I called four companies. I chose 911 because Steve provided the BEST customer service. He explained the process. He gave me options and did not try to convince me. He let it be my option of what I wanted. Day of install they showed up on time. They placed tarp over everything all around the house. They cleaned up any mess on the ground, in the trees, on my 2nd level deck and at my neighbors. They wouldn't start working on the roof until my next door neighbor moved his car. They ring doorbell and knocked until they answered. They were also ready to have a worker stand up with a board to prevent any shingles dropping into their car if they did not answer. We walked the property, they showed me the damage boards and painted my stuff with a protective coating. I could not say how much I appreciate Steve and his crew. Steve's crew did an amazing job! We purchased a house with an actively leaking roof and knew it had to be replaced ASAP. We got a ton of quotes and scheduled the job on our moving day. They replaced our entire roof (2000+ sq ft ranch) in one day - had 10 guys and a foreman cranking. Arrived at 7am, we ordered them pizza for lunch as a thank you, and they were cleaned up and done by 3pm. It looks fantastic! We got several quotes from competitors, all ranging from $13-16K. Steve's fell in the middle and we chose him because his inspection was so thorough (I couldn't make it in-person so he sent me a video from my roof of his evaluation and called out all of our problem areas). His Yelp reviews are great, he's quick and responsive, quote and warranty are fair/reasonable, and his crew did a fantastic job. We did have one issue that I am very happy was resolved. The crew's tarp slipped during one application and they got tar on my gutter. The guys tried to scrape it off but it had hardened - they said they could paint over it but it wouldn't look perfect (I was not happy). Steve showed up to review the work that afternoon and when I pointed it out, he agreed he wouldn't want to look at the tar either and assured me he would replace the gutter. The house that we moved into recently had a small leak from the roof and I called several roofers to come inspect and provide suggestions and estimates. The suggestions ranged from replacing the shingles and flashing around the skylight to replacing the entire roof. After having a couple of other handymen try and repair a leak on my roof and several roofing companies come in and talk about all the different issues my roof had and try to sell me on a new roof each time. Roofer 911 exceeded all expectations. I almost did not request a quote because the name suggested more of who you call in an emergency. I expected emergency pricing and roof replacements to be a side job. This is not true. Steve tells me that 50 years ago he did mostly repairs, but now he does mostly replacements. After all the wonderful reviews here I really don't know what to say. I expected anyone involved with roofing to show up in a work truck with ladders so they could actually inspect the roof and skylight, and then possibly even do a temporary repair. Instead the estimator arrived in a little economy car without a ladder, then gave a high priced repair quote without even going on the roof to inspect the problem. I had mentioned that a storm coming the next day when I first spoke to the estimator who never mentioned he would not actually be able to do a temporary fix before the rain came. Plus, this outfit requires a credit card in order to schedule the job. So I went with an actual roofer, who showed up in a work truck with several ladders and went up on the roof to inspect the issue. His estimate for a brand new, custom-ordered Velux skylight is exactly the same price as Roofer911 wanted to charge to repair my existing 24-year old skylight. Plus, I didn't have to provide a credit card or deposit to get the new skylight ordered. Beware of any roofer who shows up at your house without a ladder. read more

They laid down a tarp in the front and the back of the house and then at the end cleaned everything up. They placed all our plants and other things that were in the yard back in their original positions. They're even going to come back to adjust our downspout because we're going to put a patio in.
