Recently went to this place for threading and waxing. The service was despicable - the salon lady did part of the job and left midway for another customer. I usually am a walk-in..The past few times I've been I was with 2 different Asian girls for an eyebrow thread. The first younger one felt like she did one hair at a time..it took a while and was sooo painful. After I was done it didn't look "cleaned up". The second time I went the older Asian one took a big chunk out of BOTH EYEBROWS!! WTF?!? If I gtold her to leave them fuller and she thinned them out and took chunks out so now I have to fill my brows in. It took me forever to grow them out so someone could clean them and shape them. Now-back to square one. I will go back just not to them. read more

Mamta is a godsend. She's been threading my eyebrows for 3 months now and I don't know how I ever existed without her. I also recently had a brazilian with her. She isn't only super skilled at what she does, she is also nice, funny, and makes an effort to put you at ease. This place used to be wonderful. Mamta did an incredible job with my eyebrows. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, a new staff member (a young girl) threaded my eyebrows. She was a bit rude, unprofessional and ruined my eyebrows. I have to let them grow out now and get them done somewhere else. Too upset to walk back in there... Too bad. read more

This place is great! I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time ever last month at Benefit, and it was super painful. The girl was abrupt and ended up tweezing instead of even threading. I decided to try EZ threads today because of the reviews, and figured my skin just needed to get used to the threading. I dont know the name of the woman who did my eyebrows, but it was as close to painless as you can get! My eyebrows look great, and she even gave me a little aloe massage. Now I understand why threading can be called "painless." I will definitely be back, and this place is wayyy cheaper than Benefit. They give you a discount if you use cash, and you enter the building through the Sutter Street side and they buzz you in. read more

My first time here, the girl threading me cut my lip and simply wiped away the blood without saying anything to me even after a generous tip - I saw the cut in a mirror after I left the salon. Second time, a different woman took out 2 of my eyelashes. I have eyelash extensions so I was a little annoyed and again, no acknowledgement or apology. They do a good job but with these experiences, I don't think I'll be back. read more

I really love this place. This has turned into my new, go-to threading spot. I've been returning regularly since discovering them a few months ago. Threading is quick, (relatively) painless, and efficient. Cheap, too, great price for a combo of facial threading. They use witch hazel at reduce bumps and aloe for soothing at the end, so nice. You do have to book for an appointment, but they're very responsive via email. Can usually get in the next day. read more

The lady was super nice and quick! I walked in there with a unibrow and eyebrows that looked like furry caterpillars. I asked her to clean them up and still keep them masculine. I love going to EZ Threads! Well maybe not entirely, because I still find threading somewhat painful, but I leave feeling so much better than when I walked in and that's in large part because of Mamta. Like another reviewer said, she is a godsend. Unlike any other person I've gone to before her, she's able to find my natural arch and clear away all the strays without ever over-shaping them. I don't even know where to begin with my review because my experience was that bad. My threader did not pull the hair out by the roots. It was my first time coming here and I was wondering why it didn't hurt as much as it did when I usually get my eyebrows threaded. I went home and upon closer inspection, realized that the person who did my eyebrows didn't pull them out by the roots and just broke the hair off instead. Which, in my case, is somewhat of a relief because I need them to grow back quick after the monstrosity that occurred after coming here. The person who did my eyebrows did my left one first. She took her time, was attentive to what she was doing so I thought she got it. Then she moved on to my right eyebrow and did it completely different to my left brow. My right eyebrow came out looking significantly thinner than my left. I realized that she didn't even take a moment to check for evenness as she was working on my brows, and I'm not sure why she wouldn't do that because how else would they come out looking remotely the same if you're not paying attention to what you're doing? I came after lunch and didn't have to wait at all, which was nice and the people here are very friendly. But given my experience here, I will not be coming back. read more

I very specifically told the lady to just do a clean up, and NOT take out any extras. Despite this, the lady took out a quarter of my eyebrow, even though I kept telling her while she was threading to be careful and not take it too much. Absolutely ridiculous! And while the owner acknowledged the mistake of her employee and gave me my money back, and a coupon for free eyebrows next time, I'm stuck with 3/4 of an eyebrow, and look ridiculous! It will take months to grow this out! I can't imagine going into work like this! Beware of any one other than the owner here. Absolutely disappointed. Update: I've been back twice to the owner, Mamta and do recommend her. She does a thorough, careful and detailed job and helped work around her employee's previous mistake. We've been slowly growing out the eyebrow that was taken off and I'm happy with the progress and how my eyebrows are shaped. I recommend making appointments to avoid waiting because the appointment holders get priority read more

I got an eyebrow and an upper lip thread here and was very happy with my service and results! The two women who work here are very nice, and did a very thorough job. It was only $20 altogether and I was out of there in about 15-20 minutes. I've spent a lot of time and money shaping my brows and upkeeping them over the last few years, so for me this was only a maintenance visit, so I can't comment on the shaping skills in this place.. but they seemed very capable! Cheap and cheerful place that does the job and I'll definitely be returning here every month or two to keep my brows tidy! :) read more
