Each session offers different workouts (strength, cardio, etc.). You get mini water break's depending on the workout session. Try taking advantage of any break because you will need it. I try to go at least 2 times out of the week on my lunch break. It's the perfect midday workout. I feel so charged up for the rest of the day. All of the trainers are great especially Kelly, Lindsey, David and Alfred (I haven't worked with any other trainers). If you're looking for a full body workout and results be sure to check out F45.

After the class had started they let late people in who were over 5 minutes late and I wasn't able to take the class, which is fair enough...However I then had booked a class, couldnt find parking and was 2 minutes late for the class (their is a 5 minute grace period) I was told I couldnt take the class because they gave it to someone on the waitlist. But when I was the waitlist, the same did not occur. Then today I went to take my 9:15 class. I guess I had a $15 fee for missing a class, (My kid had been sick and they have a 12 hour cancellation policy) I keep a limited credit card on file there as one time I got a fraudulent charge for $125 from a meter outside their facility. So I offered to pay with Apple pay (which they take) But I was told they cant take the apple pay and I would need to go home and get my waller otherwise I couldnt take the class, I had already paid for. If I went home, I would have missed half the class. The gentlemen also said to me " We need a card on file. I explained that I can pay the card down when I get home and he said and I quote " This can't keep happening, this is how we run our business" But this had never happened before, I have had fees in the past, and they have always been paid. Its a shame as I mentioned because some of the teachers are awesome but theier rules are inconsistent at best and the delivery is rude and untruthful. I have had many memberships over the years and never have i had such inconsistent policies. I wont be going back again which is a shame.

Such a good burn and sweat, and she doesn't make her classes unnecessarily over complicated. There is a parking lot but it's quite tight and limited, so I would get there early. Easy metered parking right next to the lot if you can't get a spot. There is a shower as well with basic amenities.

Many of the staff and members have been here for a long time and it is nice to be greeted by familiar faces when coming to the club. The restaurants are pretty decent. Love to top my salad with a nice piece of salmon after workout at the Famous Players or have a tasty glass of scotch while enjoying the live jazz performance at the Invention. The sports bar Duke's has great happy hours and fun monthly evening karaoke or chess club meetings. The only thing I complain about is the need for shock absorbance and insulation of the noise or moving the weight station. The northwest corner of the Famous Players near Olive Street shakes every time the weightlifters drop their weights, which is very annoying and distracting for the diners. Feel like the ceiling or floor is going to drop out. No joke. For now, I would sit as far away from the northwest corner as I possibly can. But hope the club would look into it. I have been trying to sign up for the monthly wine tasting but they are always full. Maybe consider having the event more frequently or scale up? Regardless, I am still exploring all the new offerings at the club and really pleased with the Pilates classes and the live music performances. Although I am apprehensive when I first see the co-working space and the influx of new members, I now appreciate the additional events and classes that come with the new members and hope the club continues to do well and do better as I am here to stay.

The lap pool was my favorite part - clean and calm. There was some miscommunication between the lobby and the store, as one said there is no reservation system but there in fact was. But even when told all the lanes were fully reserved, more than half weren't in use. Parking is a bit of a hassle; for non-members it's definitely not worth it. At the time of visit, the parking machine wasn't working. There are also sperate elevators for parking vs the athletic club / hotel area which was a little confusing. The stair numbers also didn't coordinate the best with actual level.

In the beginning Steve was very friendly and none stop communication until I decided to try his gym. Prior to signing up, I discussed that I wanted to train 4x a week with him before he passes me on to other people. So I signed up and paid $1200 ( waste of money) thinking i would train 4x as week with him. The next day I showed up Steve was there and no communication of who I was meeting, I ended up training with a 22 years "actor" who has zero interest in my fitness goals, but just there to do the job. It was impossible to train with anyone as everyone was busy with their clients and such. I didn't even get to use my 16 sessions leaving me owed 5. It was literally a scam of $1200 for believing him. And after that first initial meeting, I never heard from him or saw him. But he happened to be on Grindr recruiting next victims. Be careful when you signed up and never believe their 4 star reviews as it is shit show in there. He tent to hire "actors and artists who has zero experience in training but happened to use them and it's really sad. Don't believe me. I have receipts .

But we spent alittle over $300 there on everything! There is a $35 or $45 entrance fee depending on when you come. It's just to come inside the lagoon. If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion.

My younger son joined not knowing anyone and felt welcomed almost immediately. Both of my boys felt included from day one. The staff is incredibly caring, supportive, and attentive. You can truly feel that they work hard to create a safe, joyful environment for the kids, and as a parent that means everything. The activities are fantastic: well planned, age appropriate, engaging, and fun. The natural setting is also beautiful and feels especially important these days. My boys came home with confidence, stories, friendships, and summer memories they will cherish forever. And the camp spirit is real. We still sing the silly songs at home, especially the announcements song whenever we have a family announcement, and the birthday song too. I cannot recommend Cali Camp enough. It has been such a special part of our family's life.

This is by far the best workout class I've ever done. The atmosphere, incredible surrounding, and teamwork exhibited are truly unlike any other fitness class I've ever found. I tried the week trial (which is only $12 freakin dollars) and after just one class I was hooked, and have had my husband and so many friends join who love it and feel the same. I love the diversity in the classes each day, ranging from cardio and resistance to weight training, there's literally something for everyone, regardless of your athleticism. The owners Bobby and Paul are SO welcoming and just make you want to work hard and achieve your goals, sweat it out and have an awesome time in those 45 minutes. I moved to Arts District DTLA a few months ago from Torrance. After trying out a few gyms in DTLA I was not really happy with them. A friend of mine recommended F45! After trying out the 1 week trial, I was hooked! All the classes were challenging and exactly what I needed! The intensity of the classes helped me burn twice as many calories I was burning in previous gyms. All the trainers at this location are amazing! Fun, challenging and engaging workouts that keep you coming back time and time again. My fitness level has soared over the last nine months, and it's all thanks to the F45 Arts District community and trainers. This has by far been only of the best thing i've done since i moved to Los Angeles, apart from school. My day doesn't start till i have been to the gym for a great workout. I was sooooo intimidated walking in…read more However, all the staff from front desk, co-owner to coach Adrian leading the class were welcoming and friendly. Coach Adrian had a mixed group of more expert/amateur boxers with me and my partner as beginners. However, he made sure to give us individual feedback and drills that matched our skill level. BUT Coach Adrian didn't hesitate to push us at the punching bag either. He also made sure I had the right form when I was slacking/getting tired but in a nice way =) haha. You know what I mean if u have been to gyms with not so friendly instructors. What sets Forj apart, they train everyone whether u are there for just a workout or to fight competitively - the same. This means u are learning the same core skills and principles for footwork and movement as everyone else. For those just looking for a great workout - this means u get a better workout since u are doing it right. I appreciated this. I could tell the difference between this class versus a boxing class from a standard gym. I can see how classes like this can be a gateway to training to compete, it was fun. My body is sore, but in a great way. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Forj!

For my workout, I was the only one there--that's how they do it. It makes it such a personally tailored experience. They have a secret sauce that has changed every strength-training workout since.
