Unlike some of the family members, I am not into boba at all, never ordered one for myself. Recently I tried a sip each of mango, strawberry and leeches w/ berries from others' cups and found the flavors to be quite nice. Although the 80% sugar level they ordered was way too sweet for me, I would probably go for 25% instead. TP was nice about splitting one drink into two cups for the children so they don't overdose on the sweet treat. Well, oolong and tea jelly sounds tempting, I will give it a try next time. read more

I'm not a boba person but have been on a desperate search for a really good fruit tea and tea jelly ever since we returned from Taiwan, and I finally found it at TP tea! The seasonal yuzu green tea still has good tea flavor and isn't overly sweet / artificial tasting (30% sweet), and they have the hard to find tea jelly. Very yummy! I ordered a strawberry lychee smoothie with boba and lychee jellies. It is and was so very delicious! You can taste the strawberry and the lychee! So delicious! This TP Tea location was conveniently right next to where we had dinner. Loved the drinks here it was so delicious. Easy ordering through the kiosk. Drinks came out quickly. My winter melon milk tea didn't taste very winter melon-y sadly, and my drink was watered down due to the ice melting. I wish I could've had an extra ice option so the drink would be cold and the ice would maintain its integrity. IMO the boba wasn't too sweet either which isn't my preference (but I love sweet boba so take that with a grain of salt). But the popcorn chicken was really good! You order at a kiosk. I ordered the Lychee Cube Pearl Fruit Tea. It came out within 5 minutes. It has a bit of an artificial lychee taste but I still like it! The cube pearl tastes a bit like sugar. I recommend you get it at 25% sugar as it's really sweet. There are about 6 small circular tables. It's a great place to hang out with friends if you can grab a table. The parking lot is big and there's lots of spaces if you come at the right time. read more

My friends and I decided to check out this place because we heard about the new Lychee drinks. I got the Velvet Lychee Fresh Milk Tea, 50% sweet, less ice, and with boba. The drink was ready in about 7 minutes. I'm typically not a fan of fruit milk teas because they tend to separate and not taste quite as cohesive as I would like, but I loved this drink! The milk tea struck a perfect balance of tea, milk, and lychee flavor. The boba was perfectly soft chewy, the milk tea was smooth, and the drink had a light sweetness to it. It was a Thursday evening, and there were quite a few people were there for the bogo deal. There are a few tables for seating, but most people were doing grab and go orders anyways. They had one kiosk for ordering. They had a restroom in the back which we had to ask the staff for access. This location is located in a plaza, so there was plenty of parking! It was before 11:30am and apparently they were not ready to open. So they told us not to order on the kiosk, not in a nice tone. Then we waited outside, the waitress came out and closed the door without saying a word. Rather rude in the whole encountering. Nevertheless, we went back after lunch for milk tea. It's the regular milk tea with boba. I found their tea too milky and lacking the tea flavor, the boba is also smaller than other places, making it hard to chew even though they were cooked softly and chewy. The place was clean with comfortable and stylish seating arrangements, but most people came for a take out order. The music was Chinese pop songs, not too bad. All matcha were not available. The only good impression is the price is relatively reasonable compared to some tea places, but still in the $6+ range. read more

TP Tea is always a stop after having dinner at the udon noodles place next door! There's a self-serve ordering "iPad" at the front where you place your drink orders. The drinks come out pretty quick so not much of a wait if you're in a hurry. Their mango passion smoothie and brown sugar boba milk are our usual drinks here. On the mango drink, you can adjust the sugar level down to 30% with an option for no milk or oat milk. For the brown sugar boba milk drink, the lowest sugar level is 50%. Whole milk is the only option on this drink. Both drinks are well-made and served in a one-size only tall cup. Scattered around the perimeter are a couple of two-seat tables with a long bench seating on the right side. I have been going here consistently since they opened in 2018, always opt for the Winter Melon Tea Latte here when Im in the mood for something a bit sweet no adjustments. When I want something a bit less sweet, I always get their Tie Guan Yin Latte 80% sweet and less ice. Overall if you like your milk tea creamy and tea forward tasting, this is your place. I got their Mango Tea Latte with Boba ($7.50) and their Strawberry Milk Tea with boba ($7.50). Boba per drink was an additional $0.75. Mango drink was a 3.5/5 stars. The mango flavor was nice but the overall drink was average. The strawberry drink was better, a 4/5 stars as the smoothie texture and flavor was nicely done. The white sofas inside were nice and comfortable and some Halloween decorations were up. I wanted a non-caffeinated option today since it was late afternoon and went with Moo! My Taro. I think it was just okay - I wish that the taro paste and the milk mixed together a bit better. Taro paste is sweetened and delicious, milk is just milk. The experience of drinking it felt like I only drank loads of the paste or just milk, where I would've much preferred to be able to drink both at the same time (I tried to mix the paste and milk as much as I could too). People really are serious about milk tea here! There were so many customers when I went around 3pm. The workers are quite efficient when putting together the order. Rounded up due to amazing service! Long-standing boba establishment located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. There's a tablet for ordering and they seem to only take orders via tablet, which can sometimes delay the line because people take time combing through the menu and navigating the tablet when ordering. They have some tables inside and outside but it's not the kind of place like a cafe where you'd want to stay for a while using your laptop. Many people come and go and sometimes their orders can get backed up because of online orders. Their drinks are pretty good, especially their tie guan yin! I've been to this TP Tea location in Cupertino many times, but this is the first time I'm doing a review specifically because I realize I have never written a thorough review, with my own thoughts and experiences. Given that this was the first boba place I'm going to in 2025, what better would it be than writing a review? Located at the Pacific Rim Shopping Center, it's not surprised that it is practically empty given that it is on New Year's Day. However, the inside of the shop was still bustling with people, and employees constantly having to fill in person orders, as well as orders for pick up and delivery. The prices of the Boba drink have significantly gone up, but compared to other boba shops, have stayed true to the quality of their tea and how specific the sweetness is for each drink (including ice). Me and my friend got the passionfruit green tea with boba (only I myself got the lychee jelly as an addition) -- and needless to say, it was one of the best things that I have gotten! Ambiance was pretty tight but overall very vibey. I'll definitely be coming back soon to check out the other different drinks that they have, but I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody! read more

I know everyone has their opinion on the best boba shop in the bay but my favorite is TP Tea. The tea quality I believe is just to my liking. My favorite is the strawberry milk tea. It has more of a slushy consistency which I prefer but I know that's not everyone taste. The tieguan is always a favorite of the people I'm around. It is quite strong though. The regular boba milk tea is also another one we order often. I would recommend ordering on the app first before you go. This location usually has a bit of a wait if you order in person no matter the day or time. I went at 2pm on a Wednesday and it still took about 15min+ to get our drink. They now have seating indoors but there isn't too much seating, especially with the amount of foot traffic that they have. We ordered the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (5/5) and the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with QQ Noodles, both at 15 percent sugar. The QQ Noodles doesn't have much flavor itself, but is fun to chew on without all the extra sugar from the boba. The drink itself had a smooth, light, and creamy texture. TP Tea Cupertino is one of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. Specifically this location, I tried the 2 other TP Tea location, they weren't as good as the Cupertino location. There's always a line, I recommend ordering online and picking up. The tea here is strong and flavorful. I tried a bunch of drinks on their menu, and my favorite is probably the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (15 or 30 percent sugar depending on how I feel). We also ordered the extra spicy popcorn Chicken (4/5). It had a nice spicy kick to it, the chicken was very tender and moist. It made me sweat a bit, but wasn't too spicy on the tongue. If I was to order again I would go for the spicy. This is my favorite spot that I have to stop by whenever I am in the area. The drink quality is consistently strong. The only thing I wish they were more flexible about is customizing the ice. I usually order one extra drink with no ice, since I want to save it for my long drive back to LA.
