Pretty nice Hotel, clean and in a very safe area. It is pet-friendly which is what we needed. Our group was there for 4 nights as our grandson was participating in a baseball tournament. This hotel was only about a mile from where the baseball park was located, so that was super convenient! Also it's right across the street from the outlet stores which was nice as we had time to kill between games. The continental breakfast was an extra charge, which we went ahead and paid for. It was not bad, and at least we didn't have to go searching for breakfast every morning. I do wish they offered coffee, and tea in the lobby all day, but they only offered it til 10:00 am. There are Keurig machines in the room though! The staff was very nice . Although they really didn't seem to have time to do full housekeeping ( they explained they were short-staffed) they were always happy to get us anything we needed! And we clean up after ourselves so it wasn't really needed! They have a very nice lobby that allowed us to gather with our group and eat food that we ordered. Plenty of tables and chairs, and very clean. If you drive up the main road just a couple miles there are lots of restaurants, In n Out burgers, etc, and a few pet- friendly restaurants also. Burger King and Chilis are right next door and we easily went there on foot. All in all I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling with pets, or need to be near Mann Park where they hold the baseball tournaments . read more

ROOM 428 We arrived at 4:00 PM to check in, even though the website states that check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Unfortunately, our room still wasn't ready. I appreciate that the front desk staff was courteous and offered us a different room since some rooms were already available. However, we specifically booked this room because our family friends were staying in the room next to us. They had already received a notification before 3pm that their room was ready, so it was disappointing that ours wasn't available when we arrived an hour after check-in time. We decided to wait for our original room and asked the front desk how much longer it would take. While waiting, we had to stay in the lobby. We finally got into our room at 5:20pm, more than two hours after the advertised 3pm check-in time and about an hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. Once we got to the room, we noticed the blackout roller shade was completely down. We looked for a chain, pull cord, button, or any other way to raise it, but couldn't find any controls. We even tried lifting it by hand, but it wouldn't stay up, so we couldn't enjoy the outside view or let any natural light into the room. The staff was polite throughout our stay, but betweeni the delayed check-in and the issue with the window shade, the experience was disappointing. Update: We ran into yet another issue after our first night. My husband used the shower, and we discovered that it was clogged. The water would not drain and was still sitting in the tub. At 7am., I went to the front desk to report it. We asked if there was another room where we could take a shower since three more people still needed to shower before we checked out. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available. We were told someone would come to check the shower around 10-11am., but we had to leave by 10:30am., so the issue couldn't be resolved before we checked out. At that point, we were extremely frustrated. We paid for a room expecting everything to work properly, but instead we dealt with one problem after another. Not being able to use the shower on our last morning was very disappointing, especially when several people still needed to get ready before leaving. read more

Love this hotel. Stayed here many times, the hotel is decent overall, but its the extra friendly staff that really make a difference. Everyone I come into contact with here is always professional and friendly. The rooms are just a standard, older style Garden Inn room. They feature good beds, decent pillows and clean and functioning bathrooms. In comparison to a lot of Garden Inn's, this hotel is on the older side. Parking is free and plentiful. And its been reasonably quiet , the times I've stayed here. Breakfast is also quite good. From reading some reviews, it seems some guest's have to pay. But, if you're a member of Hiltons Loyalty program, you get a daily food and beverage credit that covers a basic breakfast here. Also several restaurants are close by. And for food app orders, the food can be brought directly to your door. read more

Came here with my sister and baby nephew. The person at the front desk we interacted with was Eve. The whole stay was pretty comical, we requested a crib in advance, when I went down to check if there was one available Eve said there weren't any without checking, when I asked if she could check she went on the computer and said "oh wait we have one for you" and said she'd have it delivered to our room. An hour later instead of having it brought up she walked up to our room to tell us to come down and grab it (?) so I went down to grab it. They didn't give us a mattress or fitted sheet for the crib. Went back down to see if they had anything and they said they don't provide anything other than what was given which was weird. Not sure if it was Eves first week there but she seemed nervous and confused the whole time and the short dude in the burgundy shirt seemed upset about me asking for a mattress for the baby and offered me a blanket instead. The hotel is in a great location in Folsom. The Folsom outlets are directly across the street and the hotel is a five minute drive to historic downtown Folsom. The staff were very friendly. I ended up arriving in the Sacramento area a little earlier than expected and I called to see if I could check in an hour early. Jessica, the front desk staff on duty, was very accommodating and said that was not a problem. Now the reason for the lower rating is that the floors by the elevators on the first floor were always wet and dirty. I think the people from the pool track water across the lobby when they come inside. Upon checking in, the room looks okay at first but when I started to unpack I had a can of sparkling water roll under the cabinet with the mini fridge. I pulled the cold can out from under and it was covered in long black hair. I took a shower and noticed the shower curtain had stains. The bathtub and shower walls had small black hairs all over it. I had to pre rinse the tub out before showering. I then get out and grab a towel, it's covered in black hairs. I grab the second towel, it has a black mold looking stain on it. I ended up grabbing a hand towel and having to dry off with that. I called the front desk to have them deliver new clean bath towels. They apologized and delivered them right away. I refused to walk around barefoot but I noticed crumbs and the carpet just looked like it needed a good carpet cleaning. The pillows were way too soft as well. read more

We have never been here and we came into town and the hotel we booked was horrible and noone was there to check us in so we left and luckily able to check in last minute. The young man Christian was so nice and helpful and professional. It is a really great hotel with great inexpensive breakfast. The most comfortable beds. Great pool and hot tub. I stayed here for a few days and to be honest, it wasn't the best hotel I've stayed at. The front desk staff was cool. They were all nice and friendly. Very easy to talk with and I had a great time interacting with them. That is really important! The lobby area is really nice. A lot of space, nice seating area for guests, and TV's to watch whatever you want. The gym was cool. More equipment to use and a lot of free weights/ Kettle bells. Parking was not bad either. Never hard to get a good spot, but the spaces are kinda tight on the side of the front entrance by the smoking area. Aside from these things, I wasn't impressed by much. The hotel rooms were nice because they were very spacious compared to the other hotel rooms I've stayed in. The beds were really comfortable too. But... the bathrooms weren't the greatest. The tubs should be replaced as the wear and tear showed itself. The microwave didn't have the right try on the inside so it would never stay in place when food was being cooked. Really annoying! There was a lot of space to store items so they weren't just sitting out on the floor. You can tuck them away in the compartments under the TV. Outside of the hotel room, the hallways smelled really bad every day. I don't know what it was, but it was gross. Same applied in the elevator. The best way I could explain it was that it smelled like the urinal cakes they have in the bathrooms. Not a good experience and hopefully they can do something about that. Maybe it was the carpet that was holding the smell, but it wasn't good. The business center is really small. The chairs are odd and uncomfortable. I had to grab a chair from the lobby area because of how bad they were, but at least the staff let me do that. The pool area is nice. The pool itself only goes up to 4ft, and the jacuzzi was small. It wasn't even warm when my daughter went to use it, so you might as well have called it a second pool! The laundry area was small. 1 washer and 1 dryer. $2.00 to use each of them which is a fair price compared to my other hotel stays. I like the fact that the hotel is close to a convenience store, the outlets, and a bunch of shops around the facility. Have some options if you don't want to travel too far away. Overall... the customer service was GREAT. The hotel itself wasn't anything special, the hallway carpet should be replaced, the elevators need to be cleaned better so it doesn't have that "smell". Would be nice to see these places have continental breakfast too. If you're looking for spacious rooms, this is the place to be. If you're looking for great customer service, this is the place to be. If you're looking for options outside of the hotel, this is the place to be. Just know you're gonna encounter some odd smells as you move throughout the hotel. Hope this helps! read more

Good location for indoor and outdoor activities such as red hawk casino/APEX, shopping at the outlets (literally across the street) and paddle boarding in Lake Natoma. There was an issue on their system with my booking. I booked and requested a digital key the night before, but when I check the Hilton app the day of check in, it didn't show my reservation. I called the front desk and provided her my confirmation number and she said she sees it on her system but the digital key was cancelled because the room wasn't ready (I called around 11am), check in is 3pm. The employee gave me two options, level 4 with no bath tub or level two with a bath tub. I chose level 2. Upon the in person check in, my reservation did not show up again. Even the room that I chose when I called around 11am didn't show up on their system. They asked me the confirmation # and offered me a room on level 3. This particular day was like 109 degrees. The lobby was HOT and stuffy. No AC was on and there were mini fans facing the employees at the counter. I used the jacuzzi around 8:45pm and the water was luke warm. The temperature outside was around 85 degrees but the water in the jacuzzi was actually cooler. The jet pressure was okay. There were a ton of dead bees on the floor. I Pretty much had to tippy toe or wear your sandals just to get in and out of the jacuzzi to reset the system since it automatically shuts off every 30 mins. I spoke to a couple who stayed at the hotel before as they were swimming. They asked about the jacuzzi. I informed them that the water was luke warm and they said they it's been an ongoing issue; like the last time they stayed. read more

Came in around 3pm to check in on Saturday. Room was not ready so we had to wait. When the room was ready, we were placed on the first floor right next to the elevator so I knew it'd be loud and we'd hear everything. Room itself was fine but we noticed water stains on the ceiling. Stayed at this Hilton during a work trip. I have stayed before and have had much better experience than this time. As soon as you walk in you are warmly greeted by the front desk. The AC was broken therefore it was super hot while checking it. Folsom was over 100 degrees, it was not comfortable at all. Check in process was super quick and efficient. When I got to the elevator it is completely outdated and carpet and walls are super dirty. The carpet seems like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The elevator also has a weird non elevator smell. When I got to my room, the beds were made but one of the bed's bed sheets were wrinkled like it is was previously used and not changed it also had a stain on it. I opted to sleep on the other bed. The shower had hair on the conditioner bottle. Aside from that everything else was ok. It is a pretty quiet hotel and was able to sleep well. There is a coffee shop and bar next to the hotel. Super good. You have to try the coffee shop out. read more

The cons: The TV did not have an option to connect to your Netflix or other streaming services that you're a member of. Other Hilton hotels have this feature! This hotel still has "TV Guide" showing only a handful of movies. It reminiscent of 1990s! The A/C worked, but it looks overdue for an update. The carpet in the elevator was worn out and also needs updating. Access to the gym and swimming pool required the staff to come and use their keys - the Hilton app did not unlock these rooms. The restaurant was so-so. The pros: Great convenient location, within walking distance to diverse restaurants (Indian, Mexican, Filipino restaurants), gas station, and the movie theatre all in the same outdoor strip mall! Free gated parking. Location feels safe and clean. Also located right across the street from Under Armour and Adidas Outlet stores. Courteous staff that looked busy but helpful. Refrigerator and microwave in the room! Housekeeping also available daily as long as you let them know ahead of time. read more

We needed a place to stay, as my wife's sister husband's relatives were staying overnight at their house for like the 15th consecutive year. Drove 139 miles from Sunnyvale, leaving at noon and arrived here at 3pm on the Sunday one day after Christmas on the 237-880-680-580-205-5-50 corridor.   3pm hotel check in, 12pm hotel check out. I left my mask in the car, but got one free to wear from the lobby desk during check in. Got a room on the third floor of the 4 story hotel, with ample parking spaces in front of the hotel.  Interior corridors, and no balconies. Slow antiquated elevator. 10' x 22' unit or 220 square feet, about 30% larger than your normal hotel room, paying with 30,000 Hilton Honors Points, or the equivalent of $150.  Could have paid $120 with credit card but would have had to pay the additional city hotel tax. Just in time to watch the last quarter of the Raider game on the 39" flat screen TV. Clean bedroom had single window, with both sheer and blackout curtains, with sitting chair around the king-sized bed.   Wheeled chair slides into long office panel, with multiple electrical plugs available, and flat screen TV   Door closet for hanging clothes, with microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker. No electronic safe. The wooden clothes hangers are fully detachable, so the guests here don't have sticky fingers.   Bathroom comes with combination shower bathtub. Read my Yelp reviews on my laptop in front of the toilet at 5am. Minimal noise insulation, as could hear the upstairs neighbor's footfalls. Noisy antiquated AC/Heater unit under the window. View out the window of the Century Folsom 14 shopping center parking lot Hotel had an outdoor pool, fitness center room, business center with 2 pcs, and printer. Wasn't about to check out the pool to see if heated in 40 degree weather. Restaurants in the Century Folsom 14 shopping center include Andy's Kitchen Chinese Restaurant, Teriyaki Station, Chili's Grill, and Pronto's New York Pizza.  Reliance Supermarket also here. Across Iron Point Rd is Folsom Premium Outlet shopping mall, also within easy walking to get those gifts you didn't get for Christmas. 20 minute drive for 7pm post Christmas dinner at wife's sister's house. Well lighted parking lot, with security cameras at the front entrance - a necessity in the Central Valley, car theft capital of the USA! We Hilton Honors guests get a $10 credit per person toward breakfast purchase among the tables in the lobby. Have to eat early to get in two breakfasts in one morning. Drove 20 minutes to wife's sister's house 9 miles away for post Christmas brunch. Furnace unfixed due to mild winters in the past. Should have worn ski clothes. Or were they trying to discourage future stay overs? We met my wife's sister's husband's cousins from Soledad.  No, it was not an inmate transfer within the State prison system! Folsom state prison a 10 minute drive away to see your incarcerated relatives caught on the hotel cameras walking out with the 39" flat screen TVs! read more

I was there for work a couple days and I forgot my $200 On Cloud shoes, when I called to let them know they said they had them and I could pick them up ( I sent pictures of the shoes), when I drove back 2 hours to pick them up they gave me some old beat up dress shoes and said that those were the only ones in the room! read more

7/3/2021 We stayed one night and really came for the pool this past weekend. Bedroom was fine, I was a bit worried as I saw some Yelp reviews with bed bugs!?! What?!? Right, what was I thinking when my girlfriend offered to book this spot? I checked and rechecked and room and sheets all looked fine. The swimming pool isn't very swept. I believe it goes to 4 1/2ft so perfect for children. You walk thru the fitness room to get to the pool. There is parking in the complex. Anyhow, I needed more toiletries (shampoo/conditioner) after taking a swim so I stopped by the front desk and noticed no one was present for a good 10 minutes. To top that, they had an office alarm going off at the same time. I found the staff outside at the corner hanging out. They finally saw me standing inside waiting and came in to first turn off the office alarm before attending to me. Room does have a fridge and microwave which is always a nice welcome. We walked to the 76 gas station next door to grab some beverages and snacks. At 8pm, the area becomes very sketchy. Lots of solicitations going on between the gas station and the hotel. Didn't look uncommon just beware if you were staying here. read more
