Amazing experience at The Cellar! My friend invited me and a group of friends to celebrate her birthday in Sebring, and since I'm from out of town, I didn't know about this place but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is beautiful, and our server was so kind, taking time to explain the menu, desserts, and drinks. She checked on us regularly and made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the portions were generous enough to fill you up without being overwhelming. The desserts were good, though none of us completely fell in love with them. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be back to try something new the next time I visit Sebring!

Went in Saturday evening. Cute quaint place. Served was friendly and attentive. Good selection of wines. Ordered the ny strip and tiramisu. Along with a moscato and for desert a 14 yr Glenlivet. Steak was delicious and was the desert.

    Veal Meatball Tom toms.

What a hidden gem! Who knew such flavorful, unique dishes were available on Sebring, FL. Alpine Chicken, Meatball Tom toms (veal), French Onion soup and pasta Pappardelle were outstanding. The atmosphere is classy and cozy. The experience was rounded out by the amazing service provided by Lauren.

What a nice surprise in Sebring. I travel here for business and always frequent cowpokes or the inn on the lake. Decided to try The Cellar, so glad I did. Nan the bartender was spectacular, friendly , offered suggestions, but not all in your space. I travel solo, so it's nice to know this is a solo friendly bar and restaurant. Had the lobster bisque it was loaded with lobster, the best I've had since Martha's Vineyard. Had a great Bombay dirty martini, then had the pear pillows, this was a tad salty for my taste the only reason I am not giving a five star. For dessert I had the tuxedo dessert, this is not housemade, I've had it in other establishments, but the presentation was on point. I will be back.

Complimentary dessert for my birthday. Forget what they called it, but it was excellent!

We asked online for people's favorite restaurant for a special occasion and got many recommendations for The Cellar. We visited for my birthday a couple weeks ago and had a very pleasant experience. First, service from Liz was outstanding. Very attentive without being bothersome, you can tell she really enjoys her job and is very good at it! We started with the fried calamari app and it was fantastic, probably the best we've ever had. Tender, crispy, perfectly fried to a golden brown and lightly mixed with Thai sweet chili sauce. 10/10. My wife got their version of Shrimp Scampi, which was good, but very "wet", like the pasta wasn't fully drained or possibly pasta water was added to the pan and not reduced enough. It was also lacking in garlic flavor. Still good, but could've been better. I treated myself to the Frutti Di Mare, which was very good but suffered from the same problem as the Scampi, too wet. Unfortunately, in both dishes, that extra water diluted what could have been a very tasty sauce. It's too bad, but we see this watered down sauce dilution problem a lot in Italian restaurants. Overall, still a great experience and we'll be back at some point to give them another shot. We were told that they'll be rolling out some menu changes when they reopen after vacation.

Another great dining experience at The Cellar. The Ruby Slipper is a great drink and the Salmon Venezia is delicious!

I've eaten here many times, but this time my meal was exceptional! Arriving- This place is out in the boondocks of Avon Park! Trust your GPS to get you started. Once you are closing in there is excellent signage. Of course, you're parking at the clubhouse and there is a decent lot. Watch out for golf carts! Atmosphere- This is a golf club restaurant that is open to the public. It's a big, bright, airy place with two large rooms and a beautiful bar. As many of the customers are just off the golf course, it's very casual. It has quite a few TVs for catching a game but it's definitely not a sports bar. Customer Service- Our server was a bit of a mix. She was very new, very nice, but lacking in knowledge. With a little time, I think she'll be great. Food- A combo of unique and classic American fare. You've got your burgers, chicken parm and alfredo dishes. There is a selection of flatbreads that are awesome, and a giant pretzel served with warm beer cheese that is incredible to share! I was on a mission. I had seen an 8 oz. skirt steak with chimichurri on the menu. It's not often I see chimichurri and I was drooling. I paired it with some fries and looked forward to an amazing lunch. It was out in good time. For a lunch plate, it was a very nice presentation. The nicely seared steak was coated with chimichurri with some additional served on the sided. The pickled onions were a nice touch. The fries were beautifully cooked. The steak was fantastic and a perfect medium rare. The chimichurri was bursting with flavor and the fries were exceptional! The meal was an easy five stars, but the service was a bit off. I'm going with four stars and a strong recommendation to get the skirt steak!

-- My craving was satiated! -…read more Cowboy Steak Salad popped into my brain and the craving was so strong I jumped into my car and drove the11 miles to this place. Here is what happened- The Chain- Based in Tampa, there are around 140 locations with the majority in Florida. They can be either franchised or corporately owned. They tend to use existing spaces so the interiors can vary quite a bit. Over the years, I think I've been to four of them. Arriving- This one is on the northbound side of US Route 27. It's in a plaza fronted by the local MickyD's. Just look for the golden arches. Plenty of easy parking. Pro Tip- If you are a Yelp Check In person you'll frown. The address is screwed up and maps about 5 miles away so no Check In! Ambience- These guys bill themselves as a Family Sports Restaurant and that's about right. Zillions of TVs! You'll be surprised how small it is. The u-shaped bar seats about 15. Booths around the edges and mostly high tops in the middle. There is nothing unique about it. It's clean & neat and otherwise unremarkable. Adult Libations- Full bar with maybe ten taps and lots of bottles. Not a fancy craft beer place. You'll have seen the selection many times. I ordered a pint of Goose Island IPA @ $6.50 but it was 2 for 1 so not only tasty but a great deal. Wi-Fi- Kind of a mess and needs work. There are four or five unsecured obvious listings, but they either had no internet or required registration which I'll never do. Fortunately, Xfinity had a strong local hotspot, so I was good to go. The App- Solid with great reviews! If you are ordering to-go or delivery, the app is a must. Customer Service- I sat at the bar, and my bartender was wonderful. Five stars and absolutely no complaints! Food- Giant, giant menu. They try to satisfy everyone. That rarely works but they give it a great try. It's American comfort and bar food and you've seen variations of it a million times before. I ordered my Cowboy Steak Salad @ $16,99 and specified medium rare. It comes with blue cheese dressing, but I subbed ranch with no problems. It came out exactly as I was craving. My steak was tender, sliced nicely and cooked perfectly. In addition to the greens, my salad included roasted corn, diced tomatoes, bacon crumbles, onion crisps and shredded jack cheese. All I can say is yum! Conclusion- So the place is nothing fancy or particularly original, but it was clean with a great bartender, very good entrée salad at a competitive price. It gets a solid three stars from me!

I am giving it a one star only because of last night's performance from the staff. We went there to watch the Super Bowl. If when we got there as we were sitting at the bar talking about the Super Bowl talking about waiting for Bad Bunny to come on they at that point should've told us that they were not going to be having Bad Bunny but the alternate Turning Point to be televised. They didn't and it ended up having me to cause a scene now I should not have because I'm old enough to know better however they should've known better to have announced it beforehand. Would that being said I will not be back to their establishment.

Customer Service- So I blew into order my cheesesteak to-go. The young lady at the counter was a little chatty as I am and just fine. It took me maybe two minutes and my sammich was out in about five more. No choice but five stars! Food- So they bake their own rolls here which is a big plus. The gold standard for cheesesteak is an Amoroso roll from the Philadelphia area. These are not that but very good. There was plenty of tender meat with no fatty pieces. Good stuff!
