I placed my order for a grapefruit tea with 25% sweetness and less ice, at their kiosk. They were really busy, which was no surprise, since it's the weekend. My drink was ready in about 5 minutes. What was served here was clearly pre-made, extremely watery, and overly bitter, not at all what you'd expect from properly prepared matcha. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea matcha and specifically asked for oat milk, which was a $1 add-on and I watched them make the drink and no oat milk was added. My fiance even asked if the drink had oatmilk upon receiving it and the staff confirmed Yes without hesitation.... This also did not taste like ceremonial-grade matcha, despite being advertised. Orders are taken through a kiosk, which can be inconvenient when the two people in front of you have seemingly never used a kiosk in their entire life and somehow take about ten to twenty minutes ordering. Once they were done, I was able to order the seasonal Pink Peach drink with 75% sugar. The drink was refreshing and sweet, though a tad too sweet for my taste. Regardless, the experience of drinking it remained pleasant the entire way through. Outside of the waiting (which was not the fault of Pink Pink Tea Shoppe at all), it was a nice experience. Drinks are not bad, but I feel iffy about their puddings. For drinks I tried the Brown Sugar Boba milk & the Strawberry Peach with boba. They were both tasty but definitely on the sweeter side. The boba itself was also good and just like your average boba shop. As for the coconut pudding, I tried the oreo mochi and the mango mochi. I typically love mochi in desserts, even the drinkable kind. However, the mochi on top of the pudding was super slimy and didn't mend well with the coconut pudding at the bottom of the jar. It was really hard to eat and I think the slimy-ness of it in combination with the already soft coconut pudding was a bit off putting. The mango puree and oreo crumbs were also way too sweet and masked the flavor of the coconut pudding. I also wish they chilled the puddings more, because they weren't that cold. I'd overall recommend this shop for a quick boba grab. It's not a bad option! I want to come back and try their soft serve to see if that's a better dessert option.
