I usually take my car to Ft Washington BMW. However, the prices for repairs are insane!! A good friend of mine's son has this location, and he recommended them. I dropped by and told him what I needed, and he made me an appointment that was sooner rather than later. The day of my appointment, I was greeted by Cecelia, who showed me around the waiting area. My car was taken back to the service area. The waiting area, while nice, needed a very deep cleaning. You could tell by all the dust that it had not been cleaned in some time. I suggest sanitizing wipes be placed in the area so clients can wipe the remotes off and any high touch area. Once my car was done, Jristo came out t9 discuss what my car needed and answered any questions I had. Checkout was quick and easy. In 2011, right after sending in my 60th payment, I needed a new engine in my 325i. At this time, I was dealing with the dealership. They said that I could get a new engine for $8,000 or a used one for $6,000. Unfortunately, those were my only two options. I did not have $8,000 just laying around. I had to trade in my car for another BMW. Autobahn was recommended to me by an acquaintance after he heard that story. I am so thankful that he did! I have been going to Autobahn for 6 years now. Before autobahn I went to one of the best Indy BMW shops in the world that happen to be in Philadelphia. Their shop waiting area was garbage and their customer service was HORRENDOUS! Although I was supposed to make an appointment, they squeezed me in to make sure that my ride was not going to blow up. No charge for the checkup and they set me up to come back for further diagnostics. Turns out that my year and model has a manufacturer defect that couldn't be fixed and is the current subject of a class action lawsuit. Mechanic took the time to explain everything to me and direct me to the local dealership. Again, no charge. Last year I had issue with emissions and I had asked them what it would cost for them to diagnose the problem. They actually said they dont have a lot of experience in doing that for my type of car and for them to diagnose it would cost me more than it should. They reccommened another mechanic in the area and I was so surprised with their honesty! Also they quoted me the wrong price for my inspection and when it was more than I planned on and I explained that to them they gave me the price I was quoted.
