Shes built such a positive culture where people cheer each other on, celebrate wins (big and small), and genuinely want to see each other succeed. It feels like a community, not just a gym. Working with her has been one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. She has pushed me in ways I didn't know I needed, but always with compassion, encouragement, and deep understanding. She pays attention to form, mindset, and personal goals. My confidence has grown so much over the past year. I feel stronger, more capable and doubt myself far less then I did before in many ways. If you're looking for a trainer who truly cares, knows her stuff, and a gym that feels fun and motivating then you found it. Highly, highly recommend!

She will push you harder than you have ever been pushed and she believes in you even when you don't believe in yourself. If you are looking for a personal trainer, I cannot recommend her enough. Whether you have been working out for years or you are new, she welcomes all with open arms. She focuses on each individuals goals and caters your training with your specific goal in mind. I began in July and Lindsey and the community in this gym have truly changed my life and pushed me to be more confident in my skin, believe in myself more and have taught me that I am so much stronger and capable than I think I am. She creates long lasting healthy habits that are realistic. She truly cares so much about the people that enter her gym and you become apart of the Underground Fitness family. I'm so happy I found this community. I couldn't recommend a better gym to start your personal training journey!!!

Her classes have truly changed my life. I actually look forward to going--it's become my safe place and my strong place. Dafna is absolutely meant to be a yoga teacher. She's kind, gentle, and knows exactly how to push you in the best way. You can tell she's incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares. I'm so grateful to have found this space--it's given me an escape I didn't even realize I needed. I feel stronger, and I can both see and feel the difference. If you're even slightly hesitant to try this studio, just go. I promise you won't regret it. Thank you, Dafna

I had been looking for Spartan prep classes and had heard all over Facebook groups that this NXPT…read moreis the place to go for this type of training classes. It's a little far from me in the South Bay but I knew I had to try it. For parking, the lot is shared with other businesses so when I got there, it was full and parked in the lot down the street. I wouldn't suggest to park in front of the NXPT if it's the games classes since we're using wall balls near cars. When I found the class on classpass for Wednesday night, the name of it was a little confusing because it said "OCR/Games/Hyrox/Deka" so I didn't really know what that meant until I showed up to the class to learn that depending on when the next event is, that is the type of training they're doing. So my class focused on the Hyrox because the Anaheim event is in five weeks. Hannibal is the trainer and he was friendly with a quick introduction and had to jump on a call before class started. I asked around to sign the waiver and got someone to help me. I wanted to make sure that didn't slow me down starting the class on time. Thankfully I do strength training and hot yoga outside of this class so I felt I could keep up but having been to new classes before, they seem to take care of newbies with just a few more instructions. I ended up figuring it out and maybe the style of this gym is no hand holding but I ended up asking other attendees in the class about the structure. Most of the moves in this class were standard but when it came to Sled, I wasn't sure in my form. I'd suggest when they get newbies in these games classes to ask them if they've done anything like this before and if not, show them the proper technique of the moves. That helps in the actual events since form matters and also prevents injuries. Overall, it was a good experience and I'll be back!

I enjoy the structure of the class and that coaches will demonstrate alternative exercises. The gym itself is clean and everyone does their part to keep it that way. I didn't know if I would like the whole group workout or partner but I've grown to like it. One of the perks is their water dispenser always so clean and cold at the end of a workout. Another cool feature is the performance 360 application where I can track my weight count per exercise and reps and for being only 1 month I am seeing some progress and also better energy levels. So to me it has been worth the investment I will continue to attend Try a free class and take advantage of first month deal and seek those gains!!

I've been a member at Performance 360 La Mesa for over four months now. As someone who has been…read moredoing group fitness training for a few years now at a variety of gyms, I have to say that P360 is the best gym that I have ever been to. This is the first time that I can honestly say that I have seen not only an improvement in my physique, but an overall improvement in my cardiovascular health and overall improvement in my strength and endurance. The coaches at this gym have legitimate experience in coaching. The coaches here take their work really seriously and make a serious effort to correct form during the classes, and ensure that you are performing the movement correctly. They don't mess around, and make the environment so welcoming and comfortable. P360 even gives you access to nutrition resources by their nutrition coaches. The workouts are strategically planned out, usually up to a couple weeks out in advance. Very organized, to ensure that no matter what day you go, you will be getting a legitamte workout. I love that on the app you can see what the workouts are going to be for the week and it doesn't matter which P360 location you end up being a member at, the workouts are going to be the exact same for all the locations. And if you are someone who is new to fitness, new to using the kind of weights and barbells that are used here, there's no need to be intimidated by it. There are people of ALL ages at this gym and ALL kinds of fitness levels. They make it easy to modify some of the workouts if you have some limitations. Prior to becoming a member at P360, I was going to a lot of random studios off of ClassPass. So I feel like I have a lot of group fitness gyms to compare it too. 10/10 recommend P360.

There is also an option for highschoolers to workout during the summer for free which is great, but that means the gym fills up quickly and certain equipment might have a long wait. Even though Planet Fitness is known for having the infamous "lunk alarm" and a demeaning attitude, this location was actually very chill. No workers at the front and everyone was minding their own business. The machines were all clean and the gym regulars took their time cleaning after use. Upon entering, there were lots of upper body machines in the open area and several rooms dedicated to legs and core machines. Not a high quantity of machines in general, so adjust your expectations and workout. Despite the cons, I wouldn't discourage beginners from going to this location.

The gym focuses in on efficient and proper forms/techniques on all their workouts. The main concept is that all classes are split into 2 types, the "tuff" and "rig". I've personally have not tried other "similar" type of gyms but from the feedbacks of others I've talked to, this gym's program and setup is one of the most effective. From the owner Rory to the trainers Brooke/Loccy, everyone greets you with a smile and only sends positive support. No judgement on the amount of weight you use nor the amount of reps you can do.
