There are lots of equipment to use to work every aspect of the body. There is a kids area to drop your kids off for free while you work out. I noticed a basketball court, pool and a sauna. There is a personal trainer for an extra fee available. A water tank is available to rehydrate. The Bad: I went specifically to try a group class, boot camp. The class was canceled although it was not communicated so everyone showed up. Only to realize the person quit weeks ago and the front desk was not even aware. Weird much!! The Ugly: Some of the equipment is rusting or out of service. People are paying a membership for good equipment! There is a lack of hand sanitizing stations (not to be mistaken for the equipment germicides). That's just gross. Air is circulating well upstairs where the elliptical machines are. The class instructors were great (some better that others), the staff is incredibly friendly and encouraging, and there are a lot of class times to choose from. The classes were incredibly difficult/challenging, and it was a little bit intimidating, but I suffered through it and felt better after each class. Six days in, I learned that my teenage son was leaving town for the month and wanted to take advantage of that month to focus on my fitness. I'd found online that many OT centers will charge you the difference to upgrade. So I reached out to OT asked if I could upgrade my membership to unlimited classes. I explained the situation, and they gave me 3 options...I could upgrade my membership immediately and pay the FULL price for the upgraded membership (a little less than double what I had paid just 6 days earlier); I could use up all my prepaid classes for the month and request to be switched, at which point I'd be charged the full price, or I could wait until my month was up and upgrade then. Considering how expensive the classes are, and the gadget I just bought to wear on my arm, I wasn't prepared to dish out almost $200 dollars more after a week. I finished my classes, and toward the end of the month I was approached repeatedly, very nicely but repeatedly by various staff, about upgrading my membership. I was irritated/disgusted, and I cancelled my membership. As much as I enjoyed the fitness aspect, I hated the business model and feeling like a number. I just couldn't bring myself to go back.

I just came home from North Tampa on a business trip and attended this studio's 5am class for each of the three days I was there, and I must say, this studio rocked. The front desk staff and sales associates were some of the most friendly I've ever met! They all treated me as if I was a new member of their studio, not just a visitor. They all seemed genuinely happy to have me there and were all very welcoming. When I said goodbye on my last morning, they said "OH NO ITS YOUR LAST DAY?!" which I thought was cute. Thanks for making me feel at home, guys! The studio itself is one of the largest I've been to. I loved how the rowers were in the middle of the room- it makes mobility much easier. I took Mikaela's classes and she played incredible music, was friendly and energetic. She made waking up at 4:30am while on business actually something to look forward to. My only gripe with this studio is their sound system sucks. It's really muffled and hard to understand what the coaches are saying. But other than that, you can NOT go wrong here. They are not educators, extremely disrespectful and will throw your kid out the program in a heart beat instead of solving the issue as a educator. Every child deserves to be treated equally and they do not do that here. They discriminate against children with disabilities. Also they made a mistake of calling a emergency contact instead of the primary phone number, I showed up to pick up my child and I was told he was not there.
