Staff took forever to get one of my guest in longer a 30 minute wait and on top of that they asked for my ID to verify

I'm someone who converted from Planet Fitness after being with them for 4 years on and off, and I'm glad I chose EōS. I dreaded hearing that parking was awful, but so far, the only place that was bad was Whittier. Hawaiian Gardens and Fullerton always has spots. On a whim, I decided to sign up for a personal trainer. I think the design is a lot more sophisticated than other gyms I've visited like LA/Esporta, 24, Crunch, etc. I realized that maybe I should have researched the Lux locations first. The biggest difference I noticed between EōS and the others is that it's super crowded to the point and it gets really muggy. Maybe it's popular or I'm just out of shape, but it feels like lukewarm sauna room temperature at times. I wish they would blast the overhead fans or install some air purifiers in there. Apart from that, their amenities are pretty neat. Unlike Planet, you don't have to talk to an employee or reserve a time. The group classes, towel service (extra), and the pool are also cool things they offer. It feels more advanced in some ways because they have the cryotherapy, massage chairs, and the theater. I would highly suggest scrutinizing the contract, but it is mostly worth the price. I love my trainer (Diana!) so far, and I feel like it's definitely helped me with gym anxiety.

This club opened almost a year late, and now they're setting the daycare after only being opened for a few years. For more personal training? Multiple parents reached out to this company with no response and also had left reviews with no response. They do not value the working parent that pays their money for their kids to come to the daycare so I will not be recommending anyone here and canceling the membership this month. They expect families to travel 45+ minutes out of their way to their other locations that have a daycare. Plus these girls are so good with all the kids should've kept some type of family value to their club. They are also promoting getting a plushy for a good review on yelp so if you see any reviews that are good, most likely bribed for a T-shirt or some type of something. They are looking just to accommodate single people and high schoolers so a lot of the people that come here to work out, but also check out People another reason why it's so packed. On another note, if you're thinking about getting a gym membership, parking is always bad., always packed, Massage chairs are always broken.

EoS-Whittier is my home gym during the work week. After trying out several different EoS locations, this is definitely 1 of 2 of my favorites. The facility is clean, love the machines & amenities available, and staff are nice (most of them). I don't normally go here on Sundays. There aren't as many people on Sundays as there are during weekdays. Weekdays, it gets pretty busy. The wipes dispenser by the leg extension machine is still broken before I went on vacation, it'd be nice if that got fixed. There's day care but take note that they are CLOSED on Sundays!! There's a pool & jacuzzi as well as a dry sauna which is super relaxing after a great workout (love this). There's also a basketball court (an amenity other EoS locations do not have). Idc about the 2.5 stars. If y'all been to the other locations, you'd absolutely appreciate this one!! Overall, I love this location. Brought my hubby here today and he agrees it's one of the nicer EoS locations. Our favorite activity together is to work out at the gym (which ended up being a 3 hour gym workout lol)!!

The 5 am workout class works best with my work schedule but I love the flexibility this gym provides by giving me access to the rest the of the gym while the next workout class starts up. At 56 years old, I wanted to avoid injury & additional aches & pains to my joints (which were brought on by running Marathons). I made it a priority to focus on body form & flexibility. At 5 or 6 weeks in, I started adding weights to the workout & I'm loving the results. I'm slowly & cautiously adding weights as time goes on & I'm learning to trust the process as I see the transformation & sculpting my body is taking on. Part of the process is changing my habits to make consistency part of my health journey & TRUSTING-the-PROCESS. The absolute BEST thing about this gym is the GOAT, Coach Juden. She is very knowledgeable, understanding, & supportive without sounding like a drill Sargent (though, I'm sure she can pile it on if that is your style). The energy at this gym is always positive, which influences my day to stay on the positive side. I love their weekly focus schedule. Take a look, I attached a photo.

If you're looking for good vibes, good music, and great dance classes/strength training classes, COME HERE! You can drop in for a class or you can buy a punch card for 10 classes. They take cash and Zelle (since I've been there, they might have other payment options), but their dance instructors are phenomenal, and the strength training instructors are also amazing. The owners (Patty & Adrian) are there working hard to make sure their location continues growing and thriving, and they are the most motivating, caring people you could ask for in a fitness environment (no matter how much I griped about another rep or pushing myself lol). My only complaint is that they are not located closer to where I live so that I can continue working out at their amazing studio! Otherwise, they are very much involved in the community and will even host fundraising events and holiday-themed classes. I strongly recommend you check them out on Instagram or TikTok for their most current schedules and classes -- they respond quickly and will also happily provide information to you if you need more info. Their work ethics and personalities are, in my opinion, some of the best in the industry. I had a wonderful experience at this location when I enrolled my son to learn karate, and I want to share my thoughts. Firstly, I was impressed by the school's approach to new students. They let my son train on the mat with one of the senseis before signing up and committing to payment. This was a great way to ensure that my son was comfortable with the program. Sensei Berj, in particular, was kind and explained the different entry packages and pricing options to us before we made a decision. I also appreciated how the school assigns kids to groups with equal belt levels. This made it easier for my son to adjust and get comfortable with the program. The instructors not only teach karate but also instill values such as respect, kindness, and responsibility in the students. They go above and beyond to create a positive environment for everyone. In conclusion, I can honestly say that this dojo is fantastic, and I could write a 5-page essay on how great it is. If you're reading OTF reviews you're probably considering joining…read moreand contemplating various fitness formats/gyms etc. You've probably viewed some YouTube videos on how the classes work but essentially at this location you have the following formats - 2G, 3G, Tread 50, Strength 50, and I believe like a lot of OTFs trialing Hyrox format. How it works is you sign up for class on their app. Show up. Eat a bunch of free mints. select a station # on the treadmill or rower (2G) or treadmill or rower or weight floor (3G). If you're in a 2G class you're on treadmill for 23 minutes and weights 23 minutes. If you're in a 3G class you're on treadmill for 14 mins, rower 14 mins, and weights 14 mins. Tread 50 you're on the treadmill whole class (approx 40 mins) Strength 50 you're on the weight floor (approx 40 mins) the whole class. The coaches are there to direct the flow and keep you motivated throughout. Everything is tailored to your abilities and injuries. You can walk, jog, run, haul ass on the treadmills. It is a workout for all ages and abilities. Everyone is kind and welcoming from the members to the coaches. I think the most difficult thing will be taking the first step to give it a shot and then to come back. But if you're reading this then you've made the first step in wanting to change some aspect of your life. Now what you need to do is take the free intro class to get a sense of the place. But 1 class is unlikely to give you the full picture of what OTF can become for you. You need to come back and take those baby steps towards changing your habits. It's never easy starting a new thing. But you need to just show up. Even if you just walk on the treadmills or row casually or do body weight training - just show up. Commit to it. Give it a month before you decide. That's the hardest part. Stop making excuses or pushing it off. You have 1 body and 1 life to live so make it the best life. Ignore the naysayers the negativity and take a step towards change. Don't live with regrets and don't let life pass you by. Shout out to the very sweet, kind, and most important fun OTF crew: Hitch,Rocco, Sarah, Meg, Ray, Hannah, Tiffany, Sareena, Carson, Dakota, Alyssa, Alexa, Kamila,Savanah, Jake, Maddy.
