For me personally, I have a torn/bulging disc in my spine, and yes, it gave me problems for the first few weeks, but after about a month of going 3-4 times a week, my back pain has lessened and that's a miracle for me!

They are very helpful and make sure you're doing the exercises correctly. They also change it up all the time so that you're not bored or doing the same thing over and over. It's a good HIIT workout, and I always burn at least 300 calories in the 40 minutes of exercise, which is great by my standards. I would have given this place 5 stars, but then something happened (I thought about 3 stars but thats not fair to the rest of the employees). Toward the end of my 2 week trial, I took a look at my finances and even with the discount, it just wasn't doable. This place is expensive (more than other HIIT gyms Ive been to in the past) and being that I am not rich, I just can't make it work with upcoming bills, car repairs and everything else I have going on. When I called and spoke to Sunny, I explained to her that I unfortunately needed to cancel for now. She asked for any feedback for the program and I told her LOVE the classes, but I just can't afford it. She then said, in an incredibly rude tone, "did you know that before you signed up to take our free classes or did you just figure that out now?" Honestly I was shocked. It was so rude, it really hurt my feelings and it felt like she was accusing me of being a scammer or something. I would hate for anyone else to feel this way should they have to cancel. Also because of this I will not ever return, even if I could afford it. It was unbelievably rude. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for giving something a shot and just not being able to afford it. Guess I should have lied and said I hated it or something.

I was skeptical at first, given my experience with other gyms and the fact that it had been 20+ years since my last gym visit. The suck factor was off the charts my first few sessions, I was on the edge of rage quitting more than once, but I stuck with it out of sheer bloodymindedness and glad I did. Chris and all his coaches are next level. They remember all of their clients' progress and difficulties and work with us to keep us safe while still challenging us. They circulate during sessions, pointing out where we're doing great and where (and more importantly, HOW) we can improve. They're incredibly supportive and understanding. The equipment and facilities are maintained in top condition. I've yet to see anything broken or dirty. I wish they had a changing/locker room, but it's a small place so I can see why they don't. Bottom line: if you're looking a great group workout experience, GO TO BFT.

A great release from a stressful work week. The Yelp staff were so organized and motivating as were the kickboxing staff. The only thing that made me anxious was how sanitary were the gloves. All I can tell you is if my hands got sweaty, I'm sure other folks did too. Didn't see any hand sanitizer available. Doesn't mean it wasn't there I just didn't see any. But aside from that it was a really great workout. They had an awesome DJ and light snacks afterwards. Thanks Yelp for those very convenient sweat towels because I really needed it. This workout flew in time! I was definitely already breaking a sweat halfway through. The instruction videos were very clear and the routines rotate. It's advertise as for beginners through expert, however, I think it's more intermediate to expert. The layout is very tight and there is 2 people to a station. I think this is important to note as one may like their space when working out. A big plus to this is how it's family/veteran operated. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about 9 Rounds style of exercise. Facility was very clean. There is locker/cubby space for belongings and a filtered water fountain. I enjoyed my time at 9Round and would recommend so those that are looking to change up their current routine for a more high-impact, cardio pumping exercise!

It looked similar to CrossFit to me. I'm so glad I pushed through that and gave it a shot. It ended up becoming my home gym and the place that fostered me regaining my strength and confidence. This place is always clean. The music is energizing. The workouts are programmed very well. Half the days are cardio, the other half resistance/weights. You get what you put in. But I can't get a better workout in 45 minutes anywhere else. Also, there is always a great stretch offered after class, which I don't recommend skipping! The coaches deserve their own very special acknowledgment. Management does a great job hiring qualified trainers, who also have great people skills. They always take the time to welcome you and do a great job explaining/offering a demo of the workout. And you can always count on them to keep an eye on your form and keep you motivated during the workout. This place is a gem in our community. I look forward to hitting 100 workouts!
