This hotel I guess is known to the local police has a drug hotel I got pulled over leaving the hotel because I supposedly didn't have my turn signal on and the officer who pulled me over said to me that locals stay there to do and sell drugs out of that hotel and that's the reason why they are parked around the corner to watch who goes in and out. Breakfast sucked and employees are extremely rude and i feel like they judge you as you are checking in. Stop judging me and start looking at the locals who are using the rooms as there trap house. Room was not clean upon checking in. Pool was out of service. Bad experience all the way around after the first night we left and went to the country inn which was 1000% better then this dump.​ read more

Hooksett NH location is very clean. Front desk staff is very attentive and friendly. The rooms are super clean and spacious. Bed is COMFY!!!! Continental breakfast was typical (bagels, assorted fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice milk and oatmeal and muffins. Gets you something as you run out. The coffee is fresh, hot and delish. They kept it full on a busy Saturday morning that although the hotel seemed fully booked the dining area was comfortable to sit in and not crowded. Room prices are good. I would recommend. I've been a Marriott Elite member for over 10 years and this is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Cons: extremely outdated everything (decor, furniture, etc); the shower drain was slow so the bathtub filled up quickly; the carpets were torn; old microwave & fridge; didn't feel clean; it just overall was so outdated Pros: the bed & pillows were comfortable; breakfast was typical but fine; most of the staff was nice (one woman not so much) IMO, if you care about the look & amenities of the hotel, look elsewhere to stay. If not, then this one is ok for a night. I would love to get my points back for this stay though as it was very disappointing! read more

Less than an hour from Boston, just off the I-93, under $100 a nite! Also, you get: * Workout room, pool * Free light breakfast (the standard FISM fare) * Free hi-speed internet that is actually hi-speed * Very nice and accomodating staff I stayed here on a road trip between Boston and Montreal because I couldn't leave early in the day (had to drop the son off at Logan) and It was going to cost me $370 more to stay in downtown Boston another night. So, I fired up the Marriott hotel website (I'm a Platinum member, so I choose Marriott most of the time) and found that getting to Hookset would only take an hour at the end of the day and get me out of Boston metro for the next day commute. Of course, $89/nite seemed attractive, too. The Yelp reviews were good, so I pushed the button and here i am. if you need a place on the I-93 in this region, this is the one! read more

Fairly new; so everything looks new & clean. Decent room, good parking, close to everything, breakfast is usual stuff you help yourself to in morning. Best experience was women who takes care of the breakfast bar who was very friendly, and accommodating; so was housekeeping staff. I gave this place two stars after staying one week; all people that work main check in counter/desk are not friendly, and somewhat crude & rude; Marriott should send all of them to a attitude adjustment class somewhere. read more

This is your typical Fairfield Inn by Marriott. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. I had no issues with the room. The rooms had nice bathrooms, cozy beds, and a flat screen tv. Location wise this hotel is right by downtown Manchester, NH and only an hour away from Boston. Be prepared to meet a bunch of patriot and Red Sox fans lol. read more

I will not stay at this hotel again. We checked in there late Saturday night, January 3, the room appeared to be clean but it was late and we were exhausted. We woke up early to go skiing and when my son got off his bed and pulled the covers back I saw a bug crawling across his sheets. Upon a closer look I realized it was a bedbug, my boyfriend took a picture and video of the bug, I didn't inspect anymore of the bed because I was thoroughly disgusted and horrified and didn't want to be near it. We were in room 107. We informed the front desk and showed the girl the photograph and the video we had taken, she was sympathetic and gave us the managements contact information. At least I saw the bug have treated all of my belongings they best i can, but there no guarantee I won't have a problem. I've washed and dried everything that I can and have been doing laundry since Saturday afternoon. Again there is no guarantee I won't have a problem. I'm beyond disgusted and upset about this. I understand the risk of staying at a hotel but they don't use bedbug covers on their beds (I should have checked this before we stayed) I just didn't expect this problem from the Marriott. I'm unsure of what management intends to do but save yourself a potential problem and find somewhere else to stay. I believe they are refunding his money but they didn't seem overly concerned and didn't seem like they really believed there was a problem. Small property, newer build, right of 93 and easy access to Manchester. Property and room was very clean with no frills. Good for a quick stop and hot breakfast on your way to the mountains. Property would rate 4 stars for being clean and updates but staff missed the mark Training and a focus on guest service is lacking , nothing rude just the lack of eye contact, greetings and little touches. Yelp 100 Challenge 2019 #99 Ugh this place was awful. We got probably the worst room in the hotel - the room right next to the waiting area of the elevator. It's the weirdest location for a room. It was so loud all the time and even throughout the night. On top of that, the service was terrible. It's funny because the lady told us when she gave us the room number, "don't worry, it's not loud" we didn't think twice because we had no idea where our room was. Now we understand. When we checked out, we just let them know that it was loud all night and it was a very uncomfortable stay and she was all of a sudden so apologetic, but not in a sincere way. Just bad vibes. Maybe its just me but I'm generally a fan of hotels like the Fairfield Inn. I don't need all the fluff luxury 5 star hotels offer in order to enjoy my stay. Continental breakfast every morning and a "mini mart" area for late night snacks compliment the waiting and dining areas all outfitted with wireless internet. The rooms are a nice size and comfortable. King or two queen beds, comfy but the blanked could be softer. Nice sized bathroom with Pantene shampoo (yay!), cable and wifi (of course). There's a dunkin/gas station mini mart right next door and the staff is friendly. Overall, a safe, clean and comfy place to spend a night or two. read more

We had stayed at this hotel many times in the past and always been happy and satisfied with the cleanliness and service. Not so on February 17, 2020! The hallways were littered with crumbs and food waste during our entire stay, the pool was closed due to chemical fuming from an application of sealant in the pool area (the door was actually taped shut) and our room was infested with lady bugs. We both picked bugs off us during the night. The breakfast was cold and our room was not thoroughly cleaned. Never again! read more

We stayed there over the weekend and had a very nice experience. We found the front desk staff to be extremely friendly and very professional. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy and the decor was nice and beautiful. I cringe sometimes at the cheesy decor many hotels seem to have, but whomever decorated this Fairfield Inn has taste. I would definitely stay here again, or recommend to a friend. read more

I really, really, really wanted to like this hotel... I was looking forward to my stay here since it put me so close to family & friends. By the end of my 4 nights here, however, I found myself rather happy to depart, and not just because I was ready to get home. To be fair, I agree with both Jen F. & Paul C. in some of their observations. Let's start with the good: * Accomdoations - The hotel itself is right off the highway, is newer with a fun decor, and had plenty of parking space. The rooms were nice and had super comfy beds. Nice touch on the flat screen tvs, too. No fridges in the rooms though... what's up with that? Not having a fridge in room nearly drove me crazy given the price I paid. * Continental Breakfast - Though fairly standard, I enjoyed the plentiful options including cereals, oatmeal, bagels, toast, pastries, and fruit. There was even a waffle maker, yay! * Laundry area - I'm just happy it had one, honestly. * Housekeeping staff - very friendly, polite, and quick. * Wi-fi - can you say "free"? Yay for internet! The so-so: * Pool area - nice, but tiny. They work with the space given, but I'd hate to be here during a crowded time. No hot tub - really? Sadness... * Workout room - more like 2 treadmills and an elliptical machine. Whatever happened to stationary bikes . Again, the space was small, so they outfitted it the best they could manage, I'm sure. * Noise levels - I know this isn't completely within the hotel's control since some guests are louder than others, but the walls provided very little buffer from the hallway. Fortunately, I wasn't near the elevator, otherwise I'd have gone nuts. The not-so-good: * Service - hands down some of the rudest people I've spoken to in the hotel industry. Everyone behind the front desk was short and not even close to friendly. Check-in was a joke since it took the person a good 5 minutes to come out from the back office. She didn't welcome me nor did she give me information about the hotel. One evening, I called because my room door had been left open after housekeeping tended to it. I wasn't mad when I called, I merely wanted to make sure it was noted. The woman at the front desk would not acknowledge the issue, never said they would address it or check my deadlock, and never even bothered to apologize or ask if any items were missing. Maybe I'm use to better service where they actually care (or pretend to) about the customer, but this was the worst part of my stay. I ended up attempting to avoid the front desk as much as possible. * Hold on your credit card - Most hotels I've stayed at lately require a credit card upon check-in, but I haven't run into a hotel that puts an actual HOLD on your card in ages. There is a sign posted about it at the front desk, warning that it may take up to 15 days for the money to repost to your account. However, what they fail to tell you is that the hold is going to be for more than your hotel stay - one staff member informed me it was actually for your actual charges + 20% for incidentals. Not only is this unnecessary (they can charge your credit card for incidentals after you leave, obviously), it is just a way for them to get a free loan for a few weeks. Not a fan and not impressed with this business practice. Alright, so I may give them another shot when I roll thru town, however, this time I'm not going to be as nice about the rude staff. read more

stayed here becuase it was arranged by the family of the wedding I was attending. Friendly staff walked in checked in no issues, room was clean and spacious typical hotel room. The breakfast was clutch love making waffles for breakfast and it was included. There is a gas station that sells beer and wine walking distance and also a Dunkin' Donuts. It's right off the highway exit 9n from 93 south. Cigar shop right across the street as well. read more

Very clean. Staff was courteous and accommodating. We had to leave early for an event in the morning. Although, the hot breakfast wasn't supposed to be out until 7, they went above and beyond to make sure it was out and hour earlier just to make sure we had a hot breakfast to eat. read more

This hotel is very nice if you don't have kids because they can't... * move around the hotel at any speed faster than a turtle * go down the stairs because there will be a noise "complaint" which is filed by the front desk not the guests * play music at any level higher than a whisper *talk in the hallway because again you will get another "complaint" * be "loud" in the pool even though the room echoes and the slightest whisper is a scream * you can't walk because the people underneath you will suddenly not be able to sleep at 4pm * have any form of hockey sticks in the hotel even if you are in the hotel because of a hockey tournament. Do not go there if your in a hockey tournament! At the beginning the check in process goes smooth and they are nice as pie, then as the day progresses they get more annoyed at the fact there are kids there staying for a hockey tournament down the road that actually want to go swimming in the pool that is the size of a postage stamp. But because the pool area echoes when they are swimming and having fun they are told to be quiet even at 1 in the afternoon. They are even told to be quiet while in their rooms watching tv or playing music not loud at all. We were asked to leave the next day and were handed a sheet of other places to stay in the area (nice huh?) then when we were checking out they stated that we didn't actually have to leave, (wait did I miss something?) Anyway this place is small and not equipped to have hockey tournament families and players of any age. They should remove themselves from the tournament list of recommended places to stay.... read more

This place is very clean and beautiful but has toooooooo many rules!! It's good for if you don't like to breathe, walk, swim, jump, talk, or eat!!!! There very, very small swimming pool closes at ten at night but told my son and his friends to get out at 8:30. Now the sign says "pool closes at 10" they kicked us out while my family was having a wonderful time. They have nothing for you to do. You can't talk while you walk to the elevator because the stairs are too loud at 5 pm cause there's people sleeping at 5 pm. I will never go back to this place and is a waste of time. The only good things that they did for us is a free cookie ( a stale free cookie like really bake much). read more

After several years of staying in this hotel at the same time every year, I will no longer be staying at any Fairfield Inn & Suites! Beware if you are a smoker who chooses to stay in a non smoking hotel. I got whacked a $250 smoke recovery fee and have called numerous times to speak to the manager as I did not smoke in the room, of course, to no avail. If they bothered to look at their security camera they would see me going up and down to the side parking lot to the assigned area to smoke, others were also smoking in this area. Oddly enough as I got onto the highway I realized that I totally forgot to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff and made a call to the hotel to see if I could but it on my credit card for them, I was told I could not but they had no problem using my credit card for their fee which didn't apply to me in any way. I will mention that the hotel was oddly not totally booked like they usually are during the weekend. Not giving them another chance to screw me! Off my list of pleasant hotels!!! The front staff was rude every time I tried to call to speak to the manager and was quickly thrown into voice mail, no response and it's been 3 weeks. Beware!!!! read more
