Bagels were fresh but we prefer bagels to be entirely coated on both sides, not just the top as they do here. My everything bagel was scooped out and toasted well but the vegan cream cheese spread was minimal and tasted off. So my experience was mediocre. I would venture to say that the everything bagel I had this afternoon was the BEST I have ever had and I grew up in NY - home of the bagel! The everything part of the bagel was plentiful (I hate when it's mostly bald) and delicious! And the texture (very important) had just the right amount of chew! Been coming here on and off for years. Never truly satisfied and usually only because it's close to home. But enough is enough. This place is chaos behind the counter and unless you're just picking up a bag of bagels, you can flip a coin if your cooked order will be handled properly. First of all the bagels plain and simply are undercooked. I've had a few bagel aficionados test them. They are so doughy inside that you can gut them and then have a can of play dough for your kids. Seriously. Then if you dare to order a cooked sandwich, it depends. Is the person taking your order new? If so you will be overcharged and underserved. The training system for new employees is not good. I've seen so much turnover over the years they either don't pay enough or don't train enough or both. Over the years I've been overcharged, given the wrong sandwich, the wrong bagels, not the proper amount of bagels, etc etc. management needs to step up BIGTIME. If not for the location, and the proximity to the next nearest bagel shop, this place would simply not make it. Sorry not sorry. read more

I've eaten many bagels in my lifetime and can confidently say I've had the worse one ever from this hole in the wall. I will give them credit for consistency because I've consistently had horrible bagels from this place.
