I have been to many an antique mall and this one may be big but there was nothing that interested me at all. I like vintage costume jewelry, watches, vintage clothing and cocktail shakers and bar stuff, Art Deco and mid century design. Didn't see any of that. A lot of mediocre stuff from the 90s or later. This place is a freaking gem. I'm shocked that there are no reviews here. It's a maze of old used stuff- be prepared to freak out. It's overwhelming. A warehouse the size of religion- no walls.. just dealer stands.. You can find 80s toys, 70s clothes... old guns.. whatever. A lot of the stuff is overpriced. A lot of the stuff is cheap as dirt. I found zippos for five bucks a piece, a deal.. and I found army jackets for a hundred, a ripoff.. it's just that there are so many dealers and so much stuff. This place is huge and a bit overwhelming. But I will say that for the size it's pretty well organized. You don't have to worry about tripping all over the place due to crowded aisles. But you do have to worry about not knowing where to look because it's just so much. I spent an hour in here just looking around. I found old guns, beautiful jewelry, a coffin for a baby (which disturbed me), books- old and new, toys, clothing...it was just a lot. I can't really comment on the prices because I was just browsing. The only thing I saw the price of was about $645...and that was the baby coffin. read more

My second visit was even more fun. I only bought two books, but I found an Oak office chair for $39(!) & a lovely green victorian sofa ($350!). Unfortunately, neither item fits into a roadster. I ran out of time browsing, but I'll be back this summer & we will have an SUV! Other than that HUGE warehouse with everything from military, antique guns, jewelry, furniture, vintage clothes, glassware, a drum set, a mini car from Coney Island-you name it-they got it. The bookseller in the middle rear is a nice older gentlemen. He had a 50% off sale & has an impressive collection. Another gentleman has immense collection of maps (Jed Hotchkiss prints:Civil War buffs will get that). Everyone was nice & I had a blast! They even have mini-carts for shopping (purse carrier!). Really wasn't a fan. It may be the largest antique mall in the U.S. but there was really nothing in there worth buying for the price in my book. Would've loved a cool vintage civil war-era map, but everything was so pricey. An amazingly large selection of antiques all under one roof. I like the grid layout as it kept me from losing my wife and also gave us a clear action plan to see everything. We rushed and saw most everything in 3 hours. Wear good walking shoes! Good prices and an eclectic selection of antiques for all likes. We'll be back the next time we are in the Valley! read more

Basically, one BIG flea market... Very few good antiques there and those that are are overpriced... It's great if you like "junque" but to me it was a BIG disappointment and a waste of time... Had a great time and as I had hurt my knee the day before, I had been all set with a book to sit at the cafe. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wheelchair available so I could maneuver my way thru all the booths. Several staff members seemed happy to help as I needed it. About as good as it gets. So big though that it would take the better part of a day to get through it. Some of the china booths are so packed, I don't like going into them. Which is a problem. I collect just about everything, so if your booth is so packed that it gives me anxiety, you should probably re-examine the layout. I don't know, maybe put one of each style out as an example, and not all 35 pieces. Other than that, very wide selection of items, and a ton of it. Have fun!! read more

Great antique/collectible store but some of the employees need "customer service" training. I paid a 2 hour visit Thursday 2/27, filled my basket with some nice items. However as has happened on previous occasions when going to check out, I'm met with a long wait. Today I waited 15 mins, first in line while 2 employees helped one customer check out. Neither made an effort to call for back up or acknowledge those of us in line. A third employee walked behind the counter and I asked if she could get another checker. She snapped "I'm helping a customer". Jason Brinkley, store manager appeared and I asked him as well, his curt reply was that they were trying to get through with employee breaks. Any manager should know you don't offer excuses pertaining to employee break issues, but take action and address the customer complaint/comment. Another employee as well as Mr Brinkley then did begin checking myself and others out. Mr Brinkley.....you advertise "The Largest Antique Mall in America!". I hardly think two employees serving one customer are enough to operate the checkout point for a store of this size. I did see numerous employees walking the floor while I was shopping. Maybe consider calling for backup as needed? I'd hate for your vendors to lose sales due to inadequate checkout staffing and just walk out leaving their attempted purchases behind. Mind-numbingly big! A huge selection of depression glass, serving-ware and more - but not necessarily very unique or stand-out. I found a few books, which was nice. There's a large collection of cast iron across the entire mall, however most of it is overpriced for what it is. I'd recommend this to folks willing to browse for hours and maybe find one good deal, but not the treasure-hunter personality. read more

We're fans, having shopped here for several years. One of those "must stop" places along I-81 whenever we are in the area. Lots to pick from, and a couple of very specialized dealers. I am a fan of vintage industrial, and this mall always has more than any other one that I know of. Several reviews had been critical of pricing. We find the dealers consistently priced at-the-market: not overpriced, not underpriced, but exactly what I would expect to pay. Well worth the stop. read more

After driving from Fredericksburg, VA we were pretty disappointed in the type of merchandise offered having been here 2 previous times. I don't think we'll be back. The vast majority was what I considered flea market/new/chalk paint type stuff. There are not a lot of quality antiques, and if there was a decent item if was so overpriced considering damage/age/quality it was laughable. If you like vintage, shabby chic, flea market stuff this is the place for you. If you are looking for quality antiques it is honestly no longer worth the trip. read more

Antiquing isn't what it used to be and The Factory Antique Mall is just one more example. On a recent visit to this co-op in July 2012 my traveling companion and I found it mostly full of junk. This place is amazing. They have everything you could think of. I collect military stuff and they have a lot of it including German military items. The employees are friendly & helpful. Today I visited the Antiques Mall as I have done many times when we are in the area. I found a small cedar box ( with some misc. items of no real value inside ) . Along with other items we were to purchase a gracious young person took the items to the front desk until I was done shopping. When I went to pay and leave the counter clerk informed me that she had called the vendor to inquire if the items in the box were included in the sale and the vendor indicated they were not....I questioned the motive of the clerk and she said that people put items in boxes and trunks in a attempt to steal them...I was enraged she was suggesting that I was stealing merchandise she was completely false, demeaning and embarrassing. I was not about to have this clerk have her way, I completed my purchase minus the contents and left. Unacceptable behavior she needs customer care lessons...or to become the bathroom attendant. read more

I drove 150 miles to come to this mall because there advertising look great. However once I wasted my time my gas and the cost of a rental car to get there here is what I observed. Also Before I explain I have been buying and selling antiques and collectables for over 40 years so my following comment is true. Approximately 60% of the mall has new items and new items made to look old. The antiques that are there are not in great condition and are priced like they are and anything that is in great shape is grossly over priced. Not a good experience! I would not go back. read more

You could spend a year in here without seeing everything. The board game section is one of our favorites. My husband always picks up at least one vintage game. There is food available, but it's not the greatest. You can get a deal on just about everything. There are some nice old traps, tools, and knives. read more

They advertise themselves as the largest antique mall, and I can believe it. The place is huge! We're retired and live locally and head there 2-3 times a year. I'm always looking for books, and my husband for record albums, and we always find some. I also like the tupperware, corning ware, and other kitchen stuff. There's a great bookstore near the front with new books and Americana. Wear comfortable shoes--the floor is cement and a killer. There are benches for resting and a small cafe for a sandwich and soda. There are a few booths we've learned to pass by because the prices are too high even with their "markdowns." But there are more than enough other places that you'll enjoy, and you'll be hard pressed to finish. We enjoy seeing many things we remember from our childhood and early adulthood that we wished we'd hung on to, but I'm not going to buy them again! Ha! If you like secondhand and antique stores, you'll love it. read more

Huge huge store! Plan at least 3 hrs to browse. Higher prices but that happens when you have a ton of vendors. Many have 10-20% off. Variety is insane though. We always hit antique stores in our travels. They have seriously a little of everything. read more

Just spent a few hours there, terribly disappointed. Lots of junk at high prices. Some of the items were cheaper at retail stores, like the local farm supply and Ikea. Got to be better places to go for antiques and older items. read more
