I love this place! Their Tigers Milk Tea Boba is my favorite! It's very sweet and the cinnamon makes the whole drink for me. Sweet Street is the first local business I have checked out since moving..in the middle of a pandemic...and located just blocks from my new home, which, after trying their goods, could potentially be dangerous.. Sweet Street is located directly across from the boardwalk, and easily accessible whether you are walking around the area or parking. It's a very small store, but it offers so much! Everything from housemate fudge, to ice cream made from local dairy, bubble teas, even some more..exotic and adventurous offerings, like Hot Lix ant lollipops! I stopped in early afternoon, on a Monday. Pre Covid, I heard this place is usually packed, but it was a ghost town when I visited. With social distancing being the new norm, I wasn't upset about it! The store is small, but very clean and well organized. The candy and other sweets are spread throughout the store with other like minded products. They make a ton of candies and sweets in house, including fudge and caramel apples! I chose to get boba (Thai tea) almond roca, fudge, and a caramel apple. Hey, don't judge me! It was all bought in mind to share with others! The boba was ok. The tapioca pearls had def been sitting all day, they had gotten slimy and overly chewy. The tea itself was nice, if not a touch overly sweet. I may try other flavors here at some point. Fudge is great! We chose 6 different flavors, with the plain fudge being the clear favorite. Smooth, rich, so good! The almond roca was just ok. It was a little too hard for my liking. Caramel apple is amazing! Tangy green apple, velvety caramel enveloping it like a warm blanket, and a criss cross chocolate and almond turtle coating. I look forward to grabbing a fresh one before strolling the boardwalk during fall. Dreamy! Prices are average for any local sweets shop-everything I bought came to a little over $40. I am not local but am in Coos Bay every few months. I went in planning to buy some fudge. I've bought there before, and it is pretty good. The case has glass in the front on the customer side, but was open in back on the counter side. A few of the pieces in the case were wrapped, but most were not. There were multiple flies crawling around on the fudge. I asked the young woman helping me if they had any more that was wrapped. There were clearly additional whole pans of fudge below (with covers), so I asked if it would be possible to get some from there, rather than the pieces that were out in the open. She said yes at first but then took the pan in back to cut some, and another woman came from the back with her (owner maybe?) and said no, I could not have any of the fudge from the pans. They had to sell what was already out first. I did not want fudge that had been walked on by flies all morning, so I bought a few pieces of commercially wrapped candy and that was it. No fudge. Frankly, with the open counters and several flies crawling on the fudge the whole time we were talking, I was pretty okay with not getting anything that came from that kitchen. I won't be back. The young woman who helped was very nice. I believe she was new. read more

The Caramel Apples were Excellent, We had both the Cheddar and Caramel Popcorn it was perfect. The lady's who helped out were so friendly, I saw they had Cotton Candy as well as Hawaiian Shaved Ice. There Chocolates in the glass case were low priced, I was so pleasantly surprised how cute the shop is and how clean everything was. I will be returning again and again. This brought me back to my childhood with all the candy in glass jars and candy you don't see anymore.
