I am a regular customer and a big fan of One Milk Tea in Sacramento since my parents live there. It's the only 5-star milk tea place within a 10-mile radius of my parents' place. Today was the soft opening of the Oakland location. The establishment co-exists with Judy's Burger. I haven't had a chance to try Judy's Burger yet, but next time. This location is inside a plaza so it has its own parking lot. I liked that a lot because I hate street parking. The One Milk Tea signage isn't very clear, but the grand opening banner is quite visible. If you find Judy's Burger, you'll find One Milk Tea. Lol With the soft opening, it's offering buy-one-get-one-free. Perfect, since I needed 4 drinks. For my wife, I got her the Super Fruit Tea. At $6.15, it isn't the cheapest, but more than half of the container was filled with various fruits. Honestly, this was the best drink today, and well worth every penny. It was even better than my usual go-to Brown Sugar milk tea. The quality is consistent with what I had in Sacramento so I was a happy camper. Had a chance to also take a photo with one of the owners Ray. Will be back, and next time will order something from Judy's Burger as well. read more

Since I was visiting my family back in the bay from SoCal, I decided to look for a new boba shop to try with my little brother. All the ones near me in Alameda were chains, and this one popped up a short drive away with a name I've never seen before. When I was close to the shop, I could barely see the entrance and didn't know where to park, since the plaza parking gate had a sign that said "Sorry, closed". It seemed to be electronically activated since I saw a few cars leave. I had to find street parking, which was iffy in a neighborhood in which I felt was kind of sketchy. The signage for the boba shop is small, but it should be right in the plaza with the parking. Since I came after dinner hours, I couldn't really see the sign, and made a few loops trying to make sure the store was there. The interior was small with no bathroom. I ordered a Brown Sugar Jasmine and a Honeydew Milk tea. My brother really enjoyed the honeydew milk tea with lychee jelly, and he isn't usually someone who likes milk teas as much as me. The sweetness was good, but it was a little too sweet for my taste. Otherwise, no complaints. The same can be said for the Brown Sugar Jasmine. I would recommend 75% sugar when ordering from here. I could taste hints of molasses meaning they used genuine brown sugar, but it kind of overpowered the Jasmine taste. Overall, I would've definitely enjoyed the drink more at a lower sugar level, but it was still good. (I was offered a free sugar adjustment, but I was like w/e). The boba pearls are really good though. They have that soft exterior with a little firm interior, so they were both easy to chew with a good amount of bounce. They also were sweet when chewed, so it doesn't feel like you're chewing gum that's lost flavor. Overall a 4 star experience, could be better with the parking situation and larger signs to show its a boba place, but I understand it may not be under their control. The highlight is pretty good boba pearls, and I would recommend 75% sugar. read more

One Milk Tea is located in Judy's Burger and it is a small little spot. It was confusing and hard to find at first because of the signage. There is a small parking lot, and also street parking off to the side. I ordered my usual - the jasmine milk tea with boba. I ordered the it 50% sweet and there was still a good amount of sweetness to it. The drink was creamy, as well as floral. The boba was very chewy on the outside, but tough on the inside. read more

I went here with my daughters about 2 months ago and the area is kinda sketchy but since there was parking right in front of the store we decided to go inside. We got a coconut strawberry slush and a milk tea, both were so so good! I went again today with my girls and the gate for the parking lot was closed! I looked for parking in the street but there was nothing close by. The closest was about 2 blocks away, since this area is not safe this is a HUGE negative. I think they will loose a lot of customers by closing the parking lot and expecting us to walk around this highly trafficked and sketchy street for a slush! Please open the parking lot! read more

Even though the place is located in the most random hidden place ever the service was fast even with one worker, and they had a deal (buy 3 get 1 free) which is awesome! The drinks were good and the sizes were perfect, i would come back if I was in the area it just was a struggle to find parking. read more

I ordered this via doordash. I got the brown sugar fresh milk with 25% sweet. When I took my first sip, it was as if the drink was 125% sweetness. I was soo disappointed. I just gave birth so I wanted something amazing to enjoy but this was a no go for me. I paid $10 for this drink to go to waste. If you have a sweet tooth then this place is definitely for you but if you're someone who likes semi sweet drinks then probs not the best place to come. Almost taste like diabetes. read more

One of my favorite milk tea spots ever! Location wise, it's kinda out of nowhere and unexpected because it's in a burger joint. However, I must say that I've never gotten a drink I don't like from here. My favorite has got to the jasmine milk tea with sea salt creama. TPT is my fave boba place, and this spot comes as a close second. I like that I can place a phone order and walk down the street to get it. I'm usually very selective with my milk tea, I went ahead and ordered their famous Roasted Oolong and Thai tea for my girlfriend. Their milk tea tasted amazing with strong tea and less sugar in it.
