I also have a shea butter allergy, and the staff were very responsive and attentive when I mentioned it before my appointment. They helped identify which keratin smoothing treatment would be safe for me, which I really appreciated. Ultimately, I have stopped getting services here because over the last 5 years the cost of their services keep rising while the quality of services have drastically declined. Especially when it pertains to a haircut. They have very limited stylist that can give you a haircut for under $100. Even then, their techniques are very outdated and all of the stylists cut the same way because they have the same training. I have gotten my haircut a few times now from a new provider- not only was she reasonably priced but I absolutely loved the way she cut my hair. It has made me realize how much money I have wasted at Mario over the years getting services I did not like. With all of that being said, The colorist at this location are amazing. I do not color my hair anymore but I would 1000% go back to Mario to see Lena for color. I will never get a haircut at a Mario franchise again.

She wasn't even part of the Yelpers (just a restaurant patron) and was telling me that she is a hairdresser herself and she can spot a great highlight job when she sees it (that sounded redundant). I was so flattered! Rosemarie is usually booked up so I know I have to call in advanced to get an appointment. She is worth the wait, though! When I was out of the country, I had to go to another hairstylist because I couldn't hold out any longer (I waited 4 months!!) and it was a mess. I went back to her as soon as I got back to have the disaster fixed. Her prices are amazing!! AMAZING! Men's haircut is $20, Woman's haircut is around $40 and color varies depending on the hair length. For the haircut, she shampoos, cuts, blow dries, and then texturizes. She's an expert colorist and I've seen some of her clients that came from other salons to have their color fixed because it was a mess.
