I asked them about it, they stated they did nothing but the repairs i asked for. I took it to another mechanic, and they showed me that whomever worked on the vehicle broke some things under the hood! They wouldn't own up to what they did, gave me a bad catalytic converter, and i had to pay for another one. I unfortunately had to bring my car back because if the warranty, and the check engine light coming back on because of it, and when i got my car back, my car was shaking ahain and it was not shaking initially. These guys have no idea what they are doing, dont take accountability, fast talk to try to grt you to believe that they didnt mess up. Stay away!!!!!

All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. They are professional, keep you informed every step of the way, do great work, for a fair price, stand behind their work, and most of all are honest. I have spoken with the owner more than once, as it is family owned, and he is usually there. But one time that I spoke with him that stood out to me that they were different. My stepson's power steering stopped working. I called and I was about to have it towed in as it was parked at a restaurant. The owner got on the phone with me and asked me what year and model the car was. I told him, he asked me if the car had driven through any heavy puddles. I told him it had been raining, so I assumed so. He told me that model is notorious for the sensors getting wet and causing issues with the rack and pinion steering. He said, let it sit for a couple hours and dry out a bit. It should resolve the problem, and it did. He didn't have to tell me that. He could've let me have it towed in and just let it sit and dry and tell me he fixed it and taken me for a ride, but he didn't. That's honesty. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and to anyone else who reads this review.

He advised me to get something else fixed as soon as I can, but told me it wasn't necessary to get me home to New Orleans. Sure, I could've done the repair myself, but where was I gonna find parts and tools out here? I would much rather pay Ron to take care of me in his town. I am so grateful for Ron getting me back on the road quickly. I highly recommend him!
