They also recommended I bring more gold in as trade when the other jeweler said the gold from my original ring && 1 other was more than sufficient to have my new ring made. Lastly, what the biggest standout was for me on service was the second jeweler I visited was very professional & even came down from his work space to look at my stones w/me as. As I was explaining what I wanted, he was able to sketch out EXACTLY what I wanted...not attempting to put it in a preexisting design. All in all, it felt like this jewelry store was more into the business of selling pieces rather than making. I'm giving 1 stars because of the absurd amount I was quoted, the lack of care for making a custom piece (not meeting w/the jeweler) & the disinterest felt by both women to work w/us. John tries to be a full service jeweler. He does repairs in addition to crafting unique pieces. He's been a professional goldsmith for more than 30 years as well as being a platinum specialist.
