This is our second year doing the Santa experience at f/8 and I cannot recommend it enough. Last year our son was 5 months and they were so good with him and this year even though he was in full Mommy ONLY mode they still captured wonderful pictures and made it a great experience for our whole family. Our daughter is 4 this year and it was truly a magical experience for her. Last year we loved the pictures so much we did our son's cake smash and some family portraits with them as well this summer and again it was wonderful. If you're debating at all, do it! read more

The BEST Santa experience EVER!! Our family of 5 just had our mini session yesterday and we were warmly greeted at the entrance to the outdoor setup. There were multiple scenes for pictures. We started out with family photos at the red bench with a mistletoe hanging overhead, then moved over to kid photos with a life-sized Blitzen reindeer and sleigh and lastly the highlight of the experience with Santa himself sitting in a well-decorated cozy living room. My 2-year old was cleverly placed in a vintage fire truck that she got to steer and play with while her brother and sister had a nice, long chat with Santa. OMG, that Santa's got jokes...he had me in stitches the whole time! The kids were beaming when they saw their names on Santa's "nice" list (very nice touch). We ended the session with the 2-year old sitting on Santa's lap for the obligatory crying shot...priceless! I felt so bad because we had arrived late to our session, but I never felt rushed the entire time we were there. This is the beginning of the end for mall Santas for me where they've seen countless number of kids and are exhausted and us waiting in the long lines with anxious kids and a cranky husband. The kids couldn't stop talking about their meet and greet with this Santa the whole car ride home and even my husband commented that this is how all future photo sessions should be...quick and fun. Michael is a wizard with lighting and knows of all of the perfect places and angles at which to photograph a couple. We had the pleasure of working with Michael for both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding photos and videography. More than just a photographer, Michael is a character. He knows how to keep everybody calm and collected for their photos. I for one, have never been good at taking photos. My smile always looks forced, and I've always felt very awkward on camera. Everything about this appointment was amazing. Covid 19 almost had us miss photos with Santa this year but luckily I was able to book one of f/8 studios last available appointments. Although the pricing wasnt what youd pay at your local mall neither was the experience. My children had a snowball fight, played in snow and sang with Santa. My husband and I live in the neighborhood and saw their flyer for their monthly mini series. We had no idea what to expect when we decided to book the Krampus session. We were totally blown away. The set was decorated with so much care and detail, it was so cute. Our photographer, Josh was so sweet and patient when Krampus freaked out our dog! I met Michael and Marni at my best friend's wedding. These two are my favorite M&M's. Marni did the planning, and Michael did the photo work. Despite Michael's questionable taste in baseball teams, I become friends with them at the wedding, and was blown away by the professionalism and the end product. Since the wedding, I've done all my photography at f/8 Studios, including a maternity shoot and a newborn session. They are not only priced more than fair, but make all my friends jealous of our pictures...which is priceless. We had an appointment for a mini shoot at 9:30 am. We arrived 15 mins early. After a few mins later, a staff member came out, introduced herself and explained what was going to go on when we go inside for the photoshoot. Everything was outside. When it was our turn, we went inside and was introduced by the photographer. The photographer told us hownlong the minishoot was going to be and also we would have time for ourself to have fun and take pictures afterwards. The photographer took pictures of my daughter and also with me and my daughter. After several shoots, Santa came out and more pictures. The day was gorgeous and the staff was very nice. read more

Our photo session was fast and fun! I have two boys 4 and under and it went smoothly even when one of my kids refused a pose they quickly transitioned to another station. They had three to four different stations to take pictures. Now, the Santa experience was priceless. The look on my kids face! I can't wait for the pictures. I am very excited to see them. We recently had an Easter Bunny shoot and could not have been more thrilled with the results! It was the first real photoshoot that our "threenager" ADORED. Full hugs, tons of smiles, and even kisses for the Easter Bunny! The backdrops and overall design of the backlot space was gorgeous, so much more unique than going to a mall scenario. It's quite an overdue review, but we really loved having them for our wedding in October! Michael and Marni are really a way to go for wedding! I got a recommendation from my friend who also used their service for their wedding, and there's a good reason why most reviews are exceptionally long :) Marni came to our wedding and took photos, but we met both of them at the home studio before and after the wedding. Their service is worth two or three times more than their price! They are not only five star professionals in terms of their services, but do understand what the wedding process involves and how stressful it can be. And plus, they're a really good example of a happily married couple, so it's good for any soon-to-be-weds to visit their homes and make a deal ;). At our first meeting, I actually regretted finding them too late, as we could have also used their wedding coordination service as well but already have made a contract with other wedding coordinator when we contacted them. We were so honored to have them make lasting photos and a video of our day, and our family on both sides liked our them a lot. We thoroughly enjoyed how involved they were in our wedding process, and how they were disarming and warm on the day of our wedding. Looking for the wedding photographer is hard, but they deserve more than five stars and we highly recommend them!
