They also have prepackaged snacks (shout out Chomps) that are protein heavy and mindful choices. We ordered smoothies, and although pricy, they were good quality. All in all, it's a super great spot and I highly recommend checking it out.

Nutiformance Gym came highly recommended by a friend, and I can see why! The facility is clean,…read morewell-equipped, and has a great energy. Dale and Ellie, the owners, are incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about building a strong fitness community. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the coaches, Amy Strahan, wasn't what I hoped for. I attended a class that wasn't beginner-friendly, despite being new to the gym. Throughout the session, Amy repeatedly suggested I sign up for one-on-one coaching with her, which felt more like a sales pitch than genuine guidance. It left a sour impression. That said, I'm not giving up on Nutiformance. I plan to return and try classes with other coaches--I believe there's a lot of potential here, and I'm hopeful my next experience will be more supportive and aligned with my fitness level.

The group fitness classes drew me to this gym - I find them to be quite challenging! I appreciate the community vibe felt at NutriFormance. I see a lot of the same faces every time I go and many of the gym-goers have worked out at NutriFormance for decades. Amy Strahan's Strong classes are my favorite. Shout out to Natalie, Connor, and Gretchen who know all the member's names and keep track of everyone's milestones. Favorite coaches are Becky, Briana, Devon, Drew, Kameron, and Nichole. All of whom are hyper motivational. Other pros: - Sanitation is at the forefront - Every session entails new and effective total body workouts - Upbeat tracks - Sense of community - It's easy to get in, get your workout on, and get out

However, my body was not prepared for the intensity of the workouts. The treadmill running was particularly tough on an old foot injury. The instructors absolutely offered modifications to ease my foot woes, but my competitive nature didn't want to participate if I couldn't go all out. Fast forward 2 years later, I'm in much better shape physically and I decided to give it another go. The biggest challenge for me this time wasn't the workout itself, but rather to acknowledge my own limitations, resist my competitive nature, & heed alternatives to running - like walking on an incline OR using the strider. I enjoyed Orangetheory so much more this go-around, it's truly a great full body workout. I personally love the built-in variety, since you will always rotate between rowing, strength and treadmill work. If your goal is to maximize your one-hour at the gym, enjoy a mix of cardio & strength training, and burn a ton of calories, Orangetheory will deliver results. I'm in…read moremy second week now and I actually look forward to working out! that's a first for me... ever! The staff is quick to help; motivate and welcome you. Kim in the mornings is awesome! I look forward to working with her every day. Like a lot of the other reviews mention; I don't even feel like I've been there an hour; it goes by so fast! But the workouts are intense and are set up in a way that I always feel motivated to push myself. (More than I ever have before) I am happy to report that I am signing up for a year membership; as well as their 6 week body transformation that starts in a couple of weeks. (Nutrition based). If you haven't found a gym or program that works for you, I urge you to try TF for a month!

I first learned about Torched on Facebook. I was hesitant to get started but bit the bullet and…read moresigned up for a boot camp. WOW. I have belonged to several gyms over the years and they don't hold a candle to Torched. I went to 24 Hour Fitness for the hours but it didn't stick. I tried Club Fitness for the price but it was really intimidating and I wound up feeling lost and out of place the whole time. I gave up on gym life for a while but eventually was lured to Planet Fitness by their promise of a no judgement zone. Sure, I never felt judged but it also never felt like a gym. It was too easy to talk myself into biking for ten minutes then getting a massage. Eventually I wound up using it pretty much just for the tanning. So fast forward to the beginning of 2018 and I'm the heaviest I've ever been, looking at a rigorous work/school schedule, and trying to have a baby with my husband. I needed a change. So I signed up for Torched and had a sit down with Jeremy, the head dude. We talked about my goals and about where I had failed - nix that - where my gyms had failed me before. I bought his sales pitch and decided to try out the 6 week boot camp because, worst case scenario, it's only six weeks, right? DUDE. I was a little nervous the first day because I've never done this sort of pseudo-cross-fit-circuit-training type of thing before. The trainer, Daniel, was a star, though, and walked me through it step by step. The second day was easier, then the third, until suddenly I realize I'm three weeks in and I'm LOVING IT. I go at 5am and see pretty much the same people every week. I feel like I'm making friends - I look forward to seeing them and working out with a great group of people keeps me motivated to keep pushing forward when I'm tired and want to stop. Everyone I've met has been friendly and kind and motivated to work hard and do better. The trainer in the morning, Emily, is brilliant. I pulled a muscle and hurt my knee (not at the gym!) during the boot camp and she was right there with me during my workouts to make sure that I was taking care of my injuries while still getting the most out of my time. Well, sadly I didn't finish the boot camp, but for good reason. The last week I found out I'm pregnant! I sat down with Jeremy again and we talked it all through. He's super supportive and is dedicated to making sure that I can still have a safe, effective workout throughout my pregnancy. I signed up for a whole year! Never in my life did I ever think that *I* would love going to the gym (mostly because video games are amazing and pizza is like crack). I guess it took finding the right gym.

My favorite workout ever!!!…read more My mind and body have changed in such positive ways since starting PLNK. Now I can't ever imagine myself not coming as it sets my intentions and mood for the day. If you're looking for a huge change and challenge in your life, start today. Just trust me on this one, you won't regret it.

TLDR: exploitative membership terms, excessive penalties, poor quality instruction, and…read morenegligent/hostile management. Don't believe all the 5-star reviews, they solicit these with give-aways and raffles. Notice many of the reviews are from accounts that rarely ever review (especially on Google). Exploitative Membership Terms: If you want to buy more than a drop in class, PLNK puts you on auto renew / bill when you sign up, then restricts your ability to cancel in advance of the next billing cycle (must request in email 10 days in advance of the billing date). This keeps you locked in. Additionally, they heavily restrict the booking window on their passes. Classes are always booked out two weeks in advance. So, you're stuck with class passes you can't use, which then expire. This has happened to me on numerous occasions and at $30-35/class this really hurts. Excessive Penalties: They also penalize you with an extra $20 fee in addition to the $35 class fee you if you don't show up, and $15 fee if you cancel within 24 hours. They then take your space and give it to someone on the waitlist. If that person isn't there in person to take your spot when you no-show or last minute cancel, they are also charged a no-show fee. This is how they turn a $35 seat in their class into a $90+ seat. Negligent / Hostile Management: You aren't allowed to speak or interact with management -- they cite personal safety concerns (??) -- and instead put all the responsibility for dealing with guest complaints to their front desk staff who are unpaid interns. If you do manage to reach management via their anonymously maintained studio email addresses, they will gaslight you and and threaten you with being banned from the studio. I had this experience first hand and their harassment continued after I cancelled my membership and left the studio. Poor Quality Instruction / Injury Risk Finally, the quality of the instruction in low with teachers turning over really quickly and minimal training. Many teachers either are unable to or were not trained to describe the physiology of the movements, instead relying on branded names for each, and assuming you know it. When you look around the studio you always see many people looking confused and looking at each other for guidance. The risk of injury is high here.

Shred415 is by far the most fun workout class I have ever taken! My fiancé and I signed up last…read moreyear in October and we have been coming about 4/5 times a week ever since. Reasons why I love the workout: 1. Treadmills / running are incorporated! I love to run but I hate when I have to chose either weights or running. I love Shred because it keeps both! 2. Minimal thought/ experience required. You don't have to wait for equipment or think about what your next set is going to consist of because they tell you what to do the entire time! Also, if you don't know how to do something- it doesn't matter- because your instructor shows you each move before they expect you to do it. Reason why I love this location specifically: The Instructors & Staff are just the best! I truly feel like I have made some great friends here and that all of the people in this location genuinely care about you. It's so nice that I can pick my classes to go with my favorite instructors or I can take one with someone that's not in my regular "schedule" and I still get the same amazing workout and attention. Overall, the gym is clean, safe, but most importantly fun! 100% would recommend to anyone of any experience level!
