Awesome wings with a good variety of sauces. Not a great place for dine in due to it being hot inside and small, but the food makes up for that drawback. It's hot because everything is made from scratch in small batches made to order. We got the medium wings and teriyaki which were very good. We'll try lemon pepper and hot bbq next time. I love this place!!! I ordered the gyro (lamb) and the the hot lemon pepper wings. Both were on point!! Nothing fancy about the inside as far as decor yet....the customer service makes up for it all! They make you feel welcome! That's what I look for in any establishment I spend my hard earned money with. The best part is the prices! DON'T miss this place! (I hesitate to tell you all about it, because the place was slammed at 1pm on a Friday.) As soon as I saw the clientele, I KNEW the food was gonna be great...and it was! First, the menu is HUGE! Burgers, hotdogs, gyros, wings, fried rice, wraps, cheesesteaks, salads, etc. I was rushing to get errands done so I ordered a chili dog combo to eat in the car and it was delicious! I spoke to a few other customers while I waited and got the same report "everything I've had here has been fantastic!". The prices are fair for great food. What does Subwing mean? I dunno. Subs and wings? There is no sub sandwich made of wings here. :) This little, Korean-owned station is my favorite place to get wings. Why? Koreans know chicken. We've been fans of this little place for a long time. They seem to do mostly take-out, but it's open for dine-in if you so choose. I've had cheesesteak and the gyro which are both pretty good, but I usually drift to the wings. They're fried well and spiced right. There are a lot of reviews that complain the wings are small -- which they are. Make sure you order right to account for that. read more

This is one of the first places I added to my list of restaurants to try in the area. It took about 3 years to make it there but I made it :)! I didn't realize it is right in front of the Kroger, and there's a little road to get to it from Kroger and the Main Street. I was mainly in the mood for a milkshake so I knew I wanted that. Other reviews recommended the Philly cheese steak so I decided to get that with chicken, side of fries, a side of macaroni bites, and the Oreo milkshake. As soon as I entered, the woman cooking greeted me cheerfully. The guy handling the ordering was also friendly so A+ for service and making me feel welcome. They were pretty quick with getting my order ready, maybe 15ish minutes. I had high hopes but the food was just okay. The champs would have to be the fries and milkshake. Fries were hot with a bit of crisp. And Oreo milkshake was soo good. The cheesesteak was just okay. Not bad but not great. I wasn't crazy about the macaroni bites. Something about the batter - maybe too thick and the macaroni.. eh. But, because of the service and that milkshake I will definitely go back and try something else. read more

First timer at Sub Wings! I was in the area looking to try a new lunch place. Thank you fellow yelpers for letting me know about this small business. I believe its a husband and wife team running the show. They were very informative, friendly and polite. :) I tried the Philly cheesesteak (even though I grew up in Pennsylvania, I always add lettuce and tomatoes to my Philly...i know its not traditional, but its oh so yummy!" My sandwich was very good and had a good amount of meat on it (hidden under my lettuce). :). Fries were served hot and were great! I've been meaning to give this place a try. At first the name turned me off - SubWing - but the more I thought about it the more I liked it. Subs are awesome, Wings are awesome, put them together and let the people know where your priorities are. I've read some reviews and it seems like SubWing has some loyal patrons and when I walked in around lunch time it was buzzing. I was excited to see what all the commotion was about. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak lunch combo. It was ok, but nothing special. Honestly it reminded me of Subway. The best part of the sub was the bread - soft and awesome. Everything else was pretty ordinary. The cheese was provolone and maybe that was my fault for not asking, but I was expecting a sauce/whiz. My bad. The tomatoes didn't really fit in the sub (see pic), so it was easier to just take them off. The peppers, onions, and mushrooms were hidden on the bottom and I didn't even notice them. I still have hope that the wings are good here. Maybe I'll find out next time. read more

It is difficult to find good wings in this area but ALAS Subwing has ended my quest. I would have rated this place a five but I did find the lemon pepper wings a bit salty, I would recommend a lemon pepper seasoning without salt or add more lemon to level out the taste. I almost didn't try this place out due to the unusual window tint that gives it the appearance of a "questionable" business than the great hidden gem that it is. Wings, favorite flavor in order: Hot, Spicy Teriyaki, Teriyaki, and plain Philly Cheese Steak (w/ hot sauce) Gyro (w/ hot sauce) Buffalo Chicken Sub BLT By far the wings are my favorite part of this restaurant, I especially love their house hot wing sauce. Once I was craving a gyro and then I walked in the store smelled the hot wings and suddenly I was craving wings. It's that good. Their subs are also very delicious, their Philly's are better then Philly Connections that's for sure and they also have their Buffalo Chicken Sub which is kinda like this spicy grilled chicken sub which is also very mouth watering. I also love their lamb gyros, but with their hot sauce it is soooooo good! If you can't tell, I love spicy food. Ha ha ha ha~ Their BLT is more on the light side so if you want a light meal, try their BLT's. Also if you love large cut fries this is the place to get them. Come check it out! read more

Ordered from here today. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!. I called in at 10:30 to make sure my order was ready by 11:30. I must have read off my order to him 5 times. ( I was buying lunch for my employee of the month) so I wanted to make sure it was right. I ordered 10 piece lemon pepper and a side of rice instead of fries. (which I will go ahead and tell you, they do not do that. nor are they accommodating.) I get there and I see 2 boxes. one with a huge mountain of rice and another with wings and fries. I tried to explain that I just wanted the wings and rice. They argued with me for a good 3 minutes. YOU DO NOT ARGUE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. EVER. And I bet the food was great, it smelled great. It was attached to a Blockbuster and a cleaners in front of the Kroger parking lot. With the Blockbuster no longer open, Subwing sits quietly hidden next to the cleaners. just off highway 9. Now lets get down to the food. I personally only have had the cheesesteaks, frech fries and the almighty chicken wings...or should i say baby chicken wings. Yes their wings are on the small side but the owner usually never hesitates to throw a couple extra. Hell one time i ordered a 20pc of the famous teriyaki and my man made it a 30pc since they were a bit smaller than normal.The flavors are med, hot, teriyaki, hot teriyaki, and lemon pepper. Maybe one or two more flavors i cant remember off the top of my head. They also have gyros, fried rice, and other types of subs that you can order.
