To make it worse, they charged different rates for the same lesson in the same month with no explanation. Bottom line: * Secret charges without consent * Policies enforced but never communicated * Coach cancellations = no refund. Your cancellation = heavy penalty * Inconsistent billing * Training quality doesn't justify any of it They may look cheaper, and there's a reason for that. Check your statements regularly or risk becoming their ATM. Ask for every policy in writing before you commit. Long-term loyal customers deserve better than this.

It seems to be a popular location because there is a waitlist for many of the classes. It was interesting that there is a nearby OTF location in Sandy and there were no waitlists for their classes. Last night I checked my credit card account and found I was charged for September, October, and November for $63.28 EACH of those months on the 1st totaling $189.84. I have been charged for a service I canceled, at a location that is very inconvenient for me to visit. I need to be refunded and I need to be ensured Hotworx deletes my credit card number. I honestly think my July should also be refunded or prorated and am very frustrated. This e-mail is this is the sixth method I have used to try to contact the company since yesterday when I noticed I am still being charged. I have sent several texts, e-mails, and left voice mails and no one is responding to me. I also have documentation of submitting my two-month cancelation in May and have correspondence with the manager about my cancelation. Customer service is extremely hard to reach, and when you finally do get in contact with someone, they tell you they can't do anything about it. No flexibility, no accountability, no help. This whole experience feels misleading and frustrating. Be careful before signing anything here -- especially personal training contracts. You might end up locked in longer than you expect.

The instructor was energetic but also made it easy enough for us novices to follow along. At the conclusion of the class, I was sufficiently sweaty and tired, which sounds like a good workout to me.
