At other F45s I've been to, people trudge in late and at different times. It can be distracting and disruptive. (2) Awesome instruction. I'm always getting feedback on form, and the instructors are always engaged. I appreciate the attention to detail, it's the only way I can improve. I go here almost everyday - highly recommend for anyone that's looking to burn fat, build muscle, and do it efficiently.

As a parishioner of St. Michael's, I often would hear the music at the 10:30 am mass and I wonder what it was. Time later, I saw an ad for F45 and I was like, Why not? I live close by. I followed the sign and I felt I was going to a Speakeasy. I am glad a good samaritan was right behind me and guided me through the basement area and long corridor. I just left their Tokyo class. I truly dont know why they call it Tokyo and kudos to the coaches - Jackie and Hernan! AMAZING. I told them my injuries and they provided modifications and suggestions amidst a very packed 9:30 am sunday class. Management - Please give them a raise!! As a former fitness pro, I am amazed with their high level of professionalism and I would come back again.

I enjoyed the intense workout and truly appreciated the encouraging vibe and great workout tips from the instructor, Scott. The workout spot is ample but could be better organized--the exercises require benches and floor space and occasionally I didn't know where to go or feel like I had sufficient floor room between benches. Room is downstairs and ran a bit hot, and changing space is limited. Still and all, the workout was great and I'd definitely go back for more. Instructor was fantastic--encouraging and helpful.

The instructor made good use of the music, as it was very dynamic. We exercised to the beat and also to his counts. It was a large class of about 20 people, so you won't be getting much individual attention on form. The instructor wears a mic but sometimes the music is so loud you still can't hear some of what he says. But there are plenty of TVs mounted on the ceiling, so even if you're in the back you can usually see what new exercise the instructor is showing. It's a very clean studio. After class, everyone was using the wet wipes to wipe their benches, mats, etc. There are 2 small changing rooms and a large bathroom. They provide bathroom products such as dry shampoo, wet wipes, hair ties, and a hairdryer. There's also clothes racks to hang your coats and an open locker cubicle to put your bags.

While doing so, another member approached me and made inappropriate comments, saying, "I won't tell if you won't tell." she repeated this a few time She went on to imply that people often walk in and take items without permission and suggested I should go to a gym closer to my home. I explained that I live in Brooklyn and do not have a gym in my area. She then insisted on walking me to the locker room. A few minutes later, this same member entered the locker room and questioned whether I intended to work out there. This interaction left me feeling uncomfortable, judged, and unwelcome. Shortly after, a male employee approached me regarding a complaint about people "laughing and screaming." I wasn't aware that speaking or expressing joy at the gym was against the rules, and I strongly suspect the complaint was made by the same member who confronted me earlier. This entire experience has left me feeling unfairly targeted and profiled. As someone who chose NYC Sports Club for its reputation and accessibility, this incident was both disheartening and unacceptable. Everyone deserves to feel welcome and respected in a gym environment, and my experience today fell far short of those expectations.

I go only when I am so short on time that I am forced to go close to my place. Issues? Management is powerless to change a thing, and corporate ignores all Communication. This gym was wonderful (with one exception) before renovation; then they ruined it. In a location that used to, and should, have thrice as many, 73d shockingly installed FIVE--total FIVE--ellipticals, and even fewer stair mills. No variety in cardio: use treadmill instead of Central Park (boring), ride a bike (only THREE), climb stairs (almost always taken), or fight to get one of the four functioning ellipticals that are, by the way, all the same variety. To all those considering this gym, I say Buyer Beware!

Right in…read morefront of Madison Square Garden, you get a good view of the stadium and all the craziness happening down below to get into MSG. A lot of the Life Time locations in NYC are fairly small in size but so is everything else in town like restaurants, hotels, and retails stores. What I love about this location is that I feel like a lot of people don't know that it's here. I come and usually traffic is fairly light. Just avoid it between 5pm-7pm because the locker rooms are small and yes they completely fill up sometimes. Theres three floors: 1st floor is check-in, Pickleball courts (w/ beer & wine) on tap, second floor is cardio, a few studios and the LifeCafe. Third floor is weights, machines, locker rooms and a few other studios. The gym is very clean overall. People mind their own business, they get their workout in and get out. Which is great because you hardly ever have to wait around for a machine.

This location needs to be fully investigated! I used to work here at LifeTime Fitness Penn1…read morelocation. I am in absolute disgust on how the work place has treated me. I reached out to HR and mentioned mainly on how I've been treated there and how it affected my health. No I didn't state EVERY single detail because I wanted to see what would be done with just the information that I gave. Since no real action has been taken. I will share my full story on working at LifeTime Fitness PENN1. I went through a lot mentally, physically, emotionally. The supervisor for operations once made a fat joke, woman supervisor was passive aggressive towards me, sexually harassed by some of the men employees they would make sexual remarks about my body and I was always super uncomfortable to show up to work and be around others. There was a time I couldn't show up to my shifts because I started to get nose bleeds, light headed, overheated, pelvic bleeding from all the work overload, chronic chest pains, anxiety attacks, going to endless doctors appointments. I would go into the bathroom stall and break down in tears. I was getting write ups on rules and regulations that were never enforced to me or the team. Everyday I show up and do my best, and it was never enough. While the other co-workers are in towel room smoking THC vapes, drinking on the job, always taking breaks and stepping outside, eating chatting and laughing majority of their shift while gossiping about me. Not to mention one day I had the worst chest pain that last me two hours in the middle of the night and I had to go to work early the next day. I did end up going in late and when I clocked in I spoke to the supervisor and told him what happened. He then says '' OH OKAY, BY ANY CHANCE CAN YOU STAY LATE TODAY ?" the lack of empathy is sickening. Every time they needed coverage I was there, the task that was needed I've done and this is how I was treated during my time there. I am genuinely disgusted and disappointed on how this company gets to get away with this. I would not recommend working here its not worth the time, energy, experience nor pay. I left 3 1/2 months ago im truly traumatized and still in shock. NEVER AGAIN.
