I needed a a spray tan and couldn't find someone two days before my trip. I called the Salon and they connected me immediately to their airbrush spray tan tech. I called and she called me right back. She not only got me in but fit me in the same day!! I hadn't had a airbrush spray tan before. I chose to do it nude. The facility was very clean and the restroom area to change was very nice and sanitary. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. She was great at conversation, explaining the process and very professional. I did get water on my leg at home but it was my fault so a little self tanning lotion and problem averted. Great salon! Everyone is really nice and great at their job! I get my lashes done there and I get compliments on them ALL THE TIME! They are reasonably priced. They focus on a more natural look rather than the "fake" look, however...if you are looking for that, I'm sure they can do it. Overall I absolutely LOVE my lashes and cannot imagine myself without them! I have also gotten spray tanned. Color was very even and beautiful. I also felt very comfortable and not at all awkward while getting sprayed. Anyway, I highly recommend Fabulous to anyone! They are amazing! read more

Best place in Humboldt for spray tanning! I have to tan this way otherwise I will likely develop instant skin cancer. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's in a weird neighborhood, everything is gray until you open the doors and your eyes almost have to adjust to all the leopard print and pink in the room. I love it! read more

Great place to go for tanning. I haven't used any of the other services offered, but you can get your hair or nails done here, facials, lashes, etc. Very friendly ladies, lots of parking available as well. read more

Like Bonnie (the other reviewer) I also bought their promotional card because it seemed like a great deal. I was unable to make appointments to redeem the things on my card for months because they were booked. I understand a lot of people bought these cards, but if you are going to offer a promotion at least be able to fulfill your end of the deal. I was finally able to get some time with them to get a tan, hair done, etc., and I found out that they do not call you the day before your appointment like most salons do. This was very annoying to me because I booked several different services with them and I like to have confirmation calls about what I will be getting done. They need to get it together and get a receptionist that can time manage and make reminder calls! read more

I love the Mystic tanning but these people NEVER pick up the phone! I always try them first but end up going elsewhere because they never answer the phone!!!! Frustrating. The machine tells you to leave a message and they will call back but they never do...bummer. read more

What a joke. Fabulous sold what they pitched to be a gift certificate/promotional deal just before Valentines Day. My husband bought one for me and I've been trying to make appointments since February, only to have them call and cancelled. I tried to make an appointment again today July 14th (expiration date Aug 8) only to be told that they will not honor it because they are booked through the end of the promotional period. So, our money is gone and I get no services. What a sweet thing to do for our community for Valentines Day. They supposedly sold 500 of these things throughout our community. I wonder - how many others are getting denied???? read more

This place sucks bewtyhole. I got my my nails done by an obviously inexperienced manicurist that placed her own opinion onto my nails. The edges were not filed nor painted and I sat there for an hour and a half only for acrylics. The gel polish boiled and was wet when I arrived home. Check your employees before hiring! read more

I personally don't like the mystic tan, the machine is just not as nice as having someone do it. A couple of people have told me I look orangey and streaky :/ The spray goes right up into your face, since you're stuck in a box. That's the only service I've tried here. Customer service was great tho! that's what the two stars are for. read more

Like Bonnie and Honey (the other reviewers) I bought one of the promotional cards sold by Pink Sugar and I had a completely different experience. It was one of the best things I have ever purchased! The girls at the salon are so sweet and they really are amazing at what they do. After reading the reviews and seeing that some people may not have been serviced, I can see the frustration. I also had a bit of problem scheduling just because I would sometimes leave a message and not get a call back or they would be booked weeks in advance. I took it as a good sign that they were busy with many other clients. I finally decided that I needed to just make all of the appointments at once. The receptionist was so patient with me and took the time to book all 6 of the services when I asked her even thought it took about 20 minutes to find something that worked with my schedule (I work a 9-5 M-Sat). I don't find it to be a problem that they don't call the day before your appointment. I had her repeat all my appointment times so I could write them down and keep track of them myself. I guess it's just personal preference. It's such a shame to hear that others didn't have the same great experience I did. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone that I know. I loved every service that I got on that card and I will definitely be going back again! If you really want to get pampered and come out feeling beautiful, this is the place to go! read more
