fantastic food, fabulous new friends, great service and the atmosphere and hospitality was wonderful. Thanks Yelp for the wonderful fanfare event tonight. Thanks to Homestead for having us. The Caesar and Homestead Salads were amazing. The Caesar had sun-dried tomatoes for a different twist and the Homestead with candied pecans, dried cherries, maple vinaigrette and the sweet potatoes and onion slivers was just fantastic. The egg rolls were delicious and the brussels sprouts and cauliflower absolutely yummy!!! I had the steak medium well and it was mouthwatering to die for. the steamed spinach and the homemade fries were just the right touch. my ginger cherry mocktail was the right drink for the meal.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was so different and flavorful. Definitely gave the feels of food made from scratch. It was spacious, parking was easy, although not as abundant due to busy Mother's Day weekend. Our waitress was awesome and definitely will be returning. Had a good time.

Came here tonight when the sun was setting so we sat outside and the view over the area with the sun was truly a special view. We were quickly seated and the service was excellent. The smoked salmon dip was phenomenal! They didn't skimp out at all and gave us a very large portion of salmon and with the oil it was so good. The filet entree was very good and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I got the meatloaf and for some reason I wasn't as much of a fan but, I applaud them for a different take it just wasn't my favorite. Overall I'd definitely come back and always sit outdoors or in the loft! Definitely try this place out.

Ate here with a friend during our trip to visit a brewery nearby. We sat outside on the balcony and it was very pleasant. I had the panko crusted mahi mahi that was served with roasted asparagus and rice. It tasted great. Friend had a burger with thick potato fries. The fries were like chips, but soft and well seasoned. Our server was excellent. We were worried that the restaurant might be full, but we were seated immediately and could have had a table indoors if we had wanted that. There is a wine and cocktail menu in addition to beer, and a short dessert list. Prices were high but not unreasonably, I thought. I would eat here again.

Such a cozy ambiance & friendly service which makes you feel like you're having a home cooked dinner experience. The NY Strip was delicious & the sautéed garlic spinach was perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to come back to try their seasonal menu (:

Sawnee Mountain Sliders. Appetizers made of fried green tomatoes was so good I was going to get another order as my entree.

The atmosphere was really unique. Amazing views of the park. Rooftop experience, middle floor main restaurant and basement pub. It's an event in and of itself. Great food and staff. Looking forward to coming back after hiking Sawnee Mountain again!

Cannot get enough of this place!! Always wonderful, friendly service and the BEST shrimp and grits!!! I order it without question every single time I visit this restaurant (which is often), and it never ever disappoints! Homestead is your go to for fine home cooking and they offer really nice portion sizes, so be sure to come hungry or ready to bring home leftovers (no complaints there). I love to sit out on the back patio which looks over all of city center and the amphitheater/green space. The indoor ambiance and very country cozy, and feels super warm and inviting.

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

They do not brew their own beer (aka no beer flights) so not sure why they are called a brewery. This felt more like a restaurant. There were tons of seats, and it was very nice! The outdoor seating is downstairs (no elevator). The drink menu needs descriptions, not just names. The drinks we did have were great (strong & not overpriced). The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.

My friend ordered a burger that she said was excellent and ate all of very fast, but the bacon seemed a little flimsy and she suspected wasn't cooked enough. She set it to the side. I got the fish and chips, though I wasn't supposing that it would be SINGULAR fish and chips because it was only one largish piece of fish. It was good, but I really would have appreciated two of them at least, even if the size was a bit smaller. The fries on my plate were left mostly untouched because it seems like they went a bit nuts on the spices. I like spicy food every once in a while but these seemed a bit too much, it was hard to tell the color of the fries through the layer of spice. I got the beignet straws for dessert and shared them with my friend but we ended up eating about 8 of them and packing up the rest, they were drenched in grease and the powdered sugar didn't quite absorb it all. They were absolutely excellent with the caramel though! Later in the day I did get a bit sick from the amount of grease in the food I ate but I would be lying if I said the appetizer and main course didn't taste great! Would give a pass to the dessert next time though and just get the chocolate cake.

The staff was kind and attentive, and the space itself was decent -- clean and casual. I came in looking for fish tacos and ordered the grouper tacos (fried corn tortillas) with a side of refried beans and guacamole. The tacos were the highlight -- the fish had really nice flavor and texture. At first glance, it looked almost like fried fish sticks, but it tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The tacos were stuffed with cabbage and a generous amount of pico de gallo (a little too much for my taste), but everything came together nicely once I added the chipotle-style sauce. The sauce reminded me of Subway's chipotle mayo -- creamy, smoky, and actually really good. The guac was smooth, flavorful, and clearly fresh. Unfortunately, the refried beans didn't hold up -- they were runny, watery, and totally bland, like brown soup with no flavor. Also, I was surprised they only offered white rice instead of the traditional Mexican rice, which felt like a miss for this type of restaurant. Overall, I'd give the tacos an 8.5/10 -- tasty, filling, and worth coming back for. The guac was solid too. I'd just skip the beans next time.
