Aster's poor review should be flagged for removal. I have only been seeing Lisa for 5 years, but Lisa had completely changed my life. When Face value decided to relocate, Lisa did send out several notices about her relocation, as well as personally emailing everyone prior to their visits, with a clear notice that she moved, with the new address, clearly stating she was on OLD Middlefield. Lisa treats every season individually, and adapts her treatment plan accordingly. She builds a personal bond with all of her clients, making each treatment more interpersonal. The fact that she had been seeing this woman for the last 20 years prior should say something, and the fact that Aster's negative comments along with several other negative posts more recently should reflect on the poster, not the servicer. read more

Lisa is the absolute best! She's been "designing" my eyebrows for years and they always look perfect--never red or irritated after the visit either! She's extremely knowledgeable about skin and skincare products. Although I go for only eyebrow waxing, she has given me countless samples of skin care products and makeup for my extra-sensitive skin. I now purchase these products from her on a regular basis. She's kind, caring, and all of my friends who have visited her, have loved her. Her studio is beautifully decorated and relaxing. Lisa gives a great facial. She takes the time to tailor it to your skin and takes your preferences into account. I have sensitivity to chemical scents, She used products on me that were natural and didn't cause any reaction. The extractions were extremely gentle. She was able to do a good job without taking me out of the relaxed zone. I can tell Lisa cares about doing a good job for the client. I also appreciated that afterwards, she didn't do the hard sell of products that is so common. If people are interested in products, they're displayed and they'll ask. She did give me a free sample of a product, which speaks for itself. It might have been difficult to find the exact building or suite, but Face Value's website has clear and easy directions. She will evaluates your skin each visit and treats it as needed. You leave with a glow; your skin is so healthy and feels like silk. I used to be a faithful and loyal customer of Lisa's. There is no doubt she is talented, but I'm offended that more than two decades of coming to see her warranted no forgiveness on her part when she moved from Hospital Ave. to Old Middlefield. She could have sent out a colorful, attention-getting ad ahead of time to prevent customers from going to her old address. This is what I did until I reread her confirmation email. Then I wound up driving up and down Middlefield Road only to find out she relocated to OLD Middlefield Road. To follow up with a cold notice that I would have been charged twice for missed appointments did not help. I have heard nothing back from her and it's just as well. Lisa does GREAT facials! She is very gentle and doesn't leave me with horrible marks all over my face for a week after, like I've gotten several times from LaBelle. Those marks scared me from getting facials, but I've gone to Lisa several times now and the fear is gone. The price is very reasonable, and her office is nice and comfortable!
