    Country Ham

I really wanted to love this place. It's a super cute down home atmosphere and they have a drive thru! I love when restaurants like this have drive thrus! Unfortunately, the food is just not it. Country ham is inedibly salty. Two bites and I couldn't eat anymore. Hash brown casserole is complete mush, like no hash brown casserole I've ever had. Could literally be mashed potatoes. Eggs are exceedingly average. The one thing that was great, however, was the biscuit. Which is nice considering the name. It's huge and fluffy and one of the better tasting biscuits I've had. Sadly friendly service and a great biscuit isn't enough to save the place so I don't think I'll be back.

As SpongeBob would say 5 months later... returned to see if any changes but pretty much the same place great food and service and great place for breakfast. Ambiance low key rustic feel with booths and tables.

Service was so good and fast. They were so sweet and patient as it was my first time ordering. I didn't go to the drive thru even though that's an extreme convenience and love that!!! But I went inside. I loved all my food. Everything was prepared well and seasoned. It's such a nice country food southern cooking and family type of vibe I'll surely be back here. They have different lunch specials for different days of the week plus breakfast and everything is very affordable

I want to get all up in yo biscuits, Fagan! Hubs was craving biscuits one Saturday morning in November. We wanted something quick so we decided to go through their drive thru. There was a long line of cars, but it moved fairly quickly. We ordered two bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits. Wait time wasn't bad at all. The staff was friendly, both while taking our order and while handing it to us. These are some bomb biscuits! Soft on the inside and a touch of crispy on the outside. The eggs were cooked well and the bacon was crisped to perfection. Their food is simple, delicious, and affordable. I can see why this place is always busy on the weekends!

Fagan's biscuit barn is usually busy in the morning every time we drive by. We decided to drive thru to pick up some breakfast this morning and it's busy with many cars in the drive thru and in the parking lot. I have only been inside and this is the first time ordering drive thru. There were a few cars in front of us, but the line moved relatively quick. We were in front of a large menu board with breakfast items on the left and lunch on the right. I ordered a biscuit bowl with grits and sausage (egg and cheese on top). You can also choose bacon as your protein and gravy instead of grits. I also ordered biscuit with plain gravy. After ordering, you pay at the first window. The cashier hands you a clipboard with the credit card machine attached to the end of it so it's hands free! She had on a mask and gloves. Then, you pick up your food from the second window. They are both composed of basic breakfast items. Biscuits are large and fluffy, the gravy is rich and creamy. The bowl had good ratio of all the items and each bite was balanced. Good visit for a quick easy breakfast.

This is a cute southern place. From their tea to their food it was a southern flair. The biscuits here are those ole school fresh fluffy water biscuits. Soo good.the chicken tenders were good. For me the hashbrown casserole was too cheesy where as my friend said he loved it. So a mixed review on that. Overall a good experience. From the look at the platter I was like where's the rest but I was definitely full when I left. Technically didn't finish it all.

Award-winning biscuits 3 years running. Must be good!

The wonderful experience started from the get-go. The young lady taking my order was extremely friendly and helpful. She guided me through my options as it had been a while since I've visited here. My Feast Regular order came out promptly - scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, and of course the famous biscuit! Nothing disappointed, although my grits might've needed a bit more flavor. Otherwise, was a perfect late breakfast, my belly was full, and required a nap shortly afterwards. I won't wait as long to visit Fagan's again!

Got an order of bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast biscuit to go. It's not bad, but it's not spectacular either. It's pretty average. Their bacon wasn't cooked super hard to be crispy. they use American cheese. Their biscuit consistency is pretty flakey, not too buttery/oily. And egg is... egg. Again, it's not bad. A quick easy place to get your fix in. But if you call yourself a BISCUIT barn, I'm expecting rainbows and unicorns of biscuits. Maybe that's just me

Our server, Mikayla, was attentive and sweet, and made sure we were good without hovering. I didn't expect such good service because it was super full in there as we went for Easter Brunch . The first time I came, I had a different server and didn't have the best experience, so I was a little unsure about coming back but this visit changed that. I feel a need to mention that the hosts were amazing . There was a older man i did not get his name but i got the girls name, Trinity. She has been there both times i've came and is always welcoming, and helpful, which really sets the tone. The dim lighting and comfortable seating also made the experience even better. Side note: the "Loaded Pancakes" was really good and worth trying. Overall, a much better experience this time around . I'd come back again.

There were nine of us--not exactly a tiny table, but hardly the kind of group that should throw a restaurant into chaos. To be fair, we did wait for two people in our party before ordering food. It was probably 20-30 minutes, and we made it very clear to our server that we were waiting. We also weren't just camping out at the table. We started with drinks while we waited, so the restaurant was already making money from our table before the kitchen ever had to cook a single thing. Once everyone arrived, we placed one order together. No staggered tickets, no special requests, no unnecessary complications. The thing is... the restaurant was practically empty. If anything, I would've thought they'd be happy to have a table of nine on a slow brunch. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience. Once we finally ordered, it was another 30-plus minutes before much of anything happened. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly interested in us being there. She checked the boxes, but just barely. It felt less like hospitality and more like someone waiting for the end of their shift. What made the whole experience even stranger was looking around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet several employees seemed to be standing around talking while we sat waiting. During the hour or two we were there, I think only a couple of other parties came through the door. At one point there were two hostesses managing what amounted to a trickle of guests while tables that were already seated waited on drinks, food, and attention. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than I could see, but from where we were sitting, it felt less like they needed more people and more like they needed to use the people they already had a little better. Then came the mimosas. These were less mimosas and more "suggestions of citrus." It was basically champagne with a couple thoughts of orange juice. At one point we had to ask for more orange juice just to get it to the legally recognized definition of a mimosa. They tasted like champagne that heard flavored sparkling water was popular and decided to reinvent itself. There was a whole lot of "mim" and not much "osa." At nearly $14 each, I expected something a little more festive and a little less... chemistry experiment. For food, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Benny: two biscuits, fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, Cholula hollandaise, and fresh fruit. On paper, that's a fantastic brunch. In reality, it was aggressively average. Nothing was quite hot enough. The biscuits had crossed that invisible line between baked and overbaked, where every bite makes you wonder if they're fresh or just committed to the bit. The whole dish felt like it had spent just a few too many minutes waiting for someone to remember it existed. And then there was the fruit. You know the kind of fruit bowl where every piece somehow tastes exactly the same because it's been sitting in the same juice for hours? That's what this was. Cheap melon, tired grapes, and enough pooled juice to ensure every bite shared the same identity crisis. To top it all off, the Benny was around $18, and the mimosas were pushing $14 each. I'm not going to call it a scam because words have meanings. Nobody tricked us. The prices were right there on the menu. We knew exactly what we were doing. We just expected the experience to justify it. On the bright side, the restaurant looks like it was designed by someone who has never met food, but has definitely met Pinterest. And honestly, it shows. Modern farmhouse, soft lighting, curated everything--it nails the aesthetic. Which is great, because you'll have plenty to look at while everything else catches up. It's funny how common this is now: it's easier than ever to make something look finished. You can polish the surface until it feels complete, even when the inside still isn't. Anyway--great aesthetics. The rest feels like it's still figuring itself out.
