight. I laughter and said it doesn't matter out licenses expire tomorrow (today) and we still needed them. She then point out that my 5 year old son needed a shirt on (our daughters were in swimsuits and nothing else but she didn't say anything about them). No he didnt have one on because we were going swimming, not a big damn deal as we was only going to be in there 5 to 10 minutes at most and we could have put a shirt on him or took turns getting our licenses and buying bait while waiting with him outside. No big damn deal. It was her rude ass tone and her attitude towards us about selling us fishing licenses that made us mad. I am very aware that places that sell licenses for the state don't make money off them but because of her rudeness she also lost a sell for bait that would have gone to the store. I don't care one bit about the whole 5 year old boy with no shirt on bit, wait yes I do because she was a bitch about it. It wasn't a major deal and I don't think any of the other MEN in the store fing cared one way or another about it. I should have just took my tank top off and plunked it on him and said now he has a shirt on bitch! But my husband had a more level head and said let's go as soon as she uttered that sentence. I thanked her for her rudeness and she said it's on the door and is policy. I said it wasn't that that I was thanking her rudeness for. It was for her not wanting sell us fishing licenses and for not wanting to sell us bait. Rude as he'll and will not be going back! My wanting to avoid going into Walmart kept me and my husband from getting new fishing licenses (no biggie because we will be getting them at Walmart after all) and kept a stupid little business from making money off of us from bait and possibly other sells. Their loss not ours but sure as heck won't step foot in that place again!

After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I'm honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods--over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on. When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had "no idea" what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused--not because no one was available, but simply because she didn't want to. She also said she couldn't help because it was "late," even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on. She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn't check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn't look into the delay, and wouldn't offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful "no problem" after providing absolutely no assistance. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I've trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way--especially when they're relying on a time-sensitive prescription.
