Titanium elite. Which means I spend over 75 nights a year at Marriott's all over the country. This place is dated, dirty and needs a desperate updating. Our room was on the dirty side and I had to wipe everything down myself. The reason why this place gets two stars is for Steve, the only person who helped me and the bed is mildly comfortable. The service by Greta, anther staff was combative, rude and made this stay miserable. The grill outside was unusable and rusty. Furthermore, Greta would not provide clean utensils to use the grill. The pots in the room were also unusable. We stay at Residence inn's for the convenience of cooking our own food and we were not able to do this here. We will not be back here. We will find a different Marriott. This place is awful. Here is what you can do to make this place better. Get a new grill outside or service the one you have. Place a sign outside that grill utensils are available and train staff to know this is the case so people like Greta know instead of being dismissive. Inspect the rooms making sure certain items like dish soap, washer soap and a sponge are available, also make sure the pots are usable. read more

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VALUABLES IN YOUR ROOM! Had a personal item taken. Brought it up to staff and it "never showed up" for them to return it. No accommodations or remedy was ever offered by the staff, just a meek "sorry" ‍ Breakfast was delicious. Basketballs needed more air. Sheets not changed, beds only made. Would recommend an eye cover to sleep with as the eye on the side I slept on kept getting irritated causing pain when I blinked. Soaps in bathroom never got filled. Kitchen sink disposal not working causing back flow into sink. Heated pool was not actually heated. You'll need to google how to bypass thermostat as it's motion sensors do nothing to help regulate temperature during the night (when you're sleeping and no movement is occurring). read more

This is not my first time staying at a residence inn and it won't be my last. This hotel is well run with an amazing staff. They are there for your every need without question. They serve food in the lobby for the evenings in the middle of the week for business folks and it is absolutely wonderful. They have a great outdoor area to sit and you can bring your bottle of wine and sit outside and enjoy your stay. The pool is absolutely meticulously clean and great to Swim in with a wonderful gym too. Love the location with many restaurants to chose from within minutes. Great stay..great staff! read more

The lobby is comfortable and well appointed with a nice little market to buy snacks and wine. We used our reward points for a free night getaway and our suite rewards for an upgrade which landed us in a nice 2 bedroom suite. We had to wait awhile in the lobby for someone to check us in, there was no one behind the desk, but the staff was friendly and the check in was smooth after an initial delay. The room was nice but it smelled a little like puppies and the chairs looked like they were used as a scratching post. There were all the amenities needed to eat a quick meal and there was a bag of complimentary microwave popcorn for late night movie watching. The pool was very cold and there was no hot tub to make up for it so the adults did not stay in very long because we are wimps. Everything was very clean, that is a major plus. The biggest negative is that we were hoping for a late check out which is guaranteed for reward members at a certain level. Unfortunately the could not honor this which left us to wander around town looking for things to do. That was kind of a bummer. We enjoyed our brief stay overall. read more

Everything was excellent except for minor details in the room cleanliness. Overall room was kept well, only minor scratches and scuffs likely from pets/water damage on cabinets. Only disappointment was little details of the room were missed-splatters all over the walls/cabinets, coffee machine should be replaced, microwave had fingerprints (are they really wiping down thoroughly for COVID?) Room size was great, great features such as tv on a turntable, good furniture, full fridge, little to go size dish soap was provided, to go breakfast was pretty good. Pool area was great and clean, front desk staff was excellent through entire stay, all staff pleasant. Seems like they have a few extended stay guests they were not a bother just noticeable. Great hotel!! Clean and updated. Rooms are nice- no oven, but fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Utensils, cups and plates. Toaster and coffee machine. TV in the bedroom and living area. It was great for me because I have a 5yo so she slept on the pullout couch and I didn't have to share my queen bed! The pool area is nice and clean but there's no hot tub. And the pool is not heated. Another very minor complaint I have is that when I arrived nobody was at the front desk. It was 4pm or so. There was a sign saying someone would be back shortly but it was a good 5-6 min before someone returned and he gave no apology for me waiting or even acknowledged it. Just asked if I was checking in which kind of bothered me. Other than that, he was nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again though. Overall, good experience! read more

I travel for work and see a lot of hotels. This one is really a cut above the usual. In addition to the usual things like a really clean and well maintained facility and well lit parking lot, my room offered a full kitchen with utensils and dishes included and plenty of plugs for my electronics. They made nice design decisions too like a swiveling tv which could face the couch, work island, and bed. The room's ac was also good and the bathroom was separated by a slight hall with the sink and closet between the bed and shower. It was nice for a longer stay because after a while living on fast food and restaurants becomes gross so being able to cook for myself and having that option was nice. There is also a Applebees near bye which delivers to the hotel and because you have a fridge it is easy enough to store left overs for the next workday. All the usual amenities like complimentary wifi and a gym are available as well. If I ever am in this part of the country again this hotel is easily the clear choice for me. read more

We stayed here for one night during bike week. The hotel is very nice on the outside. Lit up at night and parking was available upon our late evening arrival. The office desk manager was extremely welcoming and had a funny sense of humor. The noise atmosphere was little to no noise from inside our room and walking through the halls. The hotel itself seemed to be well maintained. We did not have an opportunity to swim in the pool, however, it looked clean. The outdoor seating area had a nice fire pit where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to use last minute Marriott points, needs a place to crash for the night, or anyone with food restrictions because of the kitchenettes included in each room. Overall Experience Breakdown... Pros: (Regarding our Room) We stayed in a king suite. The kitchenette in our room was well maintained. I am on a strict diet and it's nice to be able to prep my own food. I liked the fact that there was a TV in the bedroom and also in the living area. The Paul Mitchell toiletries stole my heart - lotion, leave-in, shampoo/conditioner. (Regarding Main Hotel) Cleanliness. As mentioned earlier, the hotel is well-maintained. The free breakfast is good. Sausages, eggs, toast, waffles, burritos -- many options to choose from. The fire pit looked nice. We didn't sit at it but I'm assuming it's a great spot to socialize and relax. Cons: (Regarding our Room) Looks can be deceiving. The bed looked like it would be comfortable, however, as soon as you plop onto it -- fluff turns into a very hard rock-like surface. The pillows also become flat shortly after resting your head upon it. The blanket was extremely thin. I do not believe they offer down alternative blankets or down blankets. Most hotels I've stayed at use down comforters (which I love). (The bed situation is a major factor as to why I brought my rating from 4 stars to 3). The wifi was rough. We tried watching Hulu on the smart TV and I couldn't browse the internet on my phone and stream Hulu to the TV at the same time without causing it to lag. I think they limit the bandwidth per room. The decor in the room was a 'yes and no'. Contemporary styled couches and ottomans. Then you turn to the window and cringe at the 70's styled cornice on the window. Hideous.... But, consider this... When have you actually gone to a hotel and loved the curtains? (Regarding Main Hotel) We searched throughout the hotel for an ice machine. Save. Your. Time. There is none. Your fridge has one, but it takes a while to make so go downstairs and ask the front desk person for some. read more

Well as a Platinum Premier Elite with Marriott, it will be safe to say that I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties. This is by FAR one of the best Residence Inn's I have stayed at. The rooms are VERY spacious and clean. The property is in immaculate condition and the staff is very helpful and friendly. If I am ever in the Concord NH area again, this Residence Inn will be the Hotel that I will stay at. read more

Always a fan of Marriott's Residence Inns, but this one stands out for its service and easiness. The hearth room is a beautifully relaxing area... breakfast by day and "mixers" by night (which essentially are free desserts and sodas). Compared to other hotels in the area (Marriott's Fairfield included), you'll notice an uptick in both the service and quality. Silverware and plates at breakfast (vs paper plates) and good bold coffee... noticeable difference. A constantly staffed lobby area, with very helpful employees.. big plus. And of course the suite-style rooms are huge and modern. read more

great new RI! After spending 5 nights at the xcellent new RI in Colchester VT, my family found ourselves staying here unexpectedly, as my car had broke-down one evening somewhat nearby. So, I phone the hotel from 10 miles away, up i-89, where there's nothing...not a gas station. RI arranged a cab to come and pick up my family as I waited for a tow from aaa. they got my family snuggled in their room by the time i arrived an hour behind them. I stay at RI's a lot, and was impressed with the new Vermont property, but this one was even better. the furnishings were a bit finer and continental breakfast a bit more robust. and their free local shuttle to the car dealership topped-off a great emergency stay. thank you. read more

Great hotel value for our one bedroom suite. Consistent with the Residence Inn model, our room had a well-stocked and modern kitchen (full fridge, 2-burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, and dishes/pots/pans), though we didn't make use of it. Immaculately clean and well-maintained room and common areas. Breakfast offerings were vast, and unlike many other hotels offering a free breakfast, this Residence Inn continued to replenish ALL items (hot and cold) right up to the 9am closing, which meant you could arrive right at the end and still take full advantage. (Note: the hotel was completely full during my stay so maybe this wouldn't have been true if there hadn't been enough people around to justify the constant replenishment). Only complaint is that in the 1-bedroom suite, the bathroom is inside the bedroom instead of out in the living/kitchen area, so if you have someone sleeping on the pull-out coach or even just up later watching TV, you have to go through the bedroom to access the bathroom. read more

I've stayed at regal hotels around the world--from Tokyo to Beijing, Las Vegas to Los Angeles, London, Madrid, Paris, etc... And this is--weirdly--one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. I write "weirdly" because when I walked in I wouldn't have expected it... I've been to a million Residence Inns, Clarions, Comfort Inns, etc..., and then I had thought the businesses of Concord New Hampshire were basically there to accommodate the needs of people with peripatetic jobs that passed like ships in the night, but I assumed wrong. My room was huge--basically a nicely designed little apartment, complete with full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and adjoining bathroom. Lots of nice little details, such as the TV on a Lazy Susan that can angle toward any area of the suite or the sitting area of couch and easy chair. No, it's not luxuriously appointed with Ming dynasty vases, fresh orchids, or Turkish bath towels (I mean, c'mon...), and keep in mind that New England can get mighty pricey depending on when you're going. But for my dollar, this place is as comfortable, clean, and nicely laid out as anything like it around. Stay here. read more

Unless you can live with less than 2mbps service (takes forever to even load a modern webpage), it might be worth a pass. read more

To Update our review, we returned to the Residence Inn for two months. In those days one could easily get a real vib of what this property is really about. First the front desk crew Cassie,Callie, Jared,Drew,Emily,Petra,Frank & Mark. All lots of smiles, and always a big greeting from the AM to PM. Munga keeps the morning kitchen moving along, also with lots of ideas to make our free breakfast even more enjoyable. Finally Julie the hotel GM is captain of this property, and she runs it tight, and the other employees show the success to us from her meetings and follow ups with them. We are owners in a large Hotel/Condo in Miami and my guess we should know how it is done. Woohoo to the Residence inn Concord and their amazing Team. We cannot wait to return !! read more

super friendly staff. close to everything. Our goal was to be close to a city and ski resorts. Pats Peak was only 20 minutes away. Presidents week so it was busy but staff was on top of everything. The slow elevator was the worst part, ha ha. We stayed in 2 bedroom which was perfect for family of 6. We heard they also have 2 bedrooms that are a little larger but you need to ask. For local flare of food go down the street to the Common Man, excellent. read more

Residence Inn as a brand (by Marriott of course) has been similar, in my view, to Best Westerns - quality is unpredictable. Sometimes due to age or property management, staff, etc. This new location in Concord, just off of Route 93, offers the best room design I have seen. Townplace Suites tried similar but fell short, although some other chains have been warming to the genuine needs of a traveler. Whether you visit Concord on business or for fun you will be very happy with this hotel. Since the hotel is new, the parking lot is very clean, very well lit and easily accessed. The lobby is warm and inviting, as were the desk staff on both check-in & out. The interior is easy to navigate, though the elevator is very slow (or maybe I am just impatient). Upon entering your guest room you can immediately see that an interior designer was engaged, and that he, she, or they worked hard to incorporate feedback. The layout, the furniture, the wall art - everything really - is well thought out. One of the items high on my checklist is wireless access, and this location has it covered - very well. It's free and fast, a somewhat unlikely paring these days. And, on top of all of these wonderful aspects, you will also experience a great breakfast buffet! read more

My last stay prior to the Concord Residence Inn was the Marriott Marquis in NYC. Although the Marquis is probably one of my favorites, the Concord Residence Inn was an unexpected surprise. We had a one bedroom suite and the room was modern, comfortable and fairly quiet in regards to noise from other rooms. Certainly better than many other hotels at this price range. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was delightful. I would have no problem staying as a long term guest. Having stayed at other Residence Inns with rock hard beds and hall noise, this was a vast improvement. The soup and salad at night along with the breakfast in the morning were even more pleasant perks. Cannot find one bad thing to say other than that there is not much of a view out the windows. But with the room being so great, who cares about the view outside. One of the best and I would certainly stay there again. read more
