This was a nice room for a studio with two queen size beds. Everything was clean and well lit and the furnishings were not old at all, but the room looks sharp. I was there for a Friday night only and I thought that the cost was a little excessive at over $200. I would hope others agree with my findings and the pictures attached. My room was located almost at the extreme end of the hallway. It was nice and quiet down here. This place is worth going back to, but just remember that it's not the cheapest.

Nice place stayed here for a training for a week and the breakfast was great. They had some good food I just made myself a sausage muffin with some scrambled eggs. With some oatmeal and put a bunch of fixings on top. The beds can be a bit of an upgrade they seem very broken in or they need to flip them. The hall walls down the room can be kept up clean I walked past by the whole week and saw the razor cap on the floor. The gym they got a few weights and a couple of machines but they need to keep up with the floor with a vacuum. The shower can use some kind of non slip a few times I almost fell inside the shower because it was slippery. But overall I'll stay here again and hopefully the beds are more comfortable next time.

Convenient location near lots of shops, stores and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Checkin was easy and our stay here was enjoyable. If you are visiting in Folsom or near Folsom this is a great convenient hotel.

Raise your hand if you're fatigued from COVID restrictions... that's what brought us here. We needed an escape... so we drove up for a long weekend getaway. The selling point to this hotel was the pool, fitness room, and free breakfast. Everything you see in the Yelp photos is exactly what this hotel looks like in real life. Normally I would've booked at Staybridge suites. The value there is simply unbeatable. I wish they had suites here that had a separated room. While most of the staff here tried to be courteous, there were a few details that kept them at a 3 star level. First -- everyone seems rushed. You can tell this by the way they interact with you, like they just need to check things off a list because they've got a lot to deal with. They're short staffed. Whoever works at the front desk has to check people in/out, handle breakfast service, manage the fitness room and pool signups, answer the phone, and deal with any other issues that come up. Second -- there needs to be a better system for pool and gym utilization. They have sign ups in 2 hour blocks but many times, I noticed the facilities being unused. There's gotta be a more efficient way to allow more usage of these amenities. Third -- the free breakfast is quite lackluster. Frozen breakfast sandwiches, packaged muffins, cereal, basic drinks, yogurt cups, oranges/bananas, granola bars. I understand it's a challenge to provide service during COVID times but there's gotta be better quality? I do appreciate the location of the hotel. It's very convenient and there's ample parking. Love that Costco is so close. I also felt very safe in the area. If I had a chance to stay at Staybridge, I think I would've been happier there.

Easy check in, friendly host. Very clean rooms. Soft pillows and beds. Well equipped work our room. Indoor pool was small and a little dirty. Best of all was the breakfast. Freshly cut fruit, watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, blueberries, blackberries, mango, grapes, and other was all sweet. They had the staples oatmeal, waffles, pastries, etc...

    Continental breakfast. Really good.

We had a great two night stay. Everyone was so friendly. Our room was extremely clean, the shower was HUGE. The continental breakfast was extremely organized, clean and very good. We will stay here again soon!

I picked this spot on location and price. As I was attending the Elite party and the PalladiGras party on a Saturday evening, I knew there would be some alcoholic merriment and shouldn't drive back over the hill. This hotel was an easy 10 minute walk to and from the Palladio shopping center. All wide, well lit sidewalks and crosswalks along the way. It took longer than I expected to drive in on highway 50, so I arrived in a bit of a hurry. The hotel was easy to find. Check quick. I ran up to the run to freshen up and head to the parties. The king room was fresh and clean. The room key must be placed in the slot next to the door inside to activate the lights and plugs in the room. The bathroom- spacious, very clean and white. The walk-in shower- I want in my house. Plenty of soft towels and Paul Mitchell products were available in the bath. I returned after 11pm, the lobby was well lit. The halls nice and quiet, slept like a baby. The next morning their idea of a continental breakfast is scrambled eggs or cheese omelette, oatmeal, self serve waffles, turkey or pork sausage, as well as nice looking fresh fruit and breads. Check out was quick. Since it was a very hot drive over, the very iced lemon water upon check in really hit the spot. Stay here again? Absolutely!

Well.. I think we have found our prefect hotel. Our family has been staying in a lot of hotels this…read moreyear and we have experienced a range of hotels . We made our annual trip to Sacramento for our oldest doctors appointment. We have done this for the last 5 years and have experienced a variety of hotels in Sacramento and this one beats them all. We are a family of 5 so it is a big bonus to have a one bedroom and a small kitchen in the room. Having the one bedroom was a big help for getting kids to sleep at night. Also having a kitchen so that we eat together was also a big plus. Pros- Free breakfast Social reception on Tuesday & Wednesday - meatball subs, salad bar, wine, beer and soda. It's at our family for dinner that night which is a big bonus when you travel with children. Free laundry.. I was surprised by that. No cash needed Nice indoor pool- with towels Monday- We received two free drinks per adult Costco-if you're a Costco member.. if you need dinner.. well your luck because there is a Costco within a minute of the hotel. We got a $10 pizza from the pizza court to feed our family on Monday. Coffee and Tea- they had coffee and tea readily available in the lobby and in your room. Apple Hill- located just up the road about 30mins. We went to Boa Vista before heading home. Fun area- located next to all kinds of restaurants, shops and movie theaters Housekeeping-- they actually HAD staff there to clean our room. They were quick efficient and did a light touchup by making our beds taking out the trash and providing new towels. We recently stayed at a hotel (a Marriott) when we left for the day they told us they didn't have the staff to touch up the room. We only had one small incident and it was quickly handled. I was doing dishes by hand because we didn't have very many and I decided to open up the dishwasher to just set the clean dishes on the rack while I finish them up and a butter knife fell to the bottom of the dishwasher. I went down to pick it up and almost got cut with glass because there was a broken glass at the bottom of the dishwasher. I called the front desk and since we were heading out anyway, they did the room touchup and took care of the glass before we came back. We look forward to going back more often not only for when we head up to the doctors but also when we wanna go to Apple Hill or do any other business in Sacramento area .

The rooms all have a full sized kitchenette .... full sized and "ette" go together? There is a full sized fridge and microwave, even a dishwasher to go with the 2 burner electric stove top. Dishes, pot and pans and cooking utensils are included as well as forks, spoons and knives. The rooms are really setup for extended stay work situations. The hotel even has free self serve laundry! To make these work trips not so stressful, there's even a happy hour with free light dinner food Monday thru Wed. BBQ's are available by the indoor pool outdoors in the patio. The happy hour even has beer and wine. Service was great with an early check in. This is a really nice property. Breakfast is included everyday for guests too! Real hot breakfast, none of this stale doughnut and weak coffee excuse of a continental breakfast. I will have to say though, the hot food items are not so good and the Holiday Inn Express is way better when it comes to breakfast. Something to think about if you're staying for an extended stay. If you do want to go out to eat, almost every chain restaurant you can imagine is in the direct area, but still a drive, there's not much to walk to from here. You COULD walk to Costco and get one of those $5 chickens! That makes for good multiple meals in the room. Overall, it's a good stay, I mean breakfast is just standard, but the coffee is out all the time and that's good. The room was clean and hot water was endless. No time to use the pool though.

The room was old, worn down, and not very clean. There was rust and staining in the bathroom, visible dust throughout the room, dirty plates and utensils, an uncomfortable mattress, flat pillows, and an air conditioner that struggled to keep the room cool. What ultimately earned this hotel one star was how they handled my billing issue. They charged my stay to the wrong credit card. I contacted the hotel on June 14, and on June 15 they sent me a credit card authorization form so they could refund the incorrect card and charge the correct one. I completed and returned it the same day. After that, I sent multiple follow-up emails over the next two weeks and received no response. Nearly 17 days later, they finally attempted to process the authorization. By then, the card declined because it was a card I use with a limited monthly budget for travel expenses. Had they processed the authorization when I submitted it, there would have been no issue. Instead of acknowledging their delay, they simply told me the authorization declined. At this point, they still had not resolved the billing issue, forcing me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Between the poor condition of the hotel, the lack of communication, being ignored for weeks, and the failure to resolve a simple billing issue they created, this has been one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I would not stay here again.

The room itself was decent, but I noticed about four ants crawling on the walls and ceiling, which was concerning. Soundproofing is also very poor -- you can hear everything from the hallway. In the morning, I was woken up by people talking as they walked past the room. I also don't think it makes sense to charge for parking given the overall condition of the hotel. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and professional. However, based on this experience, I would likely not stay here again.

I got a room as requested and my welcome rewards points were posted right away to my account. MY room was clean and the AC worked well and the WiFi speed has increased since my last stay 8 years ago. No problem streaming and getting work done. OK, now to my complaints. They switched the 24/7 coffee from big dispensing carafes to these new "fangled" self grinding, brewing and pouring out single serving machines. There's a touch screen interface, so if you're a senior citizen that isn't all modern computerized, you might have a problem, verses the old just plain push button and coffee comes out carafe. It takes WWAAAY too long for each cup to be processed and this leads to crowded lines at the breakfast rush. BAAD decision! It's a corporate decision, cause it's the same at all the IHG Holiday Inn Expresses. I can't fill my big coffee pot from the dispenser anymore, I gotta "brew" separate cups and then pour them into my pot that I like to keep in my room as I work. OK, that was my main complaint, the rest of my stay was great.

Before this incident, the hotel had already been informed about his disabilities and the fact that he can experience meltdowns involving prolonged crying. When one of those disability-related episodes occurred, she did everything she could to comfort and calm him. Instead of showing compassion or attempting to work with the family, hotel staff came to the room to complain. She again explained that her son's behavior was directly related to his disabilities and that she was doing everything within her ability to help him. Despite that explanation, the police were called, and the family's reservation was canceled the following day after they had already been staying at the hotel for several weeks. What made the situation even more disturbing was the way she was treated by a front desk employee named DAVID . I witnessed staff speak to her in a disrespectful and demeaning manner while she was simply trying to advocate for her disabled son. No parent should be made to feel humiliated for caring for a child with disabilities. Our family spent a substantial amount of money staying at this hotel, only to be treated with a lack of empathy, respect, and professionalism. Watching a family be removed after trying to explain a child's disability was heartbreaking. Based on what I personally witnessed, I would not recommend this hotel to families with children who have disabilities. I hope the hotel reviews its staff training and how situations involving guests with disabilities are handled so that no other family experiences what we did.

I appreciate that the front desk staff was courteous and offered us a different room since some rooms were already available. However, we specifically booked this room because our family friends were staying in the room next to us. They had already received a notification before 3pm that their room was ready, so it was disappointing that ours wasn't available when we arrived an hour after check-in time. We decided to wait for our original room and asked the front desk how much longer it would take. While waiting, we had to stay in the lobby. We finally got into our room at 5:20pm, more than two hours after the advertised 3pm check-in time and about an hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. Once we got to the room, we noticed the blackout roller shade was completely down. We looked for a chain, pull cord, button, or any other way to raise it, but couldn't find any controls. We even tried lifting it by hand, but it wouldn't stay up, so we couldn't enjoy the outside view or let any natural light into the room. The staff was polite throughout our stay, but betweeni the delayed check-in and the issue with the window shade, the experience was disappointing. Update: We ran into yet another issue after our first night. My husband used the shower, and we discovered that it was clogged. The water would not drain and was still sitting in the tub. At 7am., I went to the front desk to report it. We asked if there was another room where we could take a shower since three more people still needed to shower before we checked out. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available. We were told someone would come to check the shower around 10-11am., but we had to leave by 10:30am., so the issue couldn't be resolved before we checked out. At that point, we were extremely frustrated. We paid for a room expecting everything to work properly, but instead we dealt with one problem after another. Not being able to use the shower on our last morning was very disappointing, especially when several people still needed to get ready before leaving.
