Our car would not accelerate, slowly gets a loss of power, smoke coming from dip stick when removed. F&F told us it was a converter (3) (basically whole exhaust) the oxygen sensors, and the coil. (im thankful for their estimate) They wanted $5,000 dollars!!!!!! (probably cause it was towed there) We paid the 2 hours labor for their (free) estimate, IN THEIR PARKING LOT I REPLACED THE COIL IN 15 MIN, the car ran better, and we are having the whole exhaust system replaced down the street for $1,000 This is the problem of greed, stupidity and pure evil. Stealing from those who are in need. Their sign says "autism speaks, its time to listen" it should read, "we will speak, and like Rain Man, we will rip you off for millions". read more

Wow. I went to this location ten or fifteen yrs ago. Very poor service then. It seems they have stayed bad at customer service.

Quoted me at one price then charged me more than double without even calling to tell me there was more work needing to be done.

owner was a jerk. Simple job...change one damaged tire and rotate all 4. They forgot to rotate till i reminded them. owner was very rude and not very helpful with my tire insurance claim. I will never go back. read more

On Monday November 12 I woke up to a flat tire I took my car in to F and F Tire World at 520 Logan Ave Belvidere IL to have the tire looked at. Lee the store manager told me that the tire could not be replaced and that my tires were bald. I ended up financing $890 for new tires, I asked them if they also did oil changes and he said yes. He said he would throw in the oil change for free with the new tires and the alignment. I left the shop and noticed that my Oil indicator had not been reset but I didn't think anything of it. On my way home from work the next day my Engine. I heard a few clanks a thud and the car turned off I called my husband and when he arrived he checked the oil and there was no oil in my car. In my trusting mind I thought they would take responsibility so I had the car dropped off at their shop and called lee in the morning. I told him we checked the oil and there was none. He stated he would check in and never called me back. I called him a few hours later and he said that the engine had blown and that this sometime just happens. He then proceeded to tell me forcefully that there was oil in the engine and that they did nothing wrong. That he had spoken to his corporate office and there was nothing they did wrong. I am out $890 for tires I don't need and $330 for tow to Tito's in Chicago were they confirmed that the engine was blown and possibly due to no oil. i wish there was a negative on the review but I just called the belvidere store they were kinda rude because i didnt but the tires from them but wanted 25.00 to swap out each tire for my camper (OUTRAGES) no wonder they don't keep customers I WILL NOT NOR WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM I will go to the little shop 2 blocks away read more
