We usually stay in Marriott and we travel a lot but lately since last summer we noticed Marriott quality is getting worse. The rooms carpet has to go, it smell horrible and all those spraying doesn't work anymore and it's a big Nono for allergies. The mattress and pillow with the cover blankets are horrible. OMG the worst breakfast choices that they have. Overall I would Not recommend anyone and we booked Hyatt for our next stay in Seattle. Hopefully that will be better. Happy New Year read more

Brand new hotel in kind of a weird place for East Wenatchee, but it works. At least there's a McDonald's you can walk too. I was only there about 14 hours, and 3 of those hours were out and about so I wasn't even in the room that long. It was simply a place to sleep. Being a new hotel, you expect it to be very clean, which it was for the most part. On the surface, my 2nd floor room was nice enough. Upon further inspection, the thermostat cover was already popping off (which by the way, control the temperature in the room, and it also has set limits. I couldn't go above 74 degrees in the room. I first tried to adjust the heater/air conditioning unit itself which doesn't do anything.) The room has a fridge, which I love, and I wish all hotels had one, but there was already frost building up in the back of it! I'm not a fan of communal shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in the showers, but I get it from a cost savings and environmental aspect. Still, it looked like the installed something in the shower for another brand, then changed their mind and mounted another set on another wall in the shower. A 2nd room floor facing the street isn't the best. You could hear traffic and the view wasn't that exciting. I assume if I was higher and on the other side of the building, I would see the mountains which would be better. Granted, I wasn't there that long, but still, I didn't sleep as well as I could have. They also had these decorated window sun diffusers. That was different, but it did block people from seeing inside the room while letting in some sunlight. Parking was another issue. There isn't enough. It only took a few vehicles with trailers taking up 2 spots to make parking a challenge when I returned to the room around 9:30pm on a Friday night. Luckily, someone left, and I got their spot, but I was about the park near McD's. The next morning, my car was blocked by someone hitching up their trailer! They were nice enough about it when I told them I had to leave, but I had to wait about 5 minutes. Finally, I booked the place partially for the free breakfast. Sadly, I had to be somewhere at 7am, which is when it starts on the weekends. It's 6:30 all other times. It does state that on the website, but I didn't know my exact schedule when I booked the room. I was disappointed though as I had to settle for McD's. Otherwise, check in and check out very easy. They have a workout room and indoor pool which looked nice. It seemed like someone was always on a treadmill when I walked by. In all honesty, I might consider staying here again, I would just ask for a higher floor. read more

Comfortable stay enjoyed! Got the king suite which provides a nice work/sleep balance with a king bed on one side and a desk and couch in on the other. Each side has its own huge TV. Hotel internet had no issues, even watching streaming internet TV. One thing to keep in mind, hotel is in EAST Wenatchee and this means you are likely to have to cross the Columbia river using the bridge to get to anywhere you need to go. Nice view of the river but it adds time anytime you leave the hotel. read more

Super disappointed, I made a reservation on July 5th. I realize this is one of the busiest weekends for this area. I was relieved I had a confirmed reservation, and 2 hours later, Fairfield called me and stated they were unsure how I was able to book a room. They stated they turned off their booking early that morning, and were unsure how I was able to book through Expedia. They let me know they could not accommodate me, and they were sorry and would reach out to Expedia to fix the issue. Still really disappointed that I was called hours after I had a confirmed reservation - not a good feeling when you know you have a confirmed place to stay and then the place calls and says sorry, you don't! No comp or anything was offered. Hopefully the hotel and their online management can work to make sure this doesn't happen again to someone else. read more

This is one of the newest hotels in Wenatchee and is easy to locate as it is on a hillside, behind Wenatchee Buffet. The lobby is pristine and brightly lit. They have a swimming pool and a fitness center that is furnished with modern exercise equipment. The rooms are clean comfortable. We had a lovely stay at Fairfield Inn while we went to see a show at the Gorge over Labor Day weekend. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed, the facility felt new, and the included breakfast was surprisingly good-I've always had very low expectations for the free hotel breakfasts, but we actually enjoyed light fare before heading out for the day. The star of the show was Tanner at the front desk. I have an infant at home and was pumping while away for the weekend. The room does have a fridge but no freezer. I called the front desk and spoke with Tanner. I asked if he could access a freezer to freeze my ice packs, and then asked if I could freeze my milk. He made sure my milk was properly sealed and stored to prevent spills and maintain hygiene, and he gave me another bag to ensure all kosher. He took my milk and ice packs to the back freezer and he was so kind and sensitive about the whole thing. His warm accommodation brought tears to my eyes. I told him he saved me and how much I appreciated his help. What a special guy. Tanner, thank you so much again. Fairfield is lucky to have you. read more

Very nice hotel, clean, modern, large TV, comfy beds and pillows, decent WiFi, easy parking out front, friendly staff, good bath products no funky hotel smell whatsoever. My sister and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in East Wenatchee last night. The staff was nice, the room was clean and quiet, but the mattresses (two queen beds) were atrocious. I haven't slept on a more uncomfortable mattress since traveling in Ireland 10 years ago and sleeping on basically box springs that made me cry. These mattresses have significant hills and valleys and hard spots with no cushion left. I only got about two hours of non-restorative sleep, and was sore this morning. My sister reported the same dismal experience. We were extremely disappointed. If you aren't actually interested in sleeping, this would work for you. Otherwise, stay away unless you can verify the mattresses have been upgraded. read more

The husband & I had a great two nights here on work. It just opened August 1 and I think we were the first guests in the room! Lucy checked us in and gave us some great tips on the area since we'd never been before. The woman that worked in the breakfast area has a kind word for everyone. Reality helped us resolve a minor issue with our room. Great staff made us feel welcomed every time we came in contact with them. Still working out a few of the kinks but that's to be expected when a hotel is 3 days old :-). Gym looked nice, breakfast area is large & has power plugs, room had good desk/suitcase space, great bathroom lighting, & large tv, AC good, walking distance to restaurants and the mall. Close to the river! I would enjoy coming back to stay again the next time we're this way. read more

The hotel was nice, updated and clean! Our room had a nice walk in shower, great lighting, a closet and chest for storage l, but tv and mini fridge to name of few. No microwave but we didn't need one. They have a pool and a gym that looks very nice but we weren't there long enough to take advantage. Showtime was free during our stay so that was a plus ! Guest services was very nice, welcoming, friendly and helpful. They had a good spread for breakfast included during your stay. Why only 3 stars then? I'll start with the food since that's where I just ended there was a great spread Sunday morning. Oatmeal, omelette, scrambled eggs, make your own waffle, bagels, sweet breads, english muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, meat protein etc! But, an hour before breakfast end time there was hardly any food or options available and it didn't seem like they were going to restock. Next, and the big reason was the noise. We stayed in room 312 which was not a bad location, close to the elevator and the stairs. The room was lovely as described above. But we noticed on our first night there the heater made a loud constant cracking, cackling, clicking noise. It woke me up the first night so I turned the thermostat totally off. It still made the noise ! Not only did we not sleep well, we woke up cold because at 4am I thought the solution was to turn the heater off. Other Cons : the pillows were so soft they were basically mush under your head. Our next night we asked to switch rooms because of the heater noise. They moved us to 310 which was close to 312 and convenient for moving our things. The room was setup the same as the original and was just as nice. We settled in and turned the heat on to see if it would make a noise. It didn't ! But it seemed to take over 10 minutes to heat up during the heat up process the air that blows out is uncomfortably cold until the heat kicks in. As long as you maintain the temperature though the room will get and stay warm. So we went to bed at 11pm and the heater was fine and then it started making the same noise as the one in the other room ! In addition , we were now closer to the elevator and could here everyone getting off and on and even the bell chime. Regardless of elevator location, the walls are so thin you can hear people on the hallway and above you anyways. If I went back to Wenatchee again I would either stay at the Hilton like I did in 2019 or I would look at other options. I am part of the Bonvoy Marriott rewards so I do like Marriott but the construction of the walls in this particular hotel have led me away from returning. A single bottle of corona is over $7.00 from their downstairs cooler to BYOB. read more

Very clean property, wonderful customer care and amazing sleep on the bed and pillows! I want a new mattress now. Cameryn at the front desk was wonderful each time we needed her. At check in she was warm and kind and even snuck up to our room to help make sure our Christmas elf could get in before going up with our kids. She also helped take family pictures of us the next night in our pjs so we could send to our families who live across the country. Tasha delivered me an extra blanket when I couldn't get warm, she delivered it quickly and with a sweet smile! I didn't catch our housekeepers name, but she was just as friendly and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Every staff member we passed always greeted us with a smile and a hello. We enjoyed the couple days we were able to spend at this property and will for sure be back when we pass through. It's a great location, everything you may need to run out for is right around you. P.S The Mexican restaurant across the way, El Porton is AMAZING. read more

We come to Wenatchee often for both work and pleasure. The Fairfield has been our go-to for several visits now. Its fairly new and somewhat clean. Room prices are typically the best in the region for a national chain hotel and its centrally located. But be aware, we won't be staying here again at least not during the summer months. Its the July 4th weekend and not exceptionally warm this year. Nonetheless, I'm writing this at 2:45am as I woke up in a sweat for the second time this evening/morning. I've just learned from the friendly night clerk and manager that the rooms have a max A/C setting of 69 degrees. My wife runs hot most evenings and now I guess I'm guilt of it too, as the room was just not comfortable. The front desk seemed well rehearsed on this topic with the corporate policy and their only solution of offering a fan. Maybe that will help as its only 57 degrees outside currently at 3am. But what happens on a typical hot summer night here in the high desert? Did I mention that Chelan County routinely flaunts their abundance of hydroelectric power with the cheapest utility rates in the entire country? So we clearly are not restricting guest in order to say money, are we? Water conservation can't be the issue either as they are dumping Lake Wenatchee as quick as possible due to the abundant water levels due to an exceptionally high snow pack and Spring rain season. So it must just be a corporate policy from on high with the local staff having no ability to control. Great. Like I said, DON'T STAY HERE FROM JUNE TO OCTOBER and now I'm wondering if my wife and I would freeze during the colder months as well (do they restrict the heat then?). BE FOREWARNED. read more
