I had a buddy membership and every single time is brought someone the owner would find a reason to say that my membership doesn't cover it. I was on the stairmaster and she told me to leave with an active membership just because she didn't like how she was charging two members rather then what I paid for. very disrespectful owner- stopped me mid workout numerous times to find an issue, when I signed up with her!! read more

it is ridiculous that I pay for a black card to have full 24 hour access and can not even stretch in the aerobic room at 5 am on a Saturday. There is no area to stretch and to do floor exercises without people having to walk around or over you. I cancelled my membership before because of this exact thing for it only to get better for a couple of months and now again same issue. The only change is I do not have to fight with the homeless for massage chairs. The parking is horrible. You can never find a parking spot. Cars are constantly being towed. My car has been broken into twice. First time they rummaged through my car second time I had cash taken. Maybe patrol Your lot instead of towing your members. Good luck canceling your membership no one calls back and the automated service is horrible. I can go on and on. read more

I recently moved to the Westshore area for work and am living here under an active lease. My friends were visiting from out of town and paid $60 total for day passes so we could try the gym together. I signed up for a free trial but was told it couldn't be honored because my driver's license is from Texas, even though I provided my Florida lease as proof of residence. During the visit, I felt pressured to sign up for a membership despite repeatedly saying I just wanted to try it first. My friends were also denied refunds for their day passes. Overall, the experience felt pushy and dismissive. I won't be returning and will be advising friends and coworkers to look elsewhere for a more transparent and welcoming gym environment. read more

EOS is just a money grubbing machine. All they care about is taking your money and then you have to fight to cancel your membership and once you do they still keep taking your money. I was doing training until I had an auto accident and even after I went into the gym and told them to stop the charges they still charged me and then wouldn't give me the money back. I finally had to contact the Corporate Office to solve the issue. Now I have to do the same thing because even though I have silver sneakers which gets me the membership for free, they charged me an annual fee. I called the gym and told them to cancel my membership altogether as I haven't been able to use in it in the year and half since my accident yet they charged me anyway and are refusing to give the money back. read more

Eos has great variety of amenities available including group fitness and spin classes, a theater room, pool, sauna, massage chairs. I really enjoy all the group fitness classes. My biggest issue with Eos is it is ALWAYS, no matter the time of day, packed with people and the parking lot is a nightmare. I mostly joined Eos for the price point, 24 hour accessibility, and massage chairs, all definite perks. However the last few times I've visited, 1/4 chairs is always out of service. Hoping the crowd will die down this summer when the college kids go home for a bit. read more

I wanted to share my miserable experience with EOS, on behalf of my late son. Since his unexpected death at the age of 25 in August of 2025, they have been nothing short of impossible to work with. Cancelling a membership, even for someone who has died, is almost impossible. I strongly recommend that you find another fitness center before you commit to something that you can't get out of, even if you pass away. After his death, while dealing with all of his personal items and grieving in a way that I never dreamed possible, I went to the EOS on Dale Mabry in Tampa, where he was a member. They could not have been less helpful or sympathetic. They basically gave me a phone number to call and said they couldn't do anything. I called the number that was provided by the Dale Mabry club and they said they couldn't do anything unless I submitted a Death Certificate. That's not a great message for a grieving mother, but I did that. After reviewing the Death Certificate, I received a message saying the membership had been cancelled, not from EOS directly, but from a third party service. My son continued to receive threats of collections, harassing phone calls, and frequent reminders over his phone and his email, which I then controlled. Not until our Estate Attorney contacted them did anyone reach out to try to resolve the issues. This constant harassment for months caused me stress and was very upsetting. Finally, after the intervention of the attorney, we received notice that the account was officially closed and the harassment stopped. This is a terrible way to do business. This is just a warning to anyone considering an EOS membership to think carefully about your decision. read more

I signed up for an EōS membership many months prior to the opening. The main reason I joined was for the group fitness classes. I have been going to EOS for over a year and slowly they've been canceling the morning group fitness classes. As of today they've canceled every single morning group fitness class before 9 AM. There used to be group fitness classes Monday through Friday at 6 AM or 6:30 AM now NO Classes. This is a very packed gym. It's difficult to get a parking space it's difficult to find equipment to use, but they've canceled all group fitness classes, making it even more difficult to find space to work out. I could go on and on about all of the other faults, but this one is the straw that broke the back. ZERO EōS, your a dud. Something is always broken and takes forever to fix. The air conditioner never works properly; the lights are out, water fountains are broken, massage chairs, you name it it's broken. The gym has only been open for a year. I have no idea how many things can be in such disrepair so quickly and take so long to repair. read more

Absolutely love EOS fitness gym. Although, it can be a bit crowded on certain days. They have over 3 gyms in the Tampa surrounding area. What I love about EOS is the hot sauna, grass turfed field and fitness theatre room. I gave EOS four stars because of how crowded it can be. Don't be discouraged from all of the people. Pretty nice gym! Staff was friendly and it was easy to check in. They offer self locking lockers for your belongings, which fit a full backpack, and I used a second one for my motorcycle helmet so decent sizing. They had a good amount of amenities like a pool, towel service, I believe a sauna? And others. Their equipment was pretty new and the gym overall not only looked clean, but smelled clean too! Nobody wants to use stinky equipment. There is a cleaning station to wipe down your equipment/machine after. Honestly, I was very impressed. read more

We all know it's a battle to find a spot for this gym, and I've seen multiple employees parked in them front row seats walking in for their shift!!! All my jobs have had designated employee parking areas to give customers best availability. I agreed to a personal trained two months ago. Last week, my second trainer quit because of the large caseload given her. I have yet to hear fromEOS about replacing my trainer, and it's impossible to contact them by phone. Gym is way too crowded. Even the parking is hard to find. If you want to plan and get a good workout in during evening hours. Forget it. This place has a lot of equipment and has nice locker rooms, but once a piece of equipment opens up, someone grabs it. So, you can't come in with any sort of planned routine - the equipment probably won't be available. Trainers? Given the way I see people work out in there (or don't - instead sit on machines and read emails, I can't believe EOS has the gall to offer training services. Nice place, but too crowded. read more

What's the point of going to the gym when it's so overcrowded you can't get a workout in? It takes forever just to find parking. The locker rooms are always dirty, half the showers don't work, lockers have broken locks, the sinks barely have water coming out. The last 2 times I tried to use the hot tub, it was broken. This gym is poorly maintained and in my opinion not worth going to. read more

This gym is excellent !! I joined for the classes and they are exceptional - I especially love the Dance classes, yoga classes and body balance . Julie, Izabella & Mariana are my favorite instructors . They modify the moves to be more challenging or less challenging as needed! The energy in the classes is exceptional. They are the reason I joined the gym and many of my friends joined, too! The equipment is also high quality and in excellent condition! No shortage of squat racks or machines . read more

This gym finally opened June 28th. I've been going here for close to a month and i really like it. And yes, it's really 24/7! Parking is a pain in the neck especially since the gym is located in a plaza with other stores. I would recommend parking near Moe's rather than looking for a parking by the gym. The classes here are good, i would highly recommend Andres Body Pump, Suzanne's Pound and Brooke's Body Combat. They also have a Theater with cardio machines. Such a cool idea. So why 3 stars? Taking half star off for front desk and mainly for cleanliness of the studio. Front desk staff doesn't seem very happy to be there or they're too busy chatting with other staff. Cleanliness: This gym is only a month old and the main fitness room floors are disgusting. I noticed it after my Saturday pound class. I did let the staff know, they assured me it gets cleaned but i don't think it does. I wonder what else isn't getting cleaned :o read more

Closer to 3.5 stars. This is my new weekend/late night gym. Positives: This gym is stacked with any equipment you can imagine and state of the art equipment. There's a few machines that use a computer system instead of weights for resistance training, really cool tech. There are multiple squat racks, a TRX station, tons of cardio machines, and lots of free weights and machines. It's also one of the only 24/7 gyms around. Negatives: it's possibly too affordable, which leads to over crowding. Similar to Crunch gyms, memberships can be in the $10 dollar a month range, plus annual fees. Which is great on the surface, but working out here during the week is hectic or during peak hours. Even parking during peak hours is overwhelming. Also due to the crowds facility cleanliness is a challenge, especially the locker room areas. Impression: If you're going to use this during off peak hours, weekends, early mornings, or nights go for it. However, probably need another gym during the week for weight training. Unless you do cardio only. read more

Signed up for a free pass online. I took the tour and wanted to use the pass to try out the gym. The associate said I wasn't allowed to use the free pass unless I signed up for a membership and I had to leave. What's the point of the free pass if you don't honor it. Very poor service. read more

I have an Active and Fit membership which means I get access to thousands of gyms in the country -- Crunch and EOS being two of the main ones i frequent. I was thrilled when I noticed this EOS was opening on Dale Mabry because I love the one on Ehrlich. This facility is one floor, has a group fitness room, cardio cinema, cycling room, swimming pool, and a couple areas with some turf. I do enjoy this gym despite that it's insanely busy even at 630am when I go. I know the space used to be a grocery store so there was only so much space they could utilize, but the parking is an atrocity if you try to go around 5/6pm. There have been 2 times where I simply couldn't find a spot at all - though that's not the gym's fault. It's just a really busy plaza especially surrounding meal times. The EOS on Ehrlich has an outdoor lifting/bootcamp area that I loved, and I was disappointed when I realized there wasn't one here. But once again, they only had so much space to utilize and there are plenty of lifting platforms/ squat racks, and cardio machines. It is frustrating that one person dropping weights in the group fitness room exiled the entire member base from using the room outside of class times, but that's easily modifiable for me. All in all, it feels clean and everyone at the front desk has been kind. It's a 24/7 gym that's incredibly affordable (as low as $10 per month depending on membership) and this is will remain my regular gym for the foreseeable future! read more

I tried to get in touch with a manager through emails, phone calls, and going to the gym. Each time I was either ignored or told I needed to contact someone else. 5 emails to management have been unanswered for months and going to the location doesn't help either because the manager is "too busy" to deal with clients. I tore my ACL in may 2024 and the following month wanted to suspend my membership (black) until I was healthy enough to come back and use the gym. I called over the phone and they told me that was okay but the month after they started to direct debit my card for 45$ a month and we are in Mach of 2025. So I've been paying for a memebership I can't use and they throw me for a loop when I try and cancel. read more

So if it wasn't for the kids club I would give a rating of one and def would have stopped coming a long time ago! If it wasn't for the gym part I would give a rating of 5 just due to the kids club and the staff!! I am a member of la fitness, crunch and Eos! I've been in gyms my entire life. Here's my view as a gym enthusiast and parent!! I pay 30 a month for gym and 15 for the kids club equivalent to la but more expensive then crunch. Pros 1.) great space and plenty of equipment! 2.) everything is almost always in working orders 3.) by far the best thing going is the kids club 4.) staff is friendly and attentive 5.) plenty of classes and amenities 6.) lots of energy Cons (pretty much all negative reviews is very accurate! 1.) b4 you even walk in you have to wait up to 10 minutes for parking (I go anywhere from 9-12) 2.) always extremely packed they allow you to bring free guest which always cause an overflow of people 3.) lots of kids which means they spend up to 15 minutes using equipment don't really know what they're doing so slows the entire process down which is one of the most frustrating part if you're a serious lifter or weight trainee(not being able to get to equipment can ruin your workout) I'm not one of those people that has to do the same routine it after going to 3-4 different machines or free weight on benches etc def ruins your workout having to take all these breaks in between your workout! 4.) bathrooms always disgusting a lot of times they smell like shit 5.) the gym itself is in disarray most of the time ( weights laying everywhere dumbbells all over the place) I myself will pick up entire areas cause it's a pet pea. I wanted to be as straight forward as o can be for the real gym enthusiast because when it comes to the gym part this would be my 3rd option of my gym choices. Not with all that being said if you're a parent I move this to my first option as I have been coming here now for a little under 2 years. Why? Because I have a 2 year old little girl( she will be 2 in 2 weeks)! She has been coming here as soon as she was allowed, and I couldn't be happier. The team is lead by Riley who has been there since we started and my girl loves her and really every single person that works there! They're attention to detail, they're energy, and there positivity is amazing! The team also consists of Nickki, Megan, Jolie, and Leanna! As soon as we walk in the front desk always says hi to Sophia as well as some of the sales staff as we walk to get water! The area is huge. And all kinds of activities and areas they can play in. As you're doing cardio they have cameras so you can observe your children! I can't say enough positive things bout the kids team and the kids area! Now I pay 30 for gym and then an additional 15 for the kids club. I thought getting the top tier plan would include the kids club but it didn't. It's an additional 15! I had already done the paperwork for the top tier plan and after he informed me it was xtra I just didn't feel like redoing it so I kept it! I say this because if you don't really use the amenities it's just as easy to get the 10 plan and pay the additional 15 for the kids club. So in closing if I didn't have a child I would have cancelled after the first. Hooke of months which I almost did actually cause just the parking and the amount of people can be overwhelming to deal with, but so grateful I didn't. Cause all that is secondary to me if my child is happy and comfortable. Could be a great gym but they have a lot of kinks to work out! So, I finally walked away from my Crunch fitness. I was with crunch since 2004 so I figured it was time for a change. I first got the free week pass to try out this gym, and I finally joined online. I have mixed emotions about this gym and will decide a year from my initial sign up to see if I want to stick with them Pros: You can cancel your membership at any time. Keep in mind that after your first 30 days there is the usual one-year annual fee of $50. This is a brand-new facility, so equipment is new as well as studios, movie theater, spin room, sauna, pool, and hot tub. Wide variety of g-fit classes, with some (some not all ) good instructors. Easy app to use Con: Parking is a nightmare. Fully packed parking lot. The only time the lot is not full is on Saturday and Sunday at 5:00am. The equipment is breaking due to inconsiderate and careless members, But the problem is that the gym is not fixing the equipment. So, you will see a lot of there famous stickers. See pictures. So, when I joined, I specifically asked if we the members could use the studio when there were no classes taking place. The employee said yes. And this was true for about a month, then something happens and that is no longer the case. So, they have this beautiful equipment in the studio, but you can't use it. The gym is crowded as Fudge. Very crowded unless you go during non-peak hours. My advise is use the free week pass and check it out before joining. read more

So much staff with nobody cleaning. I don't know if management is scared to fire people for not doing their job or if they just don't care. I don't know why they offer towel service at EOs they never have them when I occasionally show up. this is such a simple problem to be fixed. Maybe store extra clean towels in a closet somewhere so when the machines out you don't have to wait. A perfect example of how they don't care to fix any of their issues. They just want a high volume of people signing up and hopefully not attending so they can continue to be billed. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I understand the gym is high-volume, but that's not a problem. If the employees are taking care of the equipment and being clean in this case they are not. they should occasionally play on the speakers a reminder to clean equipment, because out of 200 people just me and one other person was cleaning stuff . read more

I got a membership and the exciting thing about this place is that it is 24 hrs and the biggest selling point and I was sold that I can use the Aerobic room 24/7 when there is not a class! Now they changed their policy after promising and selling me on this! I got a lot of my girlfriends to also change their gyms and we love the use this place and we all love to use the Aerobic room in the off hours. I think we will have pull out, as this is breach of our agreement for use! They stated someone slammed weights and damaged the floor! Why not lock up the weights and put sign up. Why punish those you've sold, and those who've moved memberships over to join. This has happened in the first 30 days of my membership and now I've also incurred their annual fee also. Again this is wrong. They should refund my money! They failed to fulfill what they sold and communicated to the public! I can't any longer recommend this Gym! Update to EŌS Aaron: Then you should refund your customers whom just started their club fee and membership moneys back, as you sold something your can't deliver! You are in breach of what you sold. As you promised one thing and did another! I got my membership specifically to be able to use the aerobic rooms during the off time. So did several of our friends.
