Almost all the workers were being lazy and sitting and talking behind the counter. The only one I saw working was the poor girl running up and down taking out trash and cleaning the movie theatres by herself. The management needs to put more discipline into their workers and make everything more fair considering the name is "Fairchild". The movie Maverick was amazing the people behind the counter were great but the nachos I ordered were the worst I ever had in my life and they were almost 6 dollars and I do mean the worst awful. read more

It's a very small theater but it was nice because we didn't have to wait in line. And the prices are reasonable. A large soda was only $5.50. The staff was friendly and able to accommodate us as we were a bit late to our showing. They have a few arcade games in the lobby which were fun to play after the movie. read more

Was my first time back since the pandemic have to wear a mask just to buy ticket. And continue to wear it unless you get a drink or food. Also now you have to pick your seat before hand and can't move from that seat even if the theater is completely empty. read more

Five Stars, not so much for the amenities but for simply existing and having multiple screens! They play all the new releases, but in the busy summer months they drop anything that isn't doing too hot pretty quickly. The theater itself has been clean on each of my visits. I haven't had sticky foot syndrome even once at this place. The seats are decently comfortable and it's stadium style seating so I don't feel like I have to hunch down so that the people behind me can see. There have been a few audio issues which were generally corrected quickly. When Iron Man was playing and I was watching a movie in the theater next door, I could still hear the bass bits of Iron Man through the wall which was a bit annoying though it was pretty cool that they were cranking up the sound. They'll also play the movie even if you're the only people to show up like what happened with me and my wife when we went to see Forbidden Kingdom. One thing they don't do here is have the advertisements up while you wait. They have about 2 or 3 minutes of ads right before the movie and they only show you the ads one time through. read more

Fairchild Cinemas is an okay movie theatre. The seats are very comfortable, the popcorn is amazing, and the service is great. The only thing I have a concern about is that everything is so expensive. $11 to go see a movie?! For 1 Child and 1 Adult, it is $30! What I don't understand is how the candy is $4.50 for a small bag when you can find the same bag of candy for $1 at Walmart or the Dollar Store! The owner is very nice though. On my birthday, he gave me a pass so I could watch a free movie and I got a free snack box! Fairchild Cinemas does not always get all the good movies which is a bummer sometimes. I do enjoy coming and watching a good movie and having a big tub of popcorn all to myself occasionally! :) read more

This is the only movie theater in town, so I am so glad it is excellent! It has good selection of movies, really good sound systems, stadium seating, and pretty nice size theaters. I think it has 6 screens. Most important of all, the tickets are still $8! A+ read more

Wow what an amazing theatre! Overall this place has got to be one of my favorite places to go spend my free time. I feel like I'm always here. Their popcorn is super good compared to almost any other and it's always fresh. The seats are very comfortable and recline a little which is nice, and the stadium style seats allows me to see over the persons head in front of me. The general manager is really nice as well as every employee that has helped me thus far. 11/10 recommend if you're looking for something to do! read more

Decent cinema... very small compared to other cinema in big town. The popcorn is decently priced just dont add anymore butter or salt or anything as any addition is 35 cents more (each). Theres only the 3 of us on a Thursday night.. read more

Kind of pricy ($45 for 2 kids and 2 adults to see a 3D kid movie, that of course was not playing in 2D after normal people get off work....), doesn't offer much by way of matinee, and absolutely does NOT get all of the new movies, and like someone else mentioned, on the occasion when they do get movies that aren't top-grossing action flicks, they tend to drop them pretty quickly. Ok so here's the deelio. Popcorn is the most important part of any movie experience. But sadly, I found myself heartbroken over fairchild cinemas' current popcorn situation. Popcorn is supposed to be salty, buttery, and fluffy. You're guys' popcorn tastes like styrofoam and cardboard had a baby and stale butter adopted it. I went to go and take my son to the Movie Theaters here in Moses Lake for his birthday. We get there and there is a man with a little girl (not sure the relation) but they were there to see Trolls. She must have been 4 maybe 5 and she had on a little back pack which contained her little ponies. The theater refused to sell them tickets unless she turned over the backpack to the front counter. The guy then got upset because the little girl just wanted to go and watch Trolls with her ponies. She didn't understand. He got a little loud (we were the only other people there) and voiced how upset he was over this nonsense. He then went outside to called someone to come pickup the little girls backpack. Once he went outside I asked the counter lady why they wanted to keep her backpack. At the same time a manager walked up to the counter and said it was a safety concern. There was no where to put it without it being a safety hazard. I asked her if she took women's purses. She laughed and said no, because women generally put their purses on their laps. I then said "why not tell the guy to hold the backpack then if that's the concern?" She said she wasn't going to do that. I didn't end up getting to see our movie because they didn't accept American Express, so my son and I ended up leaving. As we were walking out the guy and little girl came back in. When I got to my car I heard the guy coming out of the theater saying something loudly to the people inside. I drove up to him and told him that I side with him and I understand why he is upset. Then I noticed her backpack was gone. I asked where it was and he said they had given it to a family member to take home so they could watch the movie. But when they went back into the theater they refused them movie tickets due to him being upset and threatened to call the police if he didn't leave. He asked them why they needed her backpack and they said it was to make sure she didn't have candy. He said they could look inside of it but that wasn't good enough. So now, they are telling me one reason why a little girl couldn't bring in her backpack and telling him something else. Needless to say, this theater is the only one in Moses Lake and makes me NEVER want to take my family there! Horrible experience!!! read more

Well I do love going to the movies, bt the only reason why I go to this one is because its the closest one to me. The Service is okay some people are nice and others are jst plain rude. the bathrooms are really dirty, well actually the whole movie theater was dirty like the floors. They are severely overpriced. The owner (white haired old man) is very rude. They always raise their prices. And the least bit of whispering gets you yelled at and threatened to be kicked out. And no we weren't chatting away. Merely whispering about a PREVIEW that we thought looked good. We need a 2nd theater in Moses lake so this one can climb down off it's money hungry high horse! read more

It is Dec. 26th and 22 degrees outside. I went to see The Hobbit with a friend and we froze. I complained several times and was informed by the girl up front that the heater didnt work and it was too late to call anyone to fix it. Why they sold tickets to a movie room that they had trouble heating, I dont know. I would think they would want repeat customers, but apparently not. The worst part was the air conditioner did work and was turned on! What a miserable 3 hours! I will never recommend this theater to anyone! Also I saw the owner sitting in his office with the door open and I am sure he heard the conversation I had with his employee, but he never once came out to apologize or address the issue.
