I was also advised they had already reached out and I was forward a screenshot but had no email in my inbox so that seemed odd to me. Despite canceling the day the link was provided (9/11)I was charged again in October. The whole process felt intentionally confusing and inconvenient. I kept getting told that I was past the 30 days cancellation but that was due to the lack of communication on F45's part. It's very easy to communicate when you're contemplating becoming a member but extremely hard to get a hold of someone when you wish to cancel. The classes themselves were fine- good instructors and solid workouts- but the billing and cancellation process feels misleading and difficult. Be aware this is a recurring membership that's difficult to cancel and can only be done through a hard-to-find link.

I show up to the gym about 5 minutes before my scheduled consultation. When I walked in I wasn't greeted by anyone. I stood awkwardly not sure where to go for about a minute or two but once I spot the lobby/chairs I decide to sit down. There was an office by the chairs but no one was inside and the lights were off, so I wasn't sure where to check-in or if I even needed to do that. I sat for about 15 minutes and that entire time no one spoke to me. I didn't feel welcomed and was just about to get up and leave. Finally, I was asked by someone if I needed something and I explained that I was here for a personal training consultation that should've started at 11am but it is 11:10 at this point. She then leaves to figure out who was supposed to be training me but it turns out my appointment was not in their schedule, even though I confirmed it with one of their representatives a couple days prior. So by now it's 20-30 minutes after my scheduled appointment and she decides that she will just do the consultation for me. I felt like I was a burden and was just being fit in. I had high hopes for this gym and really wanted to support a local black business. I understand miscommunication happens but I hate not feeling welcomed places.

July we were told that new management was coming that following Monday. I show up Monday no one there lights off doors locked. No explanation try reaching out to D1 no response for about 2-3 weeks. Finally we get a call stating that their new management and they will be starting class back up and that we would have the weeks missed added to the end of the contract. Well everything was fine until December 12 when I get a text message telling me classes were canceled. I called and spoke with Corey and he stated that the facility was going to be closing for renovations. I already knew something was up. The space is small what more can they do to it. Well, he told me that we will be getting an email from corporate about what going on and that we will be getting refunds. I did receive an email from corporate that Sunday night telling me another lie about what they're doing and how they plan to reopen in 6 weeks but that we were going to be getting a refund by the end of the week. That was December 15 and today is Jan 16 and I still have yet to receive anything from D1. I have sent emails with no response. I called the Frisco location which is were Corey from Firewheel D1 went to. He told me that refunds had been refunded, but after talking to some the other clients that also attended D1 Firewheel they have not yet received their refund either. I've reached out to corporate no response the number for corporate on the website for immediate assistance goes straight to voicemail. I really thought highly of D1 the trainers were all great. But, the owners they don't care about us. They only care about lining their pockets.

I look forward to coming to class which is very hard to do for me since I almost always talk myself out of going. But Angie's great and so are all the other lady's in the glass! We all have fun and encourage each other and if Angie sees you struggling she encourages and shows a modification! I have tried to do a "guy" push-up for ever and have never been able to do it. But since I started going to Angie's class I can actually do it! Can't wait till I can do more! She has a different routine every time. There is always some body part getting worked out that the next day I can feel! I love that and heck I've done a TON of workout classes and never had any work out before hit so many different muscle groups and leave me sore in places I didn't even know I had a muscle to work out in! It's easy you just pay $7 bucks a class whatever day you show up and get an hour of sweat on and feel great about yourself afterwards! She has classes Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Like I said she mixes it up every class so you can't skip leg day if you happen to hate it! So girls get ready to have everything feeling good, body and mind for a fun filled hour with girl power!
