If I could leave zero stars, I would. One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant/lounge. From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible. It took 10-15 minutes just to seat us, even though there were clearly open tables. They didn't even have a hookah menu, so we had no idea what flavors or options they offered. After finally ordering, one hookah took about 45 minutes to arrive. Later, we ordered just fries and a bottle of water. After waiting over 30 minutes, neither had arrived. Meanwhile, we watched customers who came after us receive multiple plates of food. We finally gave up, paid, and left. When we mentioned the wait, the server had the audacity to say, "You just ordered the fries." It had already been over 30 minutesand what about the bottle of water? The entire experience made us feel like our table was being ignored or treated differently. Extremely disappointing service. read more

Went to Westwood to see my Persian best friend he loves hookah. I am not a big fan of hookah lounges. My days of inhaling smoke in my lungs are over. My request was a healthy restaurant. I was a huge fan until today. I was verbally threatened by a patron. He must be a regular because the people who worked there said he was a good guy. The dolma was nice, little bites of rice wrapped in grape leaves that give you a bit of savory, a bit of sour, and bit of freshness. I don't think I'd get it normally at the price point listed on the ubereats app (about $11), but it's not bad. The chicken kabob plate came with some salad, cucumber, a nice bed of rice, and a tomato, as well as a slice of lemon. The chicken was perfectly cooked, plump and juicy, though it could've been a bit more flavorful. The bit of salad was also surprisingly nice with the house dressing. This place had a nice vibe, decor, and outside eating area. They serve big portions and have a great value during lunch time. Their lunch offers half portions which are still large. The food was fresh and prepared well. Absolutely loved their hummus it's a must have. Service was wonderful staff and helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but the flavors were missing from the food I would have liked more seasoning everything was bland in my opinion. Ordered online for my husband via Uber Eats. The food was nicely presented but what irritated me was the dessert I ordered. In the picture it was a square cute in half, two triangles. I only received one triangle so HALF. It was placed right in the center of a huge plastic container: it wasn't the delivery driver because it's so wet that it would have been an imprint from the other. It was only the one I lifted. One of our favorite late night spots. The lamb shank is huge and cooked to perfection, and the kebabs are always delicious. Their barley soup is a must order!! The side of sumac puts it over the top. While I do wish the rice was more flavorful, it gets the job done. I've never tried hookah here but have dined in, plus we get takeout at least every other week. It's always poppin' inside though! I've literally have heard about this place for years and never bothered to go until last weekend. We came in on a Friday night around 10 and were seated right away in the outdoor patio section. They close at 12. Hookah 3/5 The first flavor of hookah we ordered was "porteghal khame" which I was expecting to be citrusy but sweet? It was neither and almost tasted burnt. The gentleman working there, Amir Reza, agreed to make us another one with no hesitation which was really nice! We asked for blueberry mint instead since it's a safer option and that one tasted/smelled amazing! However, it took over an hour to really hit compared to the first hookah which was strong since the minute we got it. I'm not sure what they did differently the second time around but the hookah just didn't hit. Ambiance 5/5 I really enjoyed the outdoor seating section. It was small and cozy with almost every table filled! Price 5/5 I'd say $28 for a hookah in Westwood is fairly reasonable since most places charge $30+ now. Service 5/5 This was the highlight of our night! Amir Reza was so attentive and kind. He shared that he's had a long day and has been up since 7 am but still had great energy and was still checking on every table. They have a sort of a covered veranda in the back where some tables had clear glass dividers per covid-fashion and others were socially distanced. The service was quick, friendly and super attentive. Even being so popular, they seem to pay attention to all the customers and we loved our server. The hookah ws a special mix he recommended and it was great and smooth. The first bite on kobideh kabab was so salty and very dry, we asked the owner and he said if I bring a new one it will be the same, very disappointed we did not eat kobideh, when they bring the bill they charged us fully and extra for tips, we object and he said you have to pay and if you did not like the food you should have said before. We had told them what they responded, they offered $5.00 back. They even charged us for can of coke that we did not open. We retuned $5.00 discount , it was insulting and paid 140.00$ and left.
