We called Near Me Plumbing and they were quick to send a knowledgeable professional plumber (Quintin) to our home that same afternoon. Quintin assessed the problem and provided an initial solution, as well as a more comprehensive solution. He gave us price quotes for both solutions and we chose the comprehensive solution, which involved the installation of copper piping (see photo). Since it was very late in the day, we decided to schedule the work on a later date. Quintin sent us a formal job estimate later that evening. We approved the estimate, made the appointment, and Quintin returned to do the job efficiently and professionally. Second , The problem happened again a day later and we called a separate company that did the EXACT same thing for only $85 that he had charged us almost $800 for . Lastly , the new company also including a 90 day warranty & put a camera through the drain to figure why it happened again & they told us the drain wasn't cleaned out fully . So in the end we basically paid him for nothing . He must be paying for good reviews or having bad reviews removed because I know two separate people who have left bad reviews from their own issues with him and they are no where to be found. So hopefully this one stays up..... All he can say to me when I call back to let him know the issue is "you signed off saying it was good" ... this guy is out to scam you. I can promise you that. Lesson learned. EDIT: Just to make this clear for anyone looking for a good plumber, he responded to this review acting as I just called him and cussed him out, when in reality I called him the day after it happened and he told me I would have to pay for a new visit, (when he didn't even fix the issue to begin with) then continued to tell me it was my fault for signing off..
