The facial itself was decent, but the ambiance was not. I was expecting a spa-like atmosphere to relax, instead it felt more like a barbershop. As another poster mentioned, there was no privacy as clients were just seated next to each other. These ladies are so nice. I had to make some last minute rearrangements to my schedule after scheduling my facial for me and my partner. The ladies we're so kind and trying to be flexible and get us in on the day we scheduled. I was very grateful especially because I was so excited to get a facial for the first time. They didn't disappoint it was a very relaxing experience and especially for someone who doesn't really like peoples all in/on their face, they were very gentle they let you know what they were doing before they did it, very knowledgeable. The establishment itself is really pretty on the inside but still has a sort of neutrality to it to where it's welcoming for all genders. This is a family ran establishment which I absolutely adore. Me and my partner had the mother daughter duo so it was awesome to see them work side-by-side. I also appreciated that although they did speak and hold conversation which was really fun they also provided a downtime/quiet time. which let me know that they really care about the customers experience because of course in a spa environment it really is supposed to be relaxing and they really really were trying to make sure that we were comfortable. Was awesome. Luckily for me I don't have too many skin issues or concerns so it was nice to hear that I really didn't have a lot to extract or too much dirt or anything going on with my skin. I didn't have any pressure to purchase any future sessions or do any special treatment I believe they actually even threw in a couple of treatments we didn't pay for which was so nice. And I mean really no hard car salesman type of deal here they're not selling products they're not selling anything they're just providing the service you paid for so it's almost as if if you want another service you'll need to subscribe to it yourself. My daughter and I wanted to go for a facial together and Facialology was able to accommodate us both at the same time. This was the first time we had a facial with Facialology and it was such a treat. I had Gloria and my daughter had Alicia. We both had the signature facial but these ladies took our skin types and needs into consideration and customized our facials accordingly. They communicated everything they were doing and what to expect (it might be cold, this towel is hot, I'm placing coverage on your eyes to protect from the light, I'm using a pumpkin mask, etc.). One last thing, they didn't try to sell products to us at all. That's always such an uncomfortable part of getting a facial when the provider gives you the list of products you should buy from them. I always get so stressed out which is the opposite of how I want to feel afterwards.
