Monster storm. The blizzard of 26. woohoo! Broken auger on an Ariens snow blower. Wtf, panic sets in. We called 6 places all over 30 mile radius, No answers on some, Left messages No call backs except F & F. YES they had the part, an auger cable. I fixed the snowblower myself, Today, on a follow-up cleanup the belt started smoking. Drove right over to F & F and bought a pully and an auger belt. Impressed that they have stock of all these parts. While there and chatted with Frank. Nice guy. I see they are Husqvarna dealers and Stihl dealers with all sorts of landscape equipment good to know as there will be a spring and then summer coming before you know it. Outside were 40 fixed snowblowers waiting to be picked up. Not sure the issues people have had but hey its incredibly busy. Maybe dont wait until the last minute. All in all, this was a great find for me and saved my ass. I found my place. read more

This is an up date of an unpleasant review i left last week on this business. After I placed the review i herd from one of the owners who explained how busy they are and he's sorry they couldn't get to my snowblower quicker, but they'd do it "tomorrow" which was Monday. My experience with F&F Power Equipment has been unacceptable, and it's still not resolved. What happened (timeline): * They picked up my snowblower about a week before a major snowstorm and did not give me an ETA for repair or return. * I followed up about three weeks later (after multiple storms had already passed) asking for an update. I was told they would "try to get it done that day." That did not happen. * I went back again two weeks later -- now over a month after the initial pickup -- and asked for my snowblower to be returned. That's when they told me it hadn't even been touched. * As I'm writing this, I still do not have my snowblower back. This is not professional service. There was no timeline, no proactive communication, and no urgency, even though the pickup was right before storm season. What makes this even more concerning is that after doing some research, I saw the owner's Facebook showing heavy MAGA support, and combined with how I was treated, it raised serious concerns for me about racism/bias. As a Black customer, I shouldn't have to repeatedly chase a business down in person just to get basic answers--yet that's exactly what happened. I also wish I had read the reviews beforehand, because after looking into them, my experience lines up with the same patterns other customers describe: poor communication, long delays, and customers having to show up in person just to get answers. Unfortunately, this seems to be how they operate. Bottom line: I do not recommend this shop. Based on my experience, minority customers should be cautious--you may be ignored, forced to show up in person, and left without your equipment for weeks with no accountability. read more

this guy got me to drive an hour for a good deal. i got there and he was out of stock. sold me a similar model for $50 more than planned. Unit had a small issue two months later. i was told i had a warranty... i called, texted, and emailed about 15 times over 3 weeks to finally get this answer: "take it back where you bought it from, we aren't working on blowers right now" except i bought it from them!!!! i told owner i would leave an honest review and wiling to edit when they fix my issue and he threated to have his family and friends leave bad reviews back on my company (which i dont have)... absolutely crazy and unprofessional **im happy to edit this review when my issue is successfully fixed read more

Drop off my chainsaw to have the chain blade replaced. I've called 5 times getting the same 'Leave a message'. Leave a message and they seem to know when I'm not near or have my cell phone with me. They never leave a detailed message about the chainsaw as I asked them too. We'll see if they sent a Text Msg as my last call has asked. At this point they only get a 2 star. 1)Tripling the cost of the parts. 2)normal labor stated 228.00 an hour and you charge 313.00 for labor. Didn't call to give me an estimate which I requested as to the potential cost. F&F just went ahead and repaired my lawn mower then called me the next day with a $524.35 bill. I go to the Shop and the mechanic is the only one there and says he doesn't set the final cost and said he will have the owner call me which I'm still waiting.Your business will never get mine again and I will make it a point to inform anyone looking for small engine repair to take their project elsewhere. read more

Their business practice appears similar to a spiders web, that is, they tell you they can help, they pick up snowblower and then they take control. The business did not answer periodic instant messages or phone calls (carefully/politely asking for status) during the ~2 1/2 weeks they had snowblower. I requested a quote prior to start of any work. No return call or quote was ever provided , but Finally received snowblower back after ~2 1/2 weeks and payment. I'm hoping the simple repair completed lasts longer than a year , if not , I plan to look for another business. I should add that the young man who picked up and returned snowblower was professional and courteous. read more

Terrible customer service. After getting my snowblower picked up, snow storms came and went with no news or updates. Phone calls, text messages, and emails went unanswered. Only way to get ahold of them is to physically go to their shop. Went to their shop and was told "we'll get it back to you tomorrow." More weeks go by, go back to the shop to see what the hold up is and was told "sorry you slipped through the cracks." Pitiful customer service. Take your business elsewhere. No integrity whatsoever. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Dropped off my mower 3 weeks ago for oil change at F and F power supply. After not hearing anything for a week I called and got a curt " we haven't touched it yet" . That's fine. A week later I call and still not done. After my call they must realize I had been forgotten because they call later that it's done. When picked up. My bill is 300 dollars!! They never called me for all the extra work authorization, told my husband after he remarked about the invoice that new mowers cost more. They rebuilt my carburetor which was not needed. Shocked that there was still grass underneath and they never sharpened my blade!! When I just called to speak to someone the rude man said "your mowers not done we'll call you when it's ready" when I asked that he stop talking over me so I could tell him I already had my mower, he hung up on me The owner finally calls me and says if I return the parts he'll reimburse me. DO NOT USE THEM TO FIX ANYTHING. I dropped off my snowblower last year to fix the carburetor. They charged me over 300 bucks. Whatever it is what it is. Got the machine back late in the season and just decided to store it with no gas in there so problem didnt happen again. Fast forward to this recent big storm I go to pull it out and it doesn't start. Call then to come pick it up and they wanna charge me ANOTHER 360 bucks. I tried explaining that they didn't even fix the first issue but the girl who answered the phone just tried to keep talking in circles. She tells me the owner is gonna call me back and then hangs up on me. Terrible customer service. It's shameful actually. read more

We had lost power for 3 days and our 2 year old Generac generator. stopped working just as the power came back on. Rather than spending time on it I decided to bring it to someone to fix a week later. I used to use Canton Power equipment and the owner had a solid reputation so I decided on F & F power equipment in Canton. The drop off and the service was great. I got a call an hour later saying all it needed was an oil change and it was ready. Is $254 for the oil change and extra spark plug the new normal? Just wondering? read more

I do not recommend F & F Power equipment. Their receptionist is rude for one. I bought a lawnmower there did get all the parts with it went back to find the parts the mechanic that was there was working on a weed whacker at the time I arrived. He got so aggravated when asked for his help he picked up the weed whacker he was working on and threw it across the room, glad that wasn't mine. Also they are way over priced on their labor charge for repairs instead of calling you and telling you the outrageous amount they just go ahead and do it......DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE....I recommend Norwood equipment for any repairs you may have. Also I called to complain, the girl that answered the phone after hearing my compliant ended our conversation with to many f bombs i can mention....Very nice way to deal with an unsatisfied customer......F...BOMBS and then hanging up on the customer. read more

I recently had 2 snowblowers picked up by F&F power equipment right after both of them died out on me after we just got hit with a Nor'easter. The girl who answered the phone was very helpful and scheduled to have them picked up right away and I was also very impressed with the fast turn around time for both of my pieces. After doing some last-minute research for a local, small engine maintenance company, F&F came up multiple times as the place to go. I now completely understand why. They were absolutely fantastic in getting my Ariens snowblower serviced. They took apart and cleaned the carburetor and also flushed the fuel tank so I could now use Ethanol-free gas to try to minimize the impact of having the machine sit around un-used for months at a time. Communication was a breeze and the pick-up and drop off couldn't have been easier. Pricing was terrible. Couldn't have asked for better service and will only be going there moving forward for anything relating to my snowblower. read more

DON'T GO TO F&F POWER EQUIPMENT IN CANTON. I dropped off my lawn mower to get the belt fixed. Once I picked it back up the belt fell off as soon as I took it off the trailer. I dropped it back off thinking it would be a fast easy fix. They took over 2 weeks to fix it. Being very rude in the meantime, yelling, like fixing my mower was the worst thing. Once I got it back the second time, the belt once again broke right away. They refuse to speak to us or refund. I called and she off the bat started screaming, told me to come in to speak so I did. Again started yelling and screaming right away telling us to get out of the shop and we won't be refunded. I was charged $400 for a broken lawnmower. This is no way a business should be speaking to customers in that manner. The women owner called me a "c***". And the other owner came in, said to my husband "I'm not talking to this guy he's a clown." It is disgusting how these owners handle their business. read more

My family had an awful experience with F&F. I will never go back. What happened is we dropped off our snowblower. They said they didn't have time to look at it then so we left it and asked them to call us back with a quote when they had time. We called back in a week and they said they still didn't have time to look at it. Then we call back a few days later and they say they fixed it. Without every giving us the quote. The price ends up being extremely high. So I got a list of what they did and called a few other places. They over charged us at least double!!! So I stopped by F&F to reason with Jeff (the owner). He wasn't there and the guy at the shop said it's up to Jeff. So I left my number and a message. I also called three more times. Left messages with staff and on voicemail. And I sent three emails. The owner never called me back or replied. They can charge me double the price of what other people quote but can't event get on the phone to tell me why? I recommend avoiding this place because if you have issues with your order, you'll never get an answer. A place that I called that gave me a quote that was more than half of what F&F charged me was B&G Power Equipment in Walpole. read more

They picked up 3 pieces of equipment including a sno-thrower in the middle of December on the same day they called (Friday). July 25th I decided to stop in he said he ordered the parts needed. The owner and coworkers have always been very professional and polite. my wife goes in on occasion to pick up parts. Terrible repair and service experience. I brought my Husqvarna 450 chainsaw in for diagnosis and repair after it suddenly started running very roughly. They replaced a few minor parts and "tuned it up", but the work was not effective and the chainsaw ran no better. Brought it back to the twice, and they got it started in their parking lot using - literally - fancy footwork. On the third return visit he refused to do any further work on it - with a grin on his face! - and refused to refund the $150 "repair." So I took the chainsaw to an Husqvarna dealer, and they diagnosed the problem as a hole in the cylinder - with an estimate of repair of $350 - close to the cost of a new chainsaw. If F&F did a correct diagnosis I probably would have bought the new chainsaw from them. Basically I wasted $150 and a lot of time. read more

I called to have my John Deere riding mower repaired. They came out and picked it up quickly. I told them there was no rush, but they gave me a price within a couple of days. There were a lot of problems with the mower because it had been sitting for 2 years. It was an expensive job, and I was a little nervous about trusting them to do it because I had never done business with them before. I decided to go for it, and I'm so glad I did! I purchased a new Ariens platinum 24 March 2018. Got to use it for less than 30 minutes. January of 2019 used it for the next couple of months with a small problem with the chute. Brought back to the shop at the beginning of April. I was told it will be ready in a couple of weeks. I stopped by to pick it up and was told it needed a part which he would order, this was on a Thursday. Said it would be ready the following Wednesday. Went to pick it up still not ready. Call two weeks latter and spoke to someone different . He answered with what's the rush we are working on lawn mowers. I got tired of waiting.
