    WOW!

This place is legit! Samples are fresh and numerous. You can really see them making the cheese. Bobby helped us and was so kind. The sandwiches were delicious and plentiful. This is a must stop if you're driving through. We had to get some to take home because it was just so good. Prices were completely reasonable as well.

Good & affordable ice cream. Mint chip kids' size was just $2.50. Service was slow (only one worker), but worth the wait.

    Cheese please

They have many types of yummy curds that you can taste prior to purchasing. There's cheese, wine, ice cream and meals prepped in a deli like set up. I was disappointed in the poor cracker selection.

I live here in Bandon, I love the food. I love the cheese. I love the ambience It is absolutely a beautiful building inside and out. There's a little creek that runs along the side where you can hang out in the shade. I buy the little premade gift boxes they have for my family every year for Christmas. " they just love it " they are very generous with their ice cream as well and it is yummy. Most of the staff that I have dealt with is very polite spot on and have really good suggestions, especially when it comes to buying the variety boxes of cheese. However, there are two women that work there that judge you by your appearance. I because I am a local patron of the face route creamery I have been known to go in there with shorts and T-shirt in the middle of August , new shorts, new shirt Nike tennis shoes. I walked in to pick up three bags of cheese curds as I had family coming from Portland to visit. The woman smirked at me and looked me up and down. She asked me if she could help me or if I was lost. I told her I was in there for three bags of cheese curds and then asked her. Why would you ask if I was lost? She told me that this is a very nice establishment and most of our business is tourist business and we are not accustomed to seeing people walk in with shirt and shorts. I told her that that was rude and continued with our purchase of three bags of cheese curds. So if you are a tourist, I would not recommend going there wearing a shirt and shorts brand new or not. Other than that, I would highly recommend the face rock creamery. When they first opened up, they had to most perfect Havarti cheese I have ever ate. I have been in several times and asked and so far no luck. But it is an absolute must do if you happen to go in and they have it available.

EDIT: I did finally get a response from the info email address. They did refund the purchase price of the cheese, offering an explanation that "USPS does not allow the shipper, just the receiver, to dispute the shipping charges". Adjusted my rating to denote the eventual effort to make things right, and expect Face Rock will be filing a claim of their own to compensate themselves for their loss. Still, 2 days after the point in time the problem was reported is pretty long. Original review: While an in-person experience may be significantly better, I can't say their online shop/service instills any sense of loyalty or willingness to buy from them. My one and only experience has been extremely poor. To start, their info and orders email accounts don't appear to be manned, or they just chose to ignore the messages I sent to both addresses, with my order number in the subject. I started emailing them when USPS had miss-routed my shipment asking if it would survive the extra transit time, should I be concerned, etc. No responses to any of them. When my shipment finally arrived, a full 6 days after it was shipped out which in and of itself was a full 5 days after my order was placed, the cold packs had long since given out, the cheese was at 72 degrees Fahrenheit, definitely not refrigerated or safe. So I did exactly as their FAQ on their website stated to do, I called their Orders and Shipment department the next day (they were closed the day my package arrived), which rang to voicemail. No big deal, I left a voicemail with my name, phone number, order number, and the issue. After 3 hours, I didn't get a call back, so I called again. This time I finally talked with someone who essentially did not care and told me to file a claim with the post office, but she'd talk with her manager and see what they could do and call me back the following morning. If you're guessing I never did get that call, you're correct. Since Face Rock has made it clear they have no interest in working with me to make things right or help, I've filed a complaint with Shop and with my credit card. Thanks for making my one and only experience with your company so poor that my friends and I no longer have any interest in your products. I hope the $30 you got from me was worth it.

Strong bold flavor - so good.

Cheese is a 10/10, and they have a board that shows wine and cheese pairings. Went off that and was able to pair a riesling wine with an alpine cheese. So good! Only bummer was that they didn't make their own icecream... you can get Umpqua icecream anywhere.

Was up at my Aunt's house in Bandon, and wanted to hit this place up! I got some ice cream (Cranberry Cheesecake) and some cheese (Vampire Slayer garlic cheddar, and some Aged Cheddar cheese). Ice cream portions are MASSIVE. A childs scoop is literally 3 scoops. A regular is like 4 scoops. The cheeses were great! A little pricey, but worth it for the quality. Had a great stop with my Aunt and Brother to sample their fine dairy offerings! Would be back often if I lived in the area!

Gigantic portions of ice cream scoops, samples available of all the cheese you'd ever want to try, and tons of seating (with a view). The truffle cheddar is amazing. The ice cream itself is reasonably priced. Not sure if I would recommend any other type of food here but for the cheese and ice cream - its a hit!

Never been before. Hesitant because it was a creamery.... Flat bread pizza was amazing! Giant pretzel and beer cheese was amazing! Quick service. Nice and clean! I was very surprised and definitely recommend FaceRock Creamery!

It is sad not to have fresh curds in the bags. This is NOT a good change. Bring back the bags.

I ordered the Charlie, a fresh tuna sandwich with dill, tomato, and a balsamic reduction. My wife chose the turkey sandwich, made from whole roasted turkey that is cooked and sliced in-house, served with Dijon mustard, provolone, and fresh greens. We opted for the gluten-free bread, which was excellent, but they also offer house-made bread that looked and smelled amazing. We paired our sandwiches with the vegetable soup, which was hearty, loaded with vegetables, and seasoned beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, carefully prepared, and made with real attention to quality. What surprised us most was that this isn't just a sandwich shop. The store carries an impressive selection of premium spices, sauces, and specialty foods. We left with a powerful chili paste that will be perfect with smoked pork chops and a coconut curry sauce that came with a recipe for a coconut curry rice dish we're looking forward to making at home. Be sure to save room for dessert. They offer a variety of both gluten-free and traditional baked goods. I tried the chocolate ball and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere made the experience even better. While we were eating, beautiful piano music filled the room. We were amazed to discover it wasn't recorded music at all--it was being performed live by Michelle, a concert-trained pianist. Her partner, Steve, has an equally interesting background, having brewed beer for the Grateful Dead. Their passion and personality are woven into every part of the business. The food quality was exceptional, yet the prices were remarkably reasonable. It's rare to find a place that combines outstanding food, specialty products, live music, and genuinely interesting people under one roof. If you're passing through Gold Beach, don't miss it. Highly recommended.

Nothing interesting or groundbreaking about these boards for the prices in my opinion. Everything seemed liked basic grocery store items and I make more artisanal and elevated boards just at home. Service was subpar. Table of 2 & they asked for my ID to seat us at the bar -- we didn't plan to sit there but that's what seemed available to them. was there at a very slow point of the day. The place itself is small and not very spacious. Overall my first experience at this could have been way better and I did expect more. I also visited the store that is interconnected -- bought a few items including a coconut blondie. The blondie was delicious but service in the store was just the same as the restaurant.
