I wish I could leave 0 stars for the hut on the boardwalk. I received an iced coffee that had curdled milk in it. They refused to remake the coffee because the milk was before the expiration date , visually the milk inside was curdled inside the container. The worker behind the counter was incredibly rude and one of the nastiest attitudes when all that was asked was to remake a coffee with new milk or give a refund. My husband picked up one dozen bagels this morning - that was my request. I live a good bagel. Unfortunately the bagels were SERIOUSLY not fresh. I m might even go so far as to say stale. So hard on the outside that when you go to cut them in half the knife almost slips off the bagel a little bit. Upon hosting it, the flavor was good, but I was disappointed in the solidness of the outside of the Bagels. One other thing is that one dozen bagels and one small container cream cheese cost nearly $32. We will try another place next time. On the plus side, the workers were friendly. Our daughter placed an order thru grub-hub on Sunday. When my husband went to pick it up, they made him wait an additional 30 minutes and told him to pay ( he didn't realize it was already paid). They should have known it was already paid. After we were already on the beach, we realized that the order was completely wrong and could not be eaten. They lied to our daughter on the phone, so my husband called back. They made no apology, were nasty and refused to give us a refund. Obviously we will NEVER go back! My friend told me that instead of using the credit card swiper, HE TOOK A PICTURE OF MY DEBIT CARD with his cell phone. I called the establishment and told them that I felt extremely uncomfortable. The person I was speaking to on the phone claimed to be the business owner and told me that this was common practice with all his deliveries. When I went to check the handwritten receipt he stapled to my bag; there was no total on my receipt. I had to call him back and ask him for a total. He told me if I wanted a copy of the receipt, I could go to the restaurant for one or wait a few hours for one to be delivered to me. (This phone call happened at 1:40pm and they close at 3:00 pm today!!) I have a feeling that I will never receive my receipt. I told him how uncomfortable I was with what his delivery guy did and he did not care. This is poor business practice, in a world where everyone is susceptible to identity theft.
