With Such a Horrendous, Unbearable, and Disorganized Experience we had; this is By Far the Worst Home Owners Nightmare we have Encountered.. Looking for a Company to Reface Our Kitchen Cabinets along with Our Backroom Cabinets I came across a Yelp Friend that Promotes Factory Direct. After getting In-Contact with Daniel at Factory Direct he Scheduled Us an Appointment with Bruce the Interior Designer. Bruce came over with All Color Options, Designs, and Insight. We Fell In-Love with Everything he pitched (A Great Salesman). We pulled the Trigger with an Estimate to have the Cabinets Refaced in 2 Days, No Longer than a Week. All Cabinets were Measured and we were Introduced to Maurice the Contractor and Jason the Project Manager. They Submitted Our Order after Measuring and some Provisions to Our Kitchen such as taking out the Wine Cabinet, Placing Cabinet Doors on Our Microwave Opening, and More. We were Excited and Very Confident that this was going to be a Smooth Transaction. Once the Cabinets came in from the Manufacture, Instillation was Scheduled and Maurice began his work. Two Days turned into Two Weeks then in-turn was not Complete for Over SIX Months... With Over a Dozen Re-Orders and Send-Backs of the Cabinet Doors they still Returned to Us with Blemishes, Scratches, and Unpleasing Finished Work. On top of this Headache, Maurice was Unprofessional, Careless, Sloppy, and Disorganized which in turn falls to the Project Manger Not doing his Job or caring about the Customer. They left us with Damage to Surrounding Areas without Any Fix. We had Countless Conversations with Jason along with Bruce of which neither could find a Suitable Solution. We lived this long with Everything Out of Our Cabinets being All Over Our House. Each time Maurice came to "Fix" or Exchange the Doors a Huge Mess was left being a Huge Frustration to Us. Due to Signing a Contract with Factory Direct we were Stuck with this Vexation Day in and Day Out. Communication was Extremely Poor with Show-Up's Not Scheduled, Us Being Left in the Dark, and Pure Distrust. I would Never Recommend Factory Direct Renovations Group for Any Kind of Home Project or as a Company. This is as we are still awaiting a Piece that they Promised us.. read more

Kitchen, bathrooms remodeling, including wall removed, interior doors changed, baseboards and crown molding, etc. quality of work was very poor because the owner doesn't care about his workers and kept on sending wrong materials and tried to get away with not doing part of what was on the contract. i gave this company a TWO STAR, because he has good workers. He did hire a manager at the end and this manager came to see what hadn't been done and after I fought with the owner (GC) i decided to finish some work with other workers on my own and his manager was able to give me partial credit. I would never do or recommend this company to any of my neighbors who came to see my remodeling. AGAIN HE HAS GOOD WORKERS, BUT HE DOESNT DESERVE THESE WORKERS. Great experience. Designer Ana and Owner Perry took our ideas and, using the design cues from our home, brainstormed a wonderful update to our kitchen. For slightly more than others were quoting for just cabinet refacing, Factory Direct gave us quartz countertops, new glass tile backsplash, small layout adjustments, and cabinet refacing. The project was completed October 2020 - The baseboards are separating from the wall, they were not originally secured and/or caulked correctly - The kitchen backsplash (Quartz) is separating from the wall - The kitchen drawers are not closing properly, they were suppose to be easy glide, but they aren't. Their estimator Bruce was quite the salesman. I had other bids and went with Factory Direct. Bad mistake. I work in commercial real estate and work with contractors often. This experience was one of the worst. The quality of workmanship, the lack of communication (and miscommunication) the failure to show up and extended schedule was simply inexcusable. Luckily I withheld 10% or they would have NEVER completed the project. Finally the sent their master cabinet maker to straight out all the poor quality color, quality issues that they had left. A little more recent. I had splurged for real wood and just spent thousands to treat these cabinets which had termites. Everyone I talked to very nice to get a sale ..cabinets installed ..there are a few issues ..glue still in cabinets, Chips, pealing off ..saud they would come back ..I keep getting pushed to another person ..I did a contract with them in March and I've made several phone calls and texts ..still. Not repaired !! Disgrace !! Take your money then blow you off- it's a shame we all work so hard for our money .to be ripped off by these people and they don't care ! The two that stick in my mind is the plumber that came to put my fixtures back on to the sink connection after the countertops were put on and the two gentleman that came to my home today on June 6th of 2021 to install new doors in my bathroom Seymour and Gabby. I had the misfortune of having to meet with Bruce. When he first walked through the door, he was smiling from ear to ear, high-fiving me and everything. Then it all went down hill from there. I told him I wanted to get my kitchen cabinets refaced, the kitchen pantry done, master closet redone and a mini office upstairs. He proceeded to tell me that "I ain't gonna git all this done for that price, boo! How much you think all this is gonna cost? Ain't gonna happen." I was upfront and told him I was shopping around and only needed an estimate, but he insisted and pressured and prodded me to sign a contract. After he told me it would be $7,000.00 to do the kitchen and $2,500.00 to do the kitchen pantry, I informed him that although his price may be good, it's too much for me at this time. He asked me, well how much did you think something like this would cost. I answered honestly and stated that I am shopping around so I can learn what average price for a project this size would cost. He continued to say "I really want to help youuuu (whining)...can I do your pantry? Let me do your closet! I'll see how much lower I can get the kitchen!" At this point I was done. Even if he offered the lowest price out of EVERYONE who came to offer an estimate, I would not have worked with him. I eventually had to lie and tell him that it's too much money, can't afford it just to get him the hell out of my house. I actually just signed a contract with someone who quoted me a bit more, but I feel they would be a joy to work with. Bruce is pushy and unprofessional. As soon as he realized he was not going to make a sale. His happy, chipper and overly FAKE demeanor disappeared immediately and he says "Is there anything else I can do for you?" And let himself out the door. Buyer beware. If you're looking for an estimate, don't call them. They will pressure you to sign a contract right away. read more

Three years out after my $9K kitchen cabinet resurfacing job and they are starting to fall apart. Surfacing is pulling away, found large broken gap under counter sill that was not visible from a standing position. Glue everywhere, curling facing away from cabinets, soft close hardware breaking. Wow to the guy jett s....all that because he tried to get the business and get you on the schedule..? I felt so lucky when we met Bruce that he was the real deal... We had shopped doing the kitchen every way.. ourselves.. different contractors, and even had considered IKEA..When we say they were on it.. They came exactly when they said.. his guys even look better than the usual contractors.. They cleaned up.. He takes almost every call, or will call you back quickly.. He even added extra quartz to our island, like 8 inches all the way around because my spouse is tall. We paid in a few payments and it was the best choice ever..ever!!! We have a pantry wall kitchen in white shaker.. his shaker cabinets are solid wood without the creases on most.. We had Factory Direct perform a total remodel of our kitchen and living areas including new laminate floors and cabana bath. The various teams all worked hard to complete this project from demolition to final completion. The design layed out by Bruce was spot on. He was able to fully understand what we wanted to do and the color scheme and design turned out amazing. Daniel stayed on top of all the project management tasks to keep all the various work crews on schedule. Bruce came to my home, high fiving, boisterous, attempting to make me feel like we were friends. Do not fall for this sales pitch. Also, do not make the mistake I did. Do not accept the few granite samples he has as all the inventory in the world. I selected one of the 3 he showed me and the one back splash. However, when they came to install the granite counter top, I did not like it at all. Funny thing is, when he came to my house he said we could go view the slab of granite before its cut and fabricated and i replied good, then I could what else is there. He said, never mind I don't want you to change your mind, there are costs associated with that. silly me for accepting this, truly my fault. The granite and back splash team was very nice and professional. Seemed to take care in their work. They messed up, but I would have trusted them to fix the situation. A week after they were done, my cabinet guy came (unrelated company I hired) to work on my cabinets. It is then we realized the granite team shifted my counter top in my island cook top too far over and two of the three drawers could not open or close because they are now blocked by the cooking unit. Additionally, when the granite team removed the 4 decorative panels that surround the island cook top to install the new top, they did not measure the new height correctly. My cabinet team had to remedy by cutting the panels shorter (they never put them back which is why I didn't realize they no longer fit) and cutting a large hole in one of the drawers to be functional. I lost one drawer completely. First Bruce acted like he didn't understand what I was saying to him, so I had the cabinet guy explain it to him. Bruce promised two weeks straight someone would be out on Tuesday, the fifth Tuesday is coming up and no call back and no show. Once they are paid, that's it. Bruce also told me, since I am paying $6500 for a slab of granite, which included fabrication and install and the installation of the back splash, which I had to buy separately, the slab is mine and I get all left over pieces. When I asked for my pieces, first I was told there is only a small piece left, then I was told, all pieces were trashed. Bruce credited $200 for the trouble. With the purchase of the counter top, I received a free sink, but had to pay the plumber separately to reconnect the faucet and appliances after they took them apart to install the counter top. Because I was paying, I replaced the faucet and garbage disposal. Overall, now that I had my cabinets done (thank goodness separate unrelated company), my kitchen looks really nice. BUT just because it looks nice doesn't mean it was done right. read more

Flexible, accommodating and delivered a high quality bathroom which had to be torn down and completely remodeled. By the way, some of these (bad) reviews don't look at all like they are for the same company I'm talking about though...the company who did the work for us was with Bruce, Daniel, and Denise, who were absolutely amazing! We looked around for awhile for contractors to remodel our kitchen and narrowed it down to meeting w/ 3 companies. Of those 3, Bruce with Factory Direct was the only one of them that brought samples, gave us ideas and that we felt the most comfortable with. They had the best quote as well. We had our cabinets refaced (they look like new cabinets now, turned out beautifully!), backsplash redone, new countertops and had them add an over the range microwave as well (so they had to modify existing cabinet boxes to fit the microwave there...it also turned out beautifully...Alphonso their carpenter did wonderful work as well!). Everything turned out great! We were impressed with them from the start, how they were on time, started right away, their quality workmanship and great work ethic, their projected schedule for completing work was spot on and any concerns we had were addressed immediately. They're really a phenomenal company and we plan on working with them again to remodel our bathrooms. read more
