Bagels were fresh but we prefer bagels to be entirely coated on both sides, not just the top as they do here. My everything bagel was scooped out and toasted well but the vegan cream cheese spread was minimal and tasted off. So my experience was mediocre. Pumpernickel breakfast bagel was Ok with decent amount of pork roll. Total of $12 for the two filled bagels, cash only. Clean interior and friendly staff.

Porkroll and cheese is staple for a Jersey girl. Especially for one who now lives in scrapple country. I come back to visit family and I rarely miss the opportunity to visit FaNagle the Bagel. I don't however write reviews very often, so im using yelp criteria. Food. Great! Bagels are fresh with just the perfect amount of porkroll and cheese. Service. Fast Friendly Efficient Ambiance. Plenty of space and seating. Its a beach bagel shop, not a fine dining restaurant. Its perfect.

I love their bagels. On weekends and lunch time there are often lines, but they move fairly fast. Plenty of parking.

in my opinion, the flour used to make the bagels is now a lower quality, and the lady at the counter was nasty, go elsewhere !

Pros: I loved the open view kitchen into the seating area…read moredesign. It makes the experience personable not to mention you can see how organized and clean the kitchen is. I received friendly and lighthearted service from the man who took my order. One thing that I thought was pretty cool and have never seen before was a "color wheel" for coffee. It was a visual way to show your preferences on what your preferences are on coffee appearance once the milk is added. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious, not too filling and made on very soft enjoyable bread. Room for improvement: Maybe because I stopped in at 1 pm on a Wednesday I felt like the seating area was poorly maintained. The floor really needed to be swept so it actually felt like of dirty sitting there eatting. There were a handful of people spread out with their laptops etc. One person was actively taking a call so it felt like you at work with them. Another had a small dog that she was carrying around people eatting while the leash/harness laid on the floor near her table. I'm all for dogs being allowed to be in eateries but the whole sit in experience felt dirty for me (especially based on the price I paid) and wouldn't be something I'd repeat. Long story short, the customer service while ordering is great but take your order to go.

I got an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, and it was absolutely amazing. The bagel was nicely toasted and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Their food menu looked amazing. The ambiance was very upscale & cozy. I can't wait to go back and try more! They also had some free baked goods as well.

What restaurant let along a breakfast spot send French toast and pancakes out for delivery with no butter or syrup. I called them up to be told that the owner was bringing me the butter and syrup. I waited outside for an hour just for him to never show up. I called them back was yelled at by one of the waitresses and called a not so nice name and then was told it was too busy and I should call DoorDash for a refund, I said that isn't gonna help me get my butter and syrup that u said u were bringing that I have been waiting over an hour for. So now my 44$ breakfast is cold and still hasn't been eaten this all started at 10 am it's now 11:51 am. It's a real shame as I have been going to the hungry hobo since I was in second grade and this will be the very last time I ever get a thing from them. Very disappointed in this place. I wish I could give it less than one star it should be in the negative.

I stopped by the Long Branch location, located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is pretty small. No seating available - just a register to order, counter, pick-up area, and merchandise section. They only operate as a grab-and-go. I can see it being cramped during rush hours in the morning... luckily I came by on a weekday afternoon and was the only one there. Rook prides itself on having a small and simple menu. They only sell hot pour-over single origin coffee and cold brew. They picked a few things to perfect and do really well. So for espresso lovers, you're out of luck. BUT don't let that steer you away because their drinks are phenomenal. They use high quality, premium beans. The employee was extremely helpful with guiding me through the menu and giving me recommendations. I love that milks and sweeteners are available at no additional charge! They also have decaf and half caf options. I ordered a Vanilla Cold Brew (regular size $5.50) with milk and sugar. And let me tell you... it was love at first sip! It was probably the best cold brew I've ever had. Super smooth, rich, and creamy. The vanilla flavor wasn't overpowering and added just the right amount of sweetness. I definitely understand why so many people love their coffee. I wish there were more locations closer to North Jersey because I can see myself becoming a regular. If you can't visit a storefront, you can buy their cold brew concentrates or coffee beans online. Don't sleep on Rook!
