I usually take my car to Ft Washington BMW. However, the prices for repairs are insane!! A good friend of mine's son has this location, and he recommended them. I dropped by and told him what I needed, and he made me an appointment that was sooner rather than later. The day of my appointment, I was greeted by Cecelia, who showed me around the waiting area. My car was taken back to the service area. The waiting area, while nice, needed a very deep cleaning. You could tell by all the dust that it had not been cleaned in some time. I suggest sanitizing wipes be placed in the area so clients can wipe the remotes off and any high touch area. Once my car was done, Jristo came out t9 discuss what my car needed and answered any questions I had. Checkout was quick and easy. I love the quick appointment scheduling slots, not to mention their prices. They honor extended warranties. They are customer focused. Theu have a drop box if you are leaving your car after hours. This is the best HighEnd German Auto Repair Shop. I work out of state and other places aren't flexible or anything, especially when it comes to buying your own parts. I needed my Porsche Panamera fixed because the suspension wasn't working I didn't have an appointment and George said he would still be able to look at it. We get our inspection, alignment, oil change, bodywork, and everything you think of done here with 100% satisfaction. They do dealership level work at non-dealership level prices. Another plus is that they have an Audi certified mechanic named Steve. The thing I love about George, Chris, and his team is how honest they are. It's pretty common and easy in the auto industry to make up fake issues about your car to run up a bill but these guys are the opposite of that. They tell you up front what the problem is and the best way for you to save money. Everyone is also very friendly and helpful in explaining and diagnosing issues with your vehicle. In 2011, right after sending in my 60th payment, I needed a new engine in my 325i. At this time, I was dealing with the dealership. They said that I could get a new engine for $8,000 or a used one for $6,000. Unfortunately, those were my only two options. I did not have $8,000 just laying around. I had to trade in my car for another BMW. Autobahn was recommended to me by an acquaintance after he heard that story. I am so thankful that he did! I have been going to Autobahn for 6 years now. Before autobahn I went to one of the best Indy BMW shops in the world that happen to be in Philadelphia. Their shop waiting area was garbage and their customer service was HORRENDOUS! Even when spending over $2K with them. their work was great. But everything else horrible! I find out about autobahn motorsports. Couldn't be happier. Very nice shop and waiting area! Very nice staff, straight forward NO BULLSHIT shop. Their mechanics know what their doing, I had a head gasket changed, every bolt torqued to spec And not one hiccup after it was changed at autobahn motorsports. Worth every penny. Fair priced. Although I was supposed to make an appointment, they squeezed me in to make sure that my ride was not going to blow up. No charge for the checkup and they set me up to come back for further diagnostics. Turns out that my year and model has a manufacturer defect that couldn't be fixed and is the current subject of a class action lawsuit. Mechanic took the time to explain everything to me and direct me to the local dealership. Again, no charge. Mysteriously they may have shutoff or fixed the washer fluid warning light damaged by RainX. They did not charge for or mention that repair, perhaps a coincidence but they get the credit. Last year I had issue with emissions and I had asked them what it would cost for them to diagnose the problem. They actually said they dont have a lot of experience in doing that for my type of car and for them to diagnose it would cost me more than it should. They reccommened another mechanic in the area and I was so surprised with their honesty! Also they quoted me the wrong price for my inspection and when it was more than I planned on and I explained that to them they gave me the price I was quoted.
