I called the studio because one class appeared to be missing from my account. I had recently signed up for their "3 classes for $30" offer after trying the studio through ClassPass, and I am also currently an F45 Chandler member. The app allowed me to book and use my first class without any issue. When I tried to book my second class, it showed I had no classes remaining, even though I believed I still had one left. I called to clarify and resolve the issue so I could use my remaining class. During the call, I was told the offer had expired after 7 days and that the expiration was the same day (Tuesday). I politely asked if a one-time courtesy extension could be considered so I could use the remaining class the next day. The person who picked up my call (Shauna Fogg) literally laughed at my request and hung up the phone abruptly before I could fully address my concern, and I did not receive any resolution. I found the interaction unprofessional and disappointing, especially when I was genuinely considering purchasing a larger class pack after this trial experience. Found my new gym! Short and sweet: Great HIIT studio that combines cardio and strength training to give you a great workout with friendly people and a competitive environment. The deets: The classes - this is why you come! Something different every day so you always feel challenged! The stronger you get the harder you can go, so you'll always get a great workout and push yourself to new fitness levels! They have morning and evening classes and even a lunch time for those lucky enough to get away from their computer screen (I wish!) Weekends only have morning classes, so that can be a bummer.. but I get it and motivates me to start my day right! They also have a run club I've been enjoying on Wednesdays and Sundays - please come, it's free! Everyone around you is so motivating! I feel like most people have been going for a long time cuz they are in such great shape! They still offer modifications - so don't feel like you need to be an expert. I just went from pushups on my knees to 2 full body pushups! Progress right?? Everything is timed and they have screens that show you exactly what you should be doing and how much longer you have to go! This is great for those who need a little more guidance (meee ‍ ) Best part about going to f45 classes is you don't have to think, you just have to do and I promise you'll get stronger! For those looking to get in really good shape they have nutritional plans and tips on their app and that's where you can really see a change. They also do challenges where you can win cool stuff! I'm busting my butt so that I can win an infrared sauna!! This has been great because I really need the accountability! They also offer heart rate monitor tracking. This is where the competitive side comes in. If you choose to share you name, they put it on a tracker during class to earn points. Sadly I've only gotten 1st one time, but I am getting WAY better workouts and pushing myself to do more to get more points. My endurance is up and I know I wouldn't have grabbed the 20lb dumbells if I wasn't trying to win! (Competitive much? Didn't realize till I was trying to get first place!) The other piece of the heart rate monitor is showing you where you are in the level of your workout. Technically green is ideal, so if you stay there, you're at the best place to burn the most calories - so who cares if you're first? ;) The staff - we all know it can be intimidating going to a new gym/workout studio not knowing anyone to workout. Every trainer there has been so nice! They help people when needed and give great motivation! I do feel sometimes they could help with a little bit of form for some, but I also know people are in the zone and if not in an injury position maybe not a big deal? For new people or anyone that asks for help they are ALWAYS there so I do appreciate that. The location - it's perfect! Right off the freeway, right next to a parking garage and even though it might look a little small, they always have room for each station's workout. I never feel over crowded and it just flows! (Ps.. they are adding a gate for the parking garage so add time to park! It'll be $3 but heard you can get it validated for free for 2 hours) They also have 2 gender neutral bathrooms with all the perfect amenities. Lord knows how many times I've forgotten a hair tie and they always have them and bobby pins. They also have deodorant, hair spray and showers with the works! I haven't showered there yet, but to know if I needed to it's there is super convenient! So I've been going for over 6 months and although a gym can do me justice I really like the class environment! I believe they have some free first class or discount class options for your first time. Come check it out and if you're at an evening class maybe I'll see you!! BEWARE of signing up because if you sign a contract and happen to move out of the location you go too, they will make it hell to cancel your membership. I've been getting charged the last 3 months, and it is not cheap. Nobody would email back to me until I yelled at them on the phone. Great workout place that I enjoyed, but horrible at cancelling. Absolutely ridiculous. UPDATE: the owner called and screamed at me so unprofessional. She ended the phone call with "see you in small claims court" because I was upset when I called them! Absolutely baffled. Why can't they make exceptions if you move 30 to 40 minutes away from a location and can't drive there every single day. I just graduated college and am starting a job and they don't care to send me to collections and rip hundreds of dollars out of my bank account when I told them to stop. I promise y'all, quit that $10 gym membership and get your ass to F45. Your goals will be reached. The staff/coaches know you by name. When I finished my $7 7 day trial- the on boarding staff remembered my personal story, goals and even my education when I was considering my membership. Ummm SOLD! The music is loud and keeps you going, the coaches pay attention to EVERY single person in the gym, the fellow members are so sweet and welcoming! On Saturdays, there's a DJ in the gym.. I mean cmon. F45 Training - Tempe Town Lake - Trainers Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

Can't say enough good things about this location! I have tried other locations and none compare to this one! The workout: always changing and always a challenge. You never do the same workout twice and they curate each one so it targets certain muscle groups on certain days. It's only 45 minutes but I never leave feeling like I didn't get enough out of it, it's always rewarding and challenging regardless of fitness level. They have many modifications to fit your level and needs! Coaches: by far the best group of coaches you'll find. They all have different backgrounds and personalities which is great because it means that there is someone for everyone! They really take the time each class to understand and get to know you so they can give your the feedback and training that works for you. If you have questions or have a goal in mind, they genuinely want to know about it and they remember it so when you come back they help you build up to your goal! So supportive, encouraging, and nice people. I stay for the coaches and the community. Community: the members at this location are of all ages. Although located near the university, there are more than just college students. Everyone I have met there regardless of background are so welcoming and supportive. The coaches make it a point to make everyone feel welcome and create that "team" environment. I could go on and on about this location, the gym itself, and the coaches but you will have to try a class to see the greatness for yourself. 100/10 would recommend over any other location! read more

I have been with F45 Tempe Town Lake for almost a year now! ( Saturday June 4th is one year anniversary for the gym! ) and nothing but greatness is here. All the coaches are amazing and willing to help you inside the gym and outside too! They would take their personal time to help you with your nutrition and any questions you have regarding your fitness journey. Every day is different workout with 45 minutes with different types of workout. Coaches will push during the workout and bring the best out of you! you would be surprised that YOUR LIMIT IS THE SKY! The style of the classes isn't really anything different from many other gyms. Not really a bad thing as the class style and workouts were enjoyable. I will say the trainers at this location did not really make me feel very welcome as a newcomer and there felt a sense of unnecessary competition as to who was "cooler/more fit" amongst the trainers and who they spoke with during the class. For that reason, I did not return; but I will say this style program has appeared successful and I hope many people can find a path to their fitness goals if they chose to come here! read more

This was a horrible experience and has been a continuous pain and financial hardship since I started. Let's back up a few months to when me and my best friend were wanting to start working out again seriously. We had joined many groups in the past and loved the experiences from phoenix fit lab to burn boot camp etc. but this was a new one we were excited about. The first week was free and then you are expected to sign up after the week. On our 6th day, we were told our trials would be done the next day and we had the option to sign up now and then also we were told we can choose our billing date. I even asked for confirmation since this was not something I expected, but since they said we could sign the membership and pick a billing date and continue to utilize the classes, that's what we both did. I chose the 2nd of the next month (it was the 28th of the current month, almost the end) cause that was convenient and my friend chose a later date. We showed up to work out the next day assuming we were members now and the billing was set up and we were set with the expectations that we were able to work out. But what actually happened was they told us in front of the entire group that we didn't pay and that means we don't have a membership, you can't work out if you don't pay. We were horribly embarrassed as that was NOT what was explained to us, and I had even verbally verified with the lady Natalie, the day before. We were allowed to work out that day, but quite frankly, I was so turned off by that experience I never wanted to go back. What was supposed to be an exciting new journey just turned into what looked like cheap skates trying to get out of paying which, that's not my reputation or a look I am going for. Furthermore, that day they ran my debit card for 100$ and tried charging my friend as well, she didn't have the funds so they did not collect anything from her. I was not told the funds would come out that day as they were supposed to come out on the 2nd like planned prior, then on the 2nd (4 days later) they charged me another 100$!! I have been charged a total of 400$ by them since this all started and haven't even been there to work out!!! I just want my money back, and no membership or anything to do with them again. They keep telling me it was 200$ to quit pretty much and that I needed to sign a form etc. However, this is complete discrimination, my best friend who signed up the same day I did (who happens to be black) they didn't collect the money and decided not to hound her and just canceled her membership with 0$ out from her, but for me, I have suffered and have had 400$ taken out of my account and countless communications with them, they even tried to make things right at one point by waiving the two additional payments for cancelation and I wasn't even trying to gather the 200$ back, but then they still ended up not canceling and continued to take more money? I think this is absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend working out there, as they obviously don't have their shit together. This is a financial pain and headache sprinkled with discrimination and false promises more than anything else. read more

F45 is the new grind! It's fast, efficient, and the coaches are amazing. F45 has changed my life. I get more out of this 45 minute workout then I ever did going to the gym for two hours on my own. The coaches will push your limits physically and mentally. Every day they encourage you and support you. F45 is a family. It's a community that brings EVERYONE together!
