Stopped for appetizers since we ate prior. Just wanted something small. Dtr got Chicken Bites & smoothie, husband got salad and I had potato soup. All great. Got garlic pita with my soup that was great with my dtr's marinara sauce. And the garlic pita was a great addition to my husband's salad. Satisfied and tasty. We were with our older dtr's sports team of 20 adults; all able to sit together. For the size of order the wait time was super reasonable. All got served together and portions were perfect. The service is good; our waitress was on her game. My son ordered the bolognese sauce, and neither of us could eat it. Every time I order from here I try to eat something new -- the wings are a sure bet always! Their salads are fresh and delicious. Had some skirt steak and linguine with Alfredo sauce which was so amazing! The onions and red peppers were a surprise and I am not sure that I liked it so much although It didn't take away from the overall lovely message. The staff here are friendly and courteous. I recently stayed in the Royal Sonesta and this restaurant was in walking distance. This place was reasonably priced which isn't easy to find in a tourist location. I only had the pizza, a beer, and a grapefruit margarita. My total was about $30. It was fresh and delicious. It might be because of the pandemic but I waited over an hour and a half for an order of pizza, bread sticks, and water to take to my room. I was tired and just wanted to eat and get to bed since I had a early flight, I would have been better off throwing on something and walking to a different restaurant (or even going to Burger King next door). This rating doesn't include anything about food taste (since I still haven't tasted anything). I understand that restaurants are currently understaffed and overwhelmed, I always keep in mind that this is very hard work, however with that said this is just ridiculous! I honestly feel like I would have been better off eating inside as I saw a whole family of five that was sitted when I first ordered leave before I received my food. 2 stars ONLY for operating under COVID conditions, but... The sauce tastes like tomato soup out of a can. The pizza crusts are too doughy. Meatballs are ok and are served plain (unlikely made on-site, unless they're boiled.) Chicken parm is cooked well, but over salted. --These are all likely true without a pandemic. Be prepared to wait for your cold pizza, meatballs and spaghetti, even if ordering hours ahead of time. The waitstaff is very friendly and apologetic, but can't save the low quality food. Do yourself a favor and just go to Pizza City a few steps away. Way better pizza (no comparison) and very fast service + outdoor dining if you can get a table. read more

I know what you're thinking. "Who gets Italian food in Puerto Rico?" We did! & it was DELICIOUS!!! This restaurant was in the lobby of the hotel we stayed at & the aroma from the pool pulled us in. My daughter got the shrimp scampi over linguini w/mozzarella. I played it safe with Lasagna. Both dishes were awesome. Cooked to perfection! Their signature drink is the Mamma Mia Margarita. When the waiter brought it out, it was green on top, yellow in the middle and red on the bottom. I tried to get a picture of it, but by the time my camera loaded, the green had since into the yellow part. Lol. I also ordered a sangria but was only able to take a few sips before I started feeling tipsy. I'll definitely come back the next time I visit Isla Verde. read more

Our waitress, who never told us her name, was friendly and professional. She took our drink order (happy hour from 4pm to 7pm) and recommended we shared an appetizer. The vibe of the place is like a NYC-style pizzeria and it was great to be at the hotel enjoying one of the two restaurants onsite. We spent around $25 including tip for three people. Pizza takes way too long. Do NOT get the pesto sauce. It is some weird green sauce but not pesto at all. It doesn't even smell like basil or garlic. I had to ask for garlic and fresh basil to make my pizza edible. I would not come back ever again. read more

I wanted a light dinner so I came here since I was staying at the hotel. I ordered chicken wings and caesar salad with chicken. Good thing I wanted a light meal before the wings were very small. I'm not even sure they came off chickens. The salad was meh. Nothing memorable about it. The dressing appeared to be from a bottle served on the side in a small condiment cup. The best part of my meal was the Medalla Light and that was $3.85/bottle instead of $2.50 elsewhere but then this is a hotel restaurant. read more

Find another place for pizza. Crust was like a cracker , dry and no flavor. The toppings were scarce a few sprigs of basil and almost no tomatoes. When I asked where the toppings were, server said "under the cheese". Nope. A "large" pizza it was at best medium at any other place. Not cheap either $17 . I had to send it back because it was undercooked but that didn't help. No flavor whatsoever. Could have gotten a frozen pizza for half the price and would have been better. Honestly I'd choose Dominos over this place, mostly because I immediately felt sick after eating 2 slices of pepperoni. The crust is thin (which I prefer) but extremely doughy. The sauce lacks any flavor and there is so much cheese on this thing (yes there is a thing as too much cheese) that it's falling off. Tonight, I decide to walk to the Howard Johnson where this Faccio's is located. It is a nice little place attached to the hotel. The service was prompt and the place was nice and clean so no argument there. I got the buffalo chicken wings and the pizza con chorizo, which by the way is pepperoni. The wings turned out beter than I expected. They weren't over fried and tasted pretty good. The pizza though was a little bland. I tried saving it by drinking an Anchor Liberty Ale, which was super cold! (just how i like it). but to much avail the pizza was nothing special. Next time I'll try one of the specialty pizzas and hopefully I'll be better satisfied by my choice, but this time I was left wanting something better. Had pizza delivered to our hotel. We're less than a mile away, but our pizza took 40 min to arrive and was only warm. It was decent pizza, but probably would have been better served in their restaurant. For example there was very little marinara sauce on the pizza, and I'm a person who likes extra sauce. The hubby would have preferred some Italian seasoning as well. Still, their pizza is better than the one our hotel offers. But let's not kid ourselves here, this isn't the best pizza ever...
