Can I leave another review just to reiterate how much I love this place? The staff here are SO welcoming, and the trainers really give 100% in trying to be accommodating, thorough during the workouts, and motivating. I have made a few friends in coming to these classes, the gym really strives to create a community and they do an excellent job at doing just that. Beyond the people and the ambiance, the workouts themselves are absolutely great. Each one will kick your butt in a new creative way, and you will never be bored or disappointed. So get your butt over to this gym and try it out if you haven't already! They do offer week trials at a very good price (something around $20-$25).

I love that this studio is not overcrowded.

The workouts are awesome and I love how F45 lays out the workout. Resistance day is my favorite and Mike and Ione are a great pairing, my favorite trainers. Mike lights up the room and he's super funny while Ione is excellent at correcting form and making me feel confident. On cardio days I like Anita and Justine. Anita is excellent and helpful and Justine is a sweetheart. So fun to be around her! Other trainers tend to be too much and expect us to get everything right at once. I am out of breath, dying, give me space instead of keep repeating the same thing over and over again and expect me to get everything right when I am learning the move. It's intimidating. Be friendly, understanding and help me to change one thing at a time, please!! The fact that this gym is not overcrowded is another plus. The right amount of people in the mornings.

Been going to F45 for a week now. Started with their free trial which ends in February btw. Their trials will be 7 days long and will cost $20 which IMO is fair given how amazing these workouts are. I have been to Mike, Damaris and Dax's classes only so far and their classes are enough to convince me that is a gym worth joining. Mike is very attentive and professional. I am glad that he corrects our form when we are doing it wrong especially in his Strength classes. Damaris is cheerful and also very helpful. Dax is motivating and inspirational and the perfect coach for cardio days. I really like their format of having two coaches in each class since the class gets kinda busy some days(15-20 people). The workout itself is fun and makes you leave the gym with a smile and sweat on your face. I am used to their cardio style classes that most other gyms so I am really glad that I did my muscles some good by going to their Strength class. Been sleeping really good cause of these workouts. F45 sets up the stations or pods for you to move between every 45 or 35 seconds and they are numbered and the trainers make the whole process so easy to understand. They are doing a great job. I live in N.Jose so this location is a bit of a pain to get to in peak traffic hours but I have still been making their 7pm class cause that's how amazing it is. If you live closer or work closer, look no further and try them out for a month and see the difference yourself!

How much does the month to month membership cost? I saw it was $118 billed biweekly. Does that mean it's $118 two times a month or $118 but split in half billed 2 times a month? Also, are you able to pause for a month if out of town?

I am wondering if you guys only offer classes? I am afraid I couldn't keep up during a class. :(

We are fully class based. But everyone is at their own stations and can go at their own pace. THe trainers are there to help with modificatiions and instruction. You would be amazed by the varying levels that we accomodate.

    Do you offer Body Scans?

Yes - we have an InBody 570 Scanner which uses electrical impedence to measure body composition. A complimentary scan comes with membership. Non Members can purchase scans and give us a call to schedule.… Read more

Right away, I noticed the tight-knit camaraderie. There's a strong sense of community that honestly feels even more connected than other group fitness gyms like F45. As a first-timer, I felt welcomed from the start. The energy is on another level. The headset mic system helps amplify coaching across the large floor space, making the session feel clear and high-energy. Coach Brenden's shout-outs during the workout were electric--you could tell everyone was feeding off it. After class, Kim at the front desk was incredibly helpful--she walked me through a tour and went over my InBody results in detail. That kind of individual attention isn't something you always get, and it really stood out. My wife joined me for the class too (she had to rush out early since she works in Menlo by 6:30 AM), but we were both impressed by the vibe and professionalism. On a personal note--I've admired Brian Nunez from afar since meeting him a couple of times back in the 2006-2008 Club One / Active Sports Club days. It felt full-circle finally stepping into the space he's built. He's become a truly respected leader in the fitness industry, and FNS absolutely reflects that vision. As someone turning 40 this year, raising a 4-year-old and a teen, and down 70+ lbs since April 2024, fitness isn't just about reps for me--it's about reclaiming my life. FNS brings that intention, energy, and leadership I respect deeply. Whether you're starting fresh or leveling up--FNS is the real deal.

In the last 4 years, I have gained strength, stamina, and sheer kick-ass in kick-boxing, all while gaining range in motion and flexibility. Jeff is a thoughtful instructor, and his instructions are on par with elite personal training, while being conducted in a a context of a group exercise setting. It is NOT P90X, T25, cardio kick-boxing, most of which focuses on grotesque amount of repetition and speed, in my opinion, which can lead to injuries. Rather, bFit focuses on correct form and range, which through time and repetition, you transform. The classes are filled with a varying level of students in capability. The students are passionate, but not intimidating. Atmosphere is friendly, and not cliquey. I think there is a camaraderie created from enduring through the bFit regiments, and there is a general sense of team that just happens when people go through hardships together. Over the years, the classes have remained challenging. In good part, due to the constantly changing program and motions and varying equipments including TRX, Kettle Bells, and Sand Bags. Also, in great part, due to Jeff's friendly by seriousness towards his students. I haven't had a specific physical goal. I just want to be healthy. bFit is how I gauge my level of fitness. I'll continue to go, so that I maintain my goal. Also, and very important here, girls in the classes also really really kick ass. I worked with Jeff to find modifications in order to build up my strength and now I am able to do almost everything he throws at us during classes and I feel great! I used to have pain in my should and down my arm and all of that is gone. It's definitely not one of those classes where you feel like you're intruding on everyone else or you're slowing anyone down. Jeff takes the time to show you in detail what you should be doing and what you should be feeling while you're doing an exercise. He is extremely patient with you and would rather you be doing something right or be doing a completely different exercise than to hurt yourself in any way. Also, it's not just the same class all the time. He often changes things up and there's always fun music to listen to. He has a few classes like burn-it (intense, but fun), build-it ( kettle bell, TRX bands, and weight training), kickboxing, and breathe (15mins, good for rolling out muscles). Definitely worth it!

There is never judgment from the staff or the people who work out. I love them all. I am proud to call this gym my gym and I'm so happy to be part of this community. Are the equipments best in class? No. But I will come here because of the people and honestly - to be fit all you need are free weights, cardio equipment, and a little help from your friends. The trainers are always so helpful and the manager, Nico is so fun and friendly. For training I recommend Edwin. He has the most transformative training I've ever seen. I have seen his clients transform to their goal body. He takes his job seriously, corrects you while training and understands that proper form is key. He's given me tips and has also helped me transition my training to something suited and better for me and I've seen changes in the way my body respond! So- kudos to Edwin! The front desk staff from Chloe, Mayra, Lance, Andy, and Rishi are so approachable and always there with a smiling face. Jose Luis - the trainer's manager is also super helpful! Sometimes- it isn't about the equipment - it is about the people you surround yourself with that genuinely roots for you that makes a place a second home. Yes, this is my second home. But it kinda stops there…read more Minuses: I am an older guy, so I really don't enjoy loud rap at 7AM with the f-word and other bad language and sexual or violent stuff in it. Just sounds like profanity and people banging on garbage cans. Every early morning that I go, the music is too loud, even overwhelming the noise cancellation feature in my Air Pods. I look around, and EVERYONE is wearing ear pods or headphones. And yet the front desk tells me that they are getting requests to turn the volume up. Which I truly doubt. Strangely, this is not an issue at the San Jose location. Just Sunnyvale. In the mornings, there can be HITT classes and the instructors play the music painfully loud on their own portable sound system. Normally, there is a separate, walled room for this (San Jose Crunch), but not in Sunnyvale. So we all suffer from the ear-banging. There is an overabundance of treadmills which I have never seen full, but only one cable machine for shoulder workout, which is either broken or full-time occupied. Only two free-weight bench press benches, typically full. Only two portable benches in the weight area, typically full. For about two years, I have asked to have the men's shower controls repaired; you set the temperature handle, and it slowly drifts to scalding. A plumber could fix this in about 10 minutes. At least two conversations with the manager about this, and no repairs. Also, one or both shower soap dispensers is typically empty or broken. The worst is when I get attitude from the front desk staff. I ask for something (like non-rap music) and I get lots of reasons why I can't have it. And that kind of smile that really says "screw you, you can't make me do it." I don't know if the budgets are zero here, or if the management just doesn't care, but something really is not right. Almost every other club I have been to is more positive, helpful, clean, functional, and courteous. And at other clubs, I typically have no problem getting in contact with the manager. Here, it has been a challenge.

My goal was mainly weight loss to help with some serious health issues I developed, but I also wanted to just have base strength, stamina, and endurance I didn't have before, whether for if I'm invited to do something athletic with friends, or just for day-to-day life Brian was great with working at me where I was at, while still helping me work towards my goals. He knew how to adapt the exercises and how to go about teaching me the core basics to be able to actually build up the skills I needed to do the exercises while also starting to build up the muscle to be able to actually do them Brian was incredibly motivating and encouraging as well, always hyping me up and pushing me to do more while still respecting fully when I did need to take breaks or modify an exercise. He also fully respected boundaries I had set, such as me not wanting to discuss dietary stuff and notwanting to take pre-workout due to my own health issues. He also always worked with me on helping us figure out my specific goals and checked-in wirh me on them I lost a significant amount of weight over the span of that year, which greatly improved multiple weight-related health issues of mine. That amount of improvement isn't something you can just buy outright I also gained some more muscle, which definitely has helped with day-to-day living, and I can't complain about how my fisque has changed from that too. But really, beyond health improvements, the biggest thing working with him helped with was building confidence, faniliarity, and comfortability with being at the gym. In the past, I've gone to the gym and learned a lot of different exercises, but I often would be overwhelmed and often not know how to structure a full workout for myself. Now, I can walk into any gym and make a workout routine for whatever muscle group I want to target, adapt it for the machines and free weights available, remember or figure out the exact body postion to do the exercises properly, figure out sets and reps, and determine weights would push me without hurting me, or modify if weights end up being too much The UFC gym in sunnyvale overall is generally a great vibe as well. I did some of the kickboxing classes, which were fun, but there were a lot of other classes I didn't have the time to try that definitely caught my eye. Unfortunately, F45 Sunnyvale feels like a major outlier -- and not in a good way. I'm genuinely surprised this studio is still operating under the F45 name, because the experience here doesn't reflect the same standards I've come to expect. Trainers at this location don't demonstrate exercises live, they just mirror the video playlist from an iPad onto the TV screen and leave it at that. One coach in particular gave off the impression of being completely new to the F45 environment -- they didn't look or carry themselves like a trainer at all, and there was no engagement or technique correction throughout the session. It made the class feel unstructured and even unsafe at times. The equipment and studio upkeep also leave a lot to be desired. The space feels gritty and worn down, lacking the clean, energized environment that most F45s provide. I couldn't help but compare it to F45 Branham Park or F45 Mountain View, which are both far superior in terms of coaching, energy, and maintenance -- and they're priced similarly. If you're thinking of trying F45, do yourself a favor and explore one of the other nearby studios. Sunnyvale's location simply doesn't deliver on the brand promise, and I walked away feeling like I wasted both my time and money.
